13: Is It Me, Or Is That Ezio From ASSASSIN'S CREED?

-TYLER'S P.O.V.-

I watch Drako and Saber in shock. How did Drako move that fast?! One second, he was by me, next second, he was football Linebacker tackling Saber from the air like she was a Quarterback with the football! And even more questions, why is Drako's tail wrapped firmly around Saber's? And why are her emotions so haywire?!

I try to listen, and my eyes widen. 'Do you love me?' Saber asked softly, and I gasp faintly as I hear Drako speak.

HE LOVES MY DRAGON?!

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, kiddies..." I call, and the two look up at me, Drako looking upside down at me, both drakes bright red. "Can I be the first to say... THAT YOU TWO WERE AMAZING! YOU ARE SO NOT DATING MY DRAGONESS!" I exclaim, and Drako grins, then looks devastated.

"What?!" He complains. "You.... You can't say that! I-I love her!" He exclaims, and I frown.

"She's a year old, bro. You are so not dating my dragoness. She's too young! I FORBID it." Drako's eyes widen and he looks so hurt, I almost regret it. What makes me regret it truly is the sudden, burning anger from Saber. However, it suddenly vanishes and she sighs sadly. She says something to him in Dragon-Tongue that I do not understand, and Drako looks like he was going to cry. I try to think of something to say, but my brain fails me. So, I just stand there as Drako lets Saber get off him, gets up, and walks away, wings slumped and head hung low.

'That was a dick move, Tyler.' Saber states angrily after he left, turning on me faster than me turning on an XBOX One.

'You are ONE YEAR OLD. I am not letting anyone date you till you're older! I am the Rider, here, I make the rules. Got it?' I snap back, arms crossed.

Saber growls, eyes glowing fiercely, before she huffs and looks away. 'Fine.' She hisses, before looking at the ground. I keep my arms crossed, then take a breath and try to change the topic.

'You flew wonderfully for a First Time. You were beautiful out there.' I say gently and Saber shrugs, using the light from the sun to heal her wing, which I found incredibly impressive.

'I wasn't that great... I could have flown a little better. Anyways, I should go get my wing checked out to make sure it healed correctly. I'll see you at the Dorms, Rider...' Saber says quietly, and walks off, head lowered a bit, and I try to call out, but my voice sort of dies. I look down at the ground and shuffle my feet. Crap, now I feel like a douche.

I look up as I hear footsteps, and then someone stepping over to me. "Hey... You're that Light Dragon Rider everyone's been talking about, aren't you?" A voice, heavily accented, asks, and I look up. Whoa... Is it me, or is this guy Ezio from Assassin's Creed?!

"Uh... yeah, hi... Are you Ezio?" I ask, scratching my neck nervously, and the Assassin Kid laughs.

"Bro, you're funny. Names Riley. Riley West." He says calmly and holds out a hand, which had a glove on it. I tilt my head curiously at that, and realize that his eyes were purple. An off purple, unlike Justin's, but Purple. "Cave Dragon. Sort of like fam with the Shadow Dragon breed... Just less apt to be Terroristic." He comments, and I laugh, shaking his hand.

"Well, then, you're cool in my books. Names Tyler. Cave Dragon, huh? Where is your dragon? I know you just saw Saber... Or I think-"

"Bro, I saw her. Hard to miss a glowing dragon." Riley laughs heartily, and I chuckle. "And Caedrienth is coming... Just socializing with a friend." He comments and then turns slightly. "Ah, here he is."

My jaw drops at the sight of this dragon. He looked so much like Caedmon, yet at the same time looked incredibly different. His scales were black, darker than the darkest midnight sky, and his purple eyes blazed with intelligence and playful energy. His body was rather lean, yet muscular and toned, like a race-horse. His wings tucked neatly to his sides, he easily stood 6 foot nothing at the shoulder. And god, he was BEAUTIFUL!

The Cave Dragon, Caedrienth, bows his head softly. "Fair Greetings, Tyler SabersRider, I am Caedrienth. It is a Pleasure to finally meet you."

