(No one's POV)

Jessie stared at him. She didn't really want to see him again, since Mike had told her that Aiden had make a bet with his poker buddies that he could meet someone, get them to fall in love with him, and he had to be engaged by Christmas Eve. Jessie and Aiden were going to be that, but when she found out about the bet, not only did she break it off with him, but she also said that she wanted to never to see them again.

She stepped up toward him and stopped right in front of him, and asked "what are you doing here".

Before that he could say anything a dog, Jessie's favorite dog from the shelter. He was not at the shelter the day before and she was sad that she never was going to see him again. The dog leaped at her.

Jessie stared up at Aiden, and said, "How...what is going on here? What is Reverend Macy doing here"?

Aiden smiles at her and says, "He is here because he is going to help me with something. I was going to ask a very pretty woman to marry me".

"Oh, and who may I ask who is that"?, Jessie asked.

"It's you", he said. He knelled on one knee and held up a ring. Jessie stares at him.
