It's Christmas Eve Jesse Patterson and her sister, Vivian is getting ready for their parents Christmas party. Jesse didn't want to really want to go. She had just broken up with Aiden. She had found out that the only reason why he started getting involved with her, was just to win a bet. He bet that he couldn't meet a woman and get to marry him, and Jesse's ex-fiancée, Mike told her.

"Come on Jesse. It's Christmas Eve", Vivian said, then she looked at her sister, when she saw her face, she reached out and touched Jesse's arm, and said, looking at her, "I know it hurts and if you want to stay home that's fine, but I do think that it could help you.

Jess looks at her and nodded, she didn't really want to, but she knew that she shouldn't let Aiden ruin her holiday. 30 minutes later, they left.