"H-Hi..."

Caedrienth laughs at my face and hums. "Aren't you a frightened little creature. You need not fear me." He comments and I blush darkly, looking down. Oops. He nudges me with his snout, then looks at his Rider. "I will see you soon, no? We have to try flying together later..."

"I agree, my friend." Riley states gently, before watching Caedrienth walk away with so much Swag, I could swear he was a Draconic McJagger. "Don't be intimidated by him. He's a teddy bear, so best just try and keep him cuddly..."

"Why is he so..." I gesture, at a loss of words. "... Formal?... "

"He has a secret fascination and love for the old ways of speaking... He learned it from the Inheritance Cycle. Wish I never got those books for Christmas from Corporal Hines...." Riley sighs with a gentle laugh. "So yeah... Hey, I noticed some hostility between you and your dragon. What's the scoop, bro?"

I gauge his posture, and hope that I could just scam it for the time being. I was not at all in the mood to put Epson salt and alcohol in my own wound while it was still bleeding. "Well... You see, my dragoness is only a year old... And, well... She is supposedly in love with this male Light Dragon, Drako. I think I just blow-torched my bond to her, cause I'm feeling kind of sick..."

Riley's eyes widen. "Oh, shit... Don't tell me you-" And he stares, shocked. " You forbid them from being together, didn't you?... Aw, shit, dude."

"What, is that bad? She's a freaking YEAR old..." I start, and he shakes his head vigorously.

"Dude, she's gonna hate your guts... If there is one thing you don't say to your dragon, when they find their destined one... Is that they're forbidden from having their mate. You just bought yourself a first class pass to sucks-Ville, man..." he says, "However... I know something that might help. You're going to have to come with me if you don't want to feel like a zombie for the next month..."

I let out a small groan and follow Riley as he starts to walk away. He leads me through a few hallways, and we end up standing outside of a room I must have passed a hundred times. He opens the door and then smiles. "Hey, Stella. We got ourselves a Breaking Point." He says, and I blink.

Stella... Where have I heard that name before?

And then, I see this *Stella* and my eyes widen. "You!... You were on the Train with me!" I exclaim, and the younger girl laughs and grins.

"Yeah, I was about to say the same things... You're Tyler, aren't you?" She asks, and I nod. "Well, Tyler, what happened? Why is your Dragon Bond at Breaking Point?" Stella tilts her head, and I sigh.

Once I start telling her, I feel a tightness in my chest, and it gets kind of hard to breath. I don't realize I'm crying until Stella's dragon, which has an odd, puffy tail, comes over and starts dabbing my eyes with its tail tip gently, murmuring.

"Have you met Memory, yet, Tyler?" She asks softly, and I blink, before smiling.

"No, no I do not believe so... Hello, Memory..." I murmur gently to her, as I believe it was a her, and the little dragon grins and pats my cheek gently. Cute little thing. I don't realize Stella was talking until I hear her clear her throat. "Huh? -Oh, sorry..."

"It's alright... But what I was saying was that you should try and do something for Saber that she won't expect. Something that would repair the bond between you. And while you're at it... You probably should un-forbid her love for this Drako drake. Or else..."

"Or else, what?"

Stella bites her lip, a little paler than before, and Memory also pales, gulping. "Or else your bond will die..."

"That can't be too bad... I mean, can it?" I ask, frowning, and Stella gapes at me. Riley answers, and my blood goes cold.

"If your bond dies, with what you're going through?... You will essentially die."

Joy.

Hey, folks, it's the Admin here.

Looks like we're hitting a point where I gotta go on a temporary inactivity on here.

I have joined the united States Army, and come July 24th-25th, I will be unavailable. I can likely get one or two more chapters out, but after that, my account on here goes inactive until I become available once more. And by then, well, we'll see what happens. But for now, all we can do... All I can do... is hope, and pray.

I hope that you all have a pleasant rest of your day, and a Pleasant rest of your week.

Sincerely,
Admin
