Dakshesh just wished that the royal family of Akashpura is not involved in such issue.  Then Agni reached his chamber and directly went to her chamber.  He asked Rashmi furiously, "Did you know this will happen?  Is that the reason why you prevented Meghnath Bhai from attending the ceremony?".

Rashmi turned away from him sideways and asked calmly, "What would I know that was about to happen?".  Agni rubbed his face and toned down his fury and said, "I went to Akashpura for your brother's naming ceremony".  Suddenly his eyes caught something and he pulled her wrist up to eye level and asked, "What is this doing in your hand?  Wooden bangles worn by servants?".

Although Agni knew the answer, he wanted to hear it from her.  Rashmi pulled her hands away from him and turned her back towards him but didn't say anything in reply.  Seeing her silence and tensed form, Agni sighed for the nth time that day and then came near her.  He gripped her shoulders in a smooth manner and then calmly told her, "Look up at me".

When Rashmi didn't look up even after his insistence, Agni gently pulled her chin up and met her eyes.  He then said, "I trust you.  I believe without a second thought that your intentions were not wrong and will never be wrong.  And your actions had always been in the best interest of everyone.  May be except a few members but almost everyone".

Rashmi glared at him on his remark about few exceptions but let him continue.  Agni asked, "All I want to know is how you knew about this attack beforehand and what you know about the culprit?".  She closed her eyes for a moment and sighed.  Then she asked calmly, "First you tell me, how do you know that I knew about the attack beforehand?".

Agni replied, "So I'm right".  Rashmi's jaw dropped at his comment and saw him chuckling at her face and then pushed him playfully and turned around and removed the wooden bangles and threw them away.  He came behind her and hugged her while keeping his chin on her shoulder and said, "You can get angry at me later.  But tell me what you know". 

Rashmi pulled him to sit with her on the bed and said, "You remember the first time we met? The forbidden gate?".  She continued when he nodded, "That time I had prevented Charu from touching the gate.  But seems like she somehow did what she aspired to".  Agni frowned but didn't interrupt her talk.  She said, "During the dinner, you might remember how I coughed vehemently.  But that was not due to me choking on my food or anything but rather due to the twin feeling which gave me an indication that something happened with my sister".

Rashmi took a deep breath and said, "As to how I knew about What was going to happen when Rajkumar Meghnath visits Akashpura, it was because .................................................... ...............................That's why I have disguised myself as a royal maid and followed you in the journey to Akashpura.  When I saw that person charging the sword in your direction, I tried to give you time by slowing down the sword". 

Agneya quietly listened to her and his eyes went wide hearing her explanation and he stood up from the bed in shock.  She too followed him and stood up and then said in nervousness, "That's how I know what she was going to do after possessing incredible powers from the Asuras behind the forbidden gate.  That's why as soon as I realised that she had touched the gate because of my unusual coughing and the restless feeling, I opposed Rajkumar Meghnath's visit to Akashpura".

Rashmi looked at him in nervousness and anticipated his reaction.  Agni went to the balcony and looking at the calm sky, he tried to calm down himself and attempted to digest her words.  She came near him and entered the balcony without even realising her initial qualms regarding the balcony, which was connected with her past memories.

Both of them just looked at the vast night sky in silence and then Rashmi looked at him with sad dejected eyes and was about to get back inside the chamber when Agneya stopped her by holding her arm and pulled her near him by gripping her both arms.  His face showed no emotions but she could see the uncertainty in his eyes.  He asked, "Are you really happy with me?".

Rashmi closed his mouth before he could ask any further questions and said, "Do you think I would kiss and sleep with someone on the same bed if I don't like the person?  I understand your situation where your soulmate had a past life with another man which might make you feel inferior and insecure".  She then cupped his face in her hands and said while looking into his eyes, "But never consider yourself second to anybody in any sense.  I like you and only you.  Never undermine our relationship to be a compromise".  Saying so she pecked his lips and went inside the chamber without waiting for his reply.

Agni too followed her back inside the chamber and hugged her from back and said, "I'm sorry for asking such question.  I shouldn't have asked".  Rashmi wiped her tears and turned within his hold and hugged him tightly.  Agneya too tightened his hold and kissed her forehead.  Both of them laid down on the bed with her head on his chest listening to his heartbeat.

Agneya started to say after a few minutes, "Even I want to tell you the reason behind me, entering this realm".  Rashmi just hummed in response and he continued to narrate the incidents which led him to enter this realm and also the truth behind the forbidden gate and the Asuras getting stronger.  Rashmi sat up on the bed hearing that and asked, "You mean to say, now that Charu has been possessed by the Asuras, they have gotten stronger than before and eventually harm the entire Pranyakta?".

Agni sighed and pulled her back on him and then said, "Yes.  And now I have to guess her next move".  Rashmi rolled her eyes and said, "What is there to guess?  Isn't it obvious from the attack on you?  That their aim was to eliminate you since you are the only person with that immortal blood capable of terminating the asuras once and for all.  If not you and our children, nobody else can inherit that blood line so their aim is obviously you.  But I think Charu might not know their intention as she is too concentrated in entering the palace as Dakshesh's wife and ultimately becoming the Queen".

Agneya smirked and tightened his hand around her waist and said, "Our children?  Seems like you want to start the process immediately?".  Rashmi turned her head from his chest and looked at him and said, "You only got that point?".  She was about to get up when he pressed her on the bed and hovered above her and took her lips in an intense kiss, sucking the life out of her. 

As they were kissing, Agni pressed down on her, particularly connecting their lower bodies with a barrier of clothes.  This elicited a gasp from Rashmi and he entered his tongue in her mouth, tasting every corner of her mouth while still pressing his lower body over hers.  Rashmi could feel his erection through their clothes and his intense kiss was making her mad and she felt like she would reach her release just through this.  He released her lips with a last suck as he felt her breathless.

As Agneya was about to move, Rashmi wrapped her legs around his waist, not allowing him to move away, effectively keeping their lower bodies connected.  She said, "Finish what you started".  Agneya looked at the woman below him with her hair open, lips swollen and saree misplaced exposing her cleavage and almost succumbed to her request as his erection grew more.  But controlled himself and said, "Not before marriage".  She glared at him and refused to remove her legs.  Giving her a mischievous smirk, he bent down and bite her breast over her blouse, eliciting a slight scream followed by her unlocking her legs.  Quickly he moved to the space beside her and she glared at him while saying, "How can you leave like that?". 

While their intense argument was going on, the door opened abruptly and in a reflex, Agni closed the curtains around the bed.  Dakini walked in hurriedly and said with a bowed head, "Samrat is here to meet you, Rajkumari".  The couple on the bed was confused but Rashmi replied that she will come soon.

Rashmi corrected herself and left the bedroom to meet Samrat who was waiting for her in the hall of her personal chamber.  She greeted him and he acknowledged her.  After a deep breath, Samrat said, "Rajkumari Rashmi, I know it is not the right time to meet but still this matter is urgent.  The attack on Yuvraj Agneya happened in Akashpura.  So as the crown Princess, I hope you will help us find the culprits involved in this.  I do suspect your family's involvement in this and you know the ultimate penalty for such treacherous acts.  But I believe you would be neutral and just in this matter and help us capture the culprits".

Rashmi nodded at him and as he was about to go, he said, "I saw the silent interaction between you and Agneya during the sarvayogita competition.  You know that you have a soulmate awaiting you there but still you are encouraging Agneya in his attraction towards you.  That's not right Rajkumari.  Hope you keep your distance from him here onwards".
