|| CHAPTER-9 ||
"Yoongi hyung, what happened?" Tae came rushing to the elder who was constantly knocking over a door.
"Tae...I don't know. He just locked himself up and isn't responding. I am really worried. Please try and talk to him. Call him out, please." Yoongi stuttered, swallowing his tears and holding onto the door.
"Hush, it's okay. He is trying, okay? Let him be. It's not your fault. You did what your job demanded. You did the right thing, hyung. Jungkook was too dull throughout the entire journey. It was natural for him to explode. Let us give him some time. He will come back. Okay?" Tae pulled Yoongi into a hug and softly rubbed circles over the male's back.
"Tae...he is my everything. I can't live without him. He is the one who held me when I was breaking down. I don't want him to hurt anymore. I just want him to be happy. Is that too much to ask for?" Yoongi clutched onto Tae's shirt and broke into sobs.
"I know how important he is to you. He is the reason you joined this force. I know it all, hyung. You don't have to explain. Let's just wait and hope for the best. Okay?" Tae consoled the elder and smiled softly when he nodded against his chest.
Taehyung may look like a typical cliche dramatic queen that loves spice and fun in his life. But he is sweet when it comes to Yoongi.
He might be clueless about various skills required to pull off a mission perfectly but he has a mastered degree when it comes to learning about Yoongi.
The man is everything that Tae could ever dream of. But he isn't going to say that to Yoongi. Is he?
______
"Mimi, you should try wearing these."
"Mimi, do you want to see the shooting stars?"
"Mimi, eat this! This is the best dish here."
"Mimi, do you want me to sleep with you?"
"Stop!" Jungkook screamed, slamming his ears with his hands and pulling them in the process to just stop the voices ringing inside his head. He crouched over the floor beside the bed with his knees buried against his chest and toes curled inwards.
"Kook, what's a family?"
"Kook, what is love?"
"Kook, would you like to be my love and family?"
"Aren't you too selfish to ask for both hmm?"
"When it comes to you, I want to be the greediest person!"
"Please, stop!" Jungkook whimpered, his hands weakly hitting his ears to stop the sounds. Tears rolled down his cheek over to the floor. But he couldn't help it.
It hurt him.
And he was furious to feel this way.
To feel the same love towards the man that showed him a breath of hell and heaven at the same time.
The door clicked open slowly and a male entered the room. He slowly made his way towards the withered Jungkook that lay there struggling to breathe.
"Hey...," The male spoke softly as he brushed a few strands of hair off Jungkook's forehead.
"Who...are you?" Jungkook mumbled.
"I am Hoseok. The new intern here. You probably haven't noticed but I was there when you reached here."
Jungkook blinked slowly and pressed his hands against the floor to lift himself. Hoseok instantly grabbed onto Jungkook's shoulders and guided him towards the bed.
"Here! Have some water. Ou! And I have some crazy magic tricks to show you in case you get bored-"
"I am sorry," Jungkook whispered.
"Huh? Why are you sorry?"
"Did Yoongi send you? You don't have to do all this. I know he will be going crazy right now. Just tell him, I am fine-"
"Yoongi didn't send me! I came here, myself," Hoseok interrupted.
"What? Why?" Jungkook asked with confusion.
"Because you seemed to be an important person to him. Plus I wanted to meet you in person. I am your big fan," Hoseok confessed with his cheeks turning pink.
"I am sorry, what?"
"I know it all sounds too illogical but can't you just accept my help and help me with something?" Hoseok asked.
"Oh okay. What is it that you want to know?"
"We are heading to Melbourne the next week as an undercover agent and Yoongi is planning to take us there safely and get us back with intact bones after the mission ends. But there is one problem..."
"What is it?"
"He is way too furious and busy right now. And the only person I can count on is you. So, would you mind telling me the rest of the story?" Hoseok asked impatiently.
"What story?"
"Agent Juliet's unsuccessful mission! The only mission that you failed at. Would you like to tell me about it?"
_______
"Do you think it's a good idea to leave Hoseok with him?" Taehyung asked as he looked through the CCTV camera of the room in which Jungkook was sitting.
"Hmm," Yoongi hummed as he tapped on the keyboard to switch off the computer.
"Wouldn't it hurt Jungkook more if he talks about the past again? It's like reliving the pain." Tae countered a question as he leaned over the table beside Yoongi.
"Human being is a complicated creature, Tae. Everyone has a past and it keeps repeating inside their head like a broken tape. A man feels trapped from within with no way out. He feels cut off from his surroundings. The guilt drips down in his blood as the time ticks. He drifts away from his loved ones with the thought of being a burden to them. But little does he know that there is a way to come out of it."
"And what is that?" Tae perked up his ears towards Yoongi.
"By talking it out. Letting it all out to a person that will listen to him. And at this point, Hoseok is the best person that Jungkook can have to talk to," Yoongi rested his argument and left the room.
(A/n:- I want a Yoongi in my life too.
Also, who's excited about the story!!
And if you are curious as to how the door opened on its own when Jungkook locked it from inside.
It's simple.
Remember! Tae mentioned automatic doors?
Hoseok is a cyber spy and cracks open any doors operated through codes. It's fiction anyway. So, don't ask me for details.
I don't know!!
Hope you liked the chapter
Love you guys
