"Please, father." She had pleaded for what seemed like the 100th time.

"Hinata, you know why you can't leave." He said as faced the window of his office.

"I know but Neji-nii-san will also be there so I won't be alone!" She said.

Hinata had been pleading with her father over the last 14 years to let her attend a public school rather than being homeschooled. She was fine with it for the first 3 years of her school life but after a while she started to feel lonely. Even her younger sister got to go to a public school.

"I promise I will control them." She said as her father sighed.

Unlike Sasuke, Hinata was open about her powers to her family. They had already known but acted surprised when she announced it to them.

"I know you're doing it." Her father said as she put on a pouting face she knew her father couldn't resist.

"Ah! I can't help it!" He hugged his daughter as she smiled.

Having a doting father was an advantage half of the time.

"Neji! Get in here!" He yelled as the boy appeared almost immediately.

"Yes, uncle?" He responded as Hiashi detached from Hinata.

"You will take Hinata to school with you from now on and will make sure she is safe and that her powers don't get out of control." He said very serious like.

"Yes sir." He said.

"Thank you, father!" Hinata hugged him as she ran to her room.

"Neji, if anything happens to Hinata..well I don't need to finish that sentence, do I?" He said as Neji felt a bit of fear.

Indeed the man was scary & very commanding but behind closed doors he had a huge soft spot when it came to his daughters.

"Yes sir." He said shutting the door as he walked towards Hinata's room.

"Hinata-sama." He knocked as she opened the door as she was already dressed in their school uniform.

"Isn't this great Neji? I'll finally be going to school like you and Hanabi!" She clasped her hands together as she smiled at him as he sighed a bit annoyed.

Don't get him wrong, he did not, not like Hinata, he just wanted to impress her by acting as the "cool cold-hearted guy" ever since he found out her favorite tv series. Thought it would get her to like him.

"Whatever, let's go eat breakfast." He said as she walked to the fridge and took out an ice cream cone.

"Really, ice cream this early in the morning?" He said.

"It's a celebratory ice cream!" She said as he hit his face with his palm.

"Ow." She held her head.

"Brain freeze?" He said as she nodded.

"Good thing my pain is my own!" She said happily as he secretly smiled at her weirdness.

"Nee-san!" They heard as Hanabi ran up to her sister.

"I heard from father, is it true?" She said as Hinata nodded.

"Can you believe it?!" She wrapped her arms around both of them.

"Well we better get going or we'll be late." Neji said as she released them.

"I'm so excited!" She said as she went to go grab her backpack.

"Should we tell her school is a living nightmare?" Hanabi said as Neji sighed.

"She'll figure it out." He said as she came out where she had cut on her finger.

"What happened?" Hanabi asked as she laughed.

"I accidentally got cut trying to grab some paper." She laughed nervously.

"You're so clumsy, nee-san." Hanabi laughed.

They watched as Hinata's finger slowly healed.

"That will always freak me out." They heard a voice as they turned around to see a brown-haired boy along with 3 others.

"TenTen-san, Lee-San, Kiba-kun & Shino-kun!" Hinata said as she approach them.

Along with her family, Hinata had also told her friends about her powers.

"How did you guys get in here?" Neji asked as they all looked at each other.

"What did you guys do?" Neji then sighed.

"Well they didn't let us in through the front door so we went through the back!" Lee said as Neji looked annoyed meanwhile Hinata laughed.

"You can't just break into people's houses!" Hanabi said as Hinata tried to calm them down.

"It's alright guys, we should all get going now! We'll be late to school!" She said as they all stood shocked.

"We?" Kiba asked.

"Hinata-sama, will be starting school now as of today." Neji explained.

"Really?!" TenTen hugged her as everyone seemed pretty excited.

"Well let's get going, last one there is a failure!" Hanabi said as her and Lee like to compete every morning of who got to school first.

They all nodded before running as Lee had already passed Hanabi.

"Idiots." Neji said as Hinata giggled.

"What's wrong?" Neji asked as Hinata blushed.

"There's just some trope I've always wanted to do." She said as Neji raised a brow.
NEAR KONOHA ACADEMY HIGH
"AGAIN, WHY THE PIECE OF TOAST?!" Neji yelled as Hinata had a piece of toast in her mouth while running to catch up with the others.

"I've seen it an anime once, when the main character is late to school they always do this." She said talking with her mouth full.

They had finally reached the school gates.

Hinata's stomach started to hurt as she grabbed it.

"I shouldn't have ran so fast." She said.

"Hinata." Lee said as he pointed at his eyes indicating her powers were starting to show.

"Ah! Cover me!" She panicked as she started feeling a different feeling she hadn't felt before.

Her eyes went back to normal as she looked around.

"Hinata, what's wrong?" Kiba asked as he grabbed her shoulder. She began to run as she felt a weird aura leading her a different direction.

"Hinata, classes are that way!" TenTen called out.

"Maybe she saw something?" Shino interrupted them as they decided to go after her.

She looked around for a second before finally reaching the presence she felt.

It was him.
