AHANA'S POV

I was a bit shocked hearing about their surprise vacation. And I was all the more astonished seeing that Ansh didn't want them to stay away for so many days. I thought he was an introvert type.

But I thought they needed a break. Old Age was consuming them and at this age some kind of relaxation is must.

I am waiting with Dad and Grandad now at the Airport. The Private Jet is already ready and I saw Ma coming along with Dad and grandpa. Ansh said that he would meet us at the airport but he hadn't showed up yet.

" Hey... Aha..... I thought you wouldn't come to see us off." Ma said giving me a must needed tight hug.

" I am really upset with you guys. How could you not tell me." I said giving a stern look to grandpa and Dad.

" I am Sorry.... Ahana.. Actually your Ma doesn't even know until yesterday night. It was a surprise for her too." Grandpa said winking at me.

God! Are they going to ever grow up.

" Okay... Fine. But you need you bring me lots of gifts for compensating this."

They nodded in agreement and put their luggages on board.

" Ahana... Where is Ansh?" Dad asked me looking at Ansh's Dad.

" Actually he...... "

" I am here Dad. Of course, I wasn't missing seeing you guys off. " I heard him behind me.

He was all in his business attire. Grey Armani. Smart and Superb. Man!! Ahana.. Stop Drooling.
But, I rarely see him in casuals. I wonder if he so comfortable wearing this.

Ansh came near Ma and gave her a hug. When did they grow so close?

" Ma... Seriously I am upset. You should have told me at least. " And this statement resulted in a laughter. I don't think that was necessary.

" I know... But you know even I was aloof. But Ansh.. I want you to take care of Ahana since we all are fleeing away for a couple of months." I was taken by surprise when Ma said this.

It's not for the first I am all alone by myself but yeah... This was a bit long.

Ansh looked at me. I didn't really need him to take my care. Never!!

" Ma... I can take care of myself. I don't need a bodyguard. " I said quite proudly.

" Is it Ahana.... Don't you remember the Business Party?" Ansh whispered in my ears.

Bringing back the fresh memories of that night when I drank for the first time. Thankfully no one heard it.

" See... They are already enjoying themselves. I am sure they are gonna have a blast in our absence." Ansh's Dad said making everyone laugh and I was a bit embarrassed now.

We didn't share anything, not even a good friendship and our family was already thinking so much. But I didn't realise why Ansh was smiling.

" Hi Good evening .... I am your pilot, Jack. Your flight is ready." The pilot announced.

Ansh and his Dad were speaking to my Dad and granpa. Just then Ma called me.

" Aha... I can see in your eyes that things are a bit off between you two. Now it's time to make everything back to normal. You two will have some time alone and try to make most out of it. "

" No... Ma everything is fine." I said, looking here and there.

" You can't even lie properly. Believe me if you take a step forward Ansh will take 10. You have make things right. Okay... Do you get what I mean.

It's not that you can't do it.... It's just that you are being Ignorant."

All I would do was to nod. Frankly I didn't know what she saw in Ansh that made her realise that he is quiet a humble person.

How could I tell her that even before we had a lot of time in private but it was all ruined in the end.

Anyways I never disagree to her.

" Ma... Take care. Have lot of fun and send me lots of pics." I said trying to change the topic.

" Yeah! Sure. Just like how you did when you went to Switzerland."
She was taunting me now. I don't know till what time I have to go through all this.

" Haha... Very funny. Take your medicines on time. Don't over exhaust yourself.... "

" All the good advices only for your Ma and nothing for your Dads and Granddads. " Ansh's grandad said.

" Grandad... It's not like... "

" I was just kidding. Let's get going now. I am sure we are gonna miss your coffee Ahana..... " He said.

" Hey!! I remembered something. "

I quickly went to my car and brought the thermos.

" I have made some coffee for you. Hope you can sustain with it. Not far but yeah!! It will help. " I said handing them the container.

" Oh!! Ahana. It would be a saviour. "

" You two also have fun. And miss us. " Dad said while boarding the flight.

We bade them goodbyes and saw their flight taking off.

Ansh was still beside me. He had come in his car and I was in mine. So technically we were going back alone but then I remembered what Ma said. I had to make a move.

" Ansh....." I called him when he was about to go.

" Hmm...." He said moving towards his car.

" Aa... I was.....Aa.... Thinking that.... If you and I would go for a dinner somewhere tonight?" I don't know why but now I was fumbling.

He quickly looked at me and I know was acting a bit stupid. I looked somewhere else averting his look.

" Ahana....." He called me in his same husky baritone.

" Huhhh!! Yeah... What say?? " I prompted a bit casually.

" I am busy tonight. Have already committed to someone. So maybe some other day." He said it so casually. I would feel the boiling anger in me.

I shouldn't have asked him in the first place. It was so obvious he was not going anywhere with me. I shouldn't have listened to Ma. I feel so dejected now. Nothing can happen.

It's better to be Ignorant than face humiliation on your face......

" Ohkk...... " I said and quickly left in my car. And as expected he didn't even try to stop me. He just stood there busy on his cell. Hopeless is what I call him.

I reached the office around 7. I was in no mood to work and neither I wanted to go home. I was well aware that it would be deserted and I hate being alone.

Just then I heard a knock on my door.

" Come in...."

" Mam... Actually I needed the signature of Ansh sir. So ....." It was Jen.

" So.... Take it from him."

" But, he's not in his cabin. You might know his whereabouts coz you were with him at the airport."

What! But Ansh ought to be in his cabin. It was already 9. Then where did he go.

I am busy tonight. Have already committed to someone.

I remembered his words.

" Ohkkk... Give me. I ll take it home and give him. "

I quickly wrapped up and sped to our house. In the back of my mind I was still wondering where the hell he go and with whom he was committed.

I tried to tell myself that it mustn't matter to me. It's none of my business.

When I entered our house it was all pitch dark. Of course since no one was there. I had planned to change and order Chinese food, it was my favourite. Why should I bore myself because of someone. I was going to enjoy it with a nice movie. Shah Rukh Khan's mostly.

As I was about to go to my room I saw a faint light coming from our dinning room. I knew that it couldn't be Sara. She along with other maids depart at 7 usually.

Then who was there in the dinning. I very well remember that the door was properly locked. I quietly tip toed towards the light. I had beads of sweats forming around my forehead.

Ahana!! Chill... You know karate. A Brown Belt is not bad...

I could hear faint sound of plates and knives too.

" Who's there?" I shouted, strongly by gripping my clutch strongly in my hands. I swear the thief is not going anywhere without a nice beating from me.
He is going to be the victim of all my anger.

" Anshhh!!! ..... What the......" I said gasping when I saw my husband standing near the dining table only in his white vest with his sweat pants amongst the dim light. His perfect shoulders and chest, clearing depicting how hard he worked in gym at nights.

" Ahana.... You scared me..."

" I scared you!!!..... You scared me. What are you doing here at this hour?" I asked still in the state of shock.

" I hope you remember that this is my house too."

" Huh.. Of course I know. But you said you had some commitment to fulfill. " I said, barely a whisper, trying hard not to look at him directly.

I didn't want him to notice that I was actually happy seeing him home.

" Hmmmmm... So... What do you think I am doing here? I am fulfilling that commitment. " When those words left his mouth I couldn't help but look straight at him in his eyes. And I could see they were genuine.

" But...." He was coming close to me now while I was the one who was taking baby steps backwards.

" No buts... I came home early to prepare us dinner. I did that before and I am doing it now. Go and change I am waiting fast...."

I didn't wait to reply him and quickly galloped to our room. I was so surprised. I don't like surprises although but I loved this one. Seriously Ma was so correct.

I don't know why but a teenage smile didn't leave my lips. I shouldn't feel that way. But can't help it.

I went straight to my closest to select a dress. I was searching my cell phone but I realised that I had forgotten it downstairs.

I had a quick short and warm shower. I had selected a very light and comfortable dress. It was sleeveless and light pink in colour with some net work around the neck which suited me perfectly. It was one of my favourites as it was a gift from Ma.

I wore only twice till now, on some special occasions. I thought and wished that tonight might be special. I paired it with diamond earrings and a minimal makeup. It wasn't necessary although, we weren't going anywhere. But still... Then I sprayed my one of the most favourite perfumes from France and..... Done!!

I sprinted downstairs. I was ready in just 15 minutes. Normally I don't take too much time although.

When I reached the dinning I could smell some of the delicious delicacies cooked by Ansh. I was quite surprised, that Ansh could cook while I wasn't that an expert cook.
Actually I didn't even cooked. I just know how to eat. Ma used to pamper me a lot with her wonderful cooking and I missed it like hell. But I wonder from where did Ansh learn to cook. I still remember that the night we had a fight he had planned a surprise dinner too. But yeah!! The circumstances made it difficult to enjoy. I wonder what he made.

But tonight we are gonna make most of it. I saw his muscular back when I entered the dinning area. And I was really surprised that he was wearing the same black shirt which I had gifted him. I wide smile appeared on my face. I really believe now that even he wants things to be okay between us.

" Hey!!" I said to make him sense my presence.

" Hi..... But I was already aware that you were staring at me from the past 5 minutes." He said making me gasp. Like seriously.....

" I know I look handsome in black. Black suits me.. Right?"

" Huh!! Whatever....." I said in a  monotonous manner.

Yeah!! He was correct Black make him look more handsome.

" Then.... What were you drooling at?" He said with a mischievous grin. God!! I hate that.

" Okay!! Fine... Now tell me what have you cooked? I am hungry. "

" I ll tell you. But, wash your hands first."

" But I have had a shower just now."

" I know that..... You too smell delicious like my food. But still.... There's also a hand sanitizer beside. "

" Ohhkk....." I said moving past him.

Just then I heard my cell phone ringing.

" Ansh... Could you please check whoz that? " I shouted.

I think he put the phone on speaker but I couldn't hear who was there.

I quickly washed my hands and went to check what was happening.

I could see my cell on the dining table with Ansh standing beside and his eyes truly depicted his rage and I wasn't even aware what was happening.

" Hana...... Where are you? Are you listening to me?"

At once I knew it was Jaai. But what did he say to make Ansh angry to this extent. What happened?

God... Please don't make matters more worse. It's only the first day of 2 month long loneliness.
