Yoongi was pacing back and forth in front of the hospital room to which Jungkook had admitted Jimin.

The door finally opened and Jungkook stepped out. Yoongi immediately rushed to the man and lifted his arms and legs to check him all around.

"Hyung, what are you...ow-" Jungkook tried to speak but Yoongi slapped his cheek lightly.

"What was that for?" Jungkook whined as he rubbed his cheek.

"Never disrespect me again in front of a stranger," Yoongi said in a stern voice.

"Fine, but please don't do that again. You almost killed him," Jungkook spoke and Yoongi nodded.

"There is something I need to ask you."

"What is it?"

"Did he tell you something about how he got locked there?"

"No, the last time I asked him he turned the topic down," Jungkook replied.

"I know you don't trust me but there is something I need to show you," Yoongi pleaded.

Jungkook wanted to refuse but Yoongi wouldn't budge. So he had to accept and follow him.

"Here, take a look!" Yoongi threw a few papers on the desk for Jungkook to go through.

"What are these...?"

"There were eighty females trapped there and we have confirmed all of their identities through our data system. Most of them were kidnapped from Korea and a few were from other countries. We requested the embassy to co-operate with us and we did find their data. But this guy..."

"He wasn't found in our data system. Is that it?" Jungkook asked as he flipped the pages of the file.

"If that was the case, I would have arrested him on the spot. It's complicated."

"What do you mean?"

"Don't you find it odd that he was the only guy in the prison? And all of them were either in a state of shock or extreme fear when they were asked to share the van with him-"

"It's all presumptions, hyung," Jungkook interrupted.

"And presumptions lead to doubts and doubts lead to the culprit!" Yoongi raised his tone.

"Are you implying that he is the boss?"

"Or at least a man that's working for him," Yoongi rested his argument.

"Hyung, he is a victim of the same case. Do you expect him to be locked up like that? What powers does he have to"

"Then how do you explain this?" Yoongi threw another file at Jungkook's chest.

"What is this?"

"Take a look at it yourself," Yoongi spoke.

"A man, whose details weren't found on our server after multiple trials, emerges on our computers magically after an hour. Don't you find this suspicious?" Yoongi questioned.

Now, Jungkook was left in a dilemma.

He couldn't decide on whom to trust.

A boy that he met a day ago.

Or a man that's been by his side for the past five years.

"You wanted evidence, right? Here, it is. Now go ask your soft little man, what he is hiding?" Yoongi informed and left the room while locking the door with a huge sound.

Ding-dong! Please pick your call~

Jungkook's phone rang in his pant pocket. He quickly pulled it out to answer the call.

"Hello?"

"Hello sir, are you the guardian of Mimi?"

"Y..yes," Jungkook was unsure of where this was leading to.

"The boy wanted to meet you and he created havoc in the hospital. Could you pleas...Yah! that's an expensive instrument. Don't break it!" With that, the call went off.

"Hello? Miss, are you okay?"

Jungkook's heart hammered against his chest at the thought of Mimi being in some kind of trouble. He rushed towards the main doors of the headquarters and sped his car towards the hospital.

"What the fuck happened here?" Jungkook asked as he tried to stabilize his breathing. He ran three floors up without waiting for the lift which was taking a bit too long.

"He isn't letting anyone in unless it's you. He has shut the doors from inside and is breaking everything that comes in his way. We tried to break the door but he panicked and threatened to fall off the window if we entered." The nurse informed worried about the boy's condition.

"I will talk to him. Could you please inform your staff to step back?" Jungkook asked softly.

"Sure, sir. Please save the kid."

"I will try my best." With that Jungkook stepped closer to the door and knocked on the door gently.

"Mimi, it's me. Could you please open the door?"

"Is it really... you?" The boy asked between his sobs.

"Yes Mimi, don't you remember my voice?" Jungkook asked gently.

"I do," Jimin spoke from the other side of the door and got off the ground to look through the small window that was fixed within the door to look at the man he dearly wished to see.

"Now please open the door. I promise no one will enter beside me. Okay?" Jungkook tried to convince as he stared at the boy who was on the verge of crying again.

Mimi nodded instantly and opened the door to jump over the guy before him. Jungkook stumbled back but gripped onto Mimi's thighs as he circled his legs around Jungkook's waist.

"Why did you leave me alone?" Mimi mumbled as he snuggled his face within Jungkook's neck and his arms gripping onto the fabric of Jungkook's back.

"I am sorry I had some urgent work to take care of. Were you scared?"

"There were going to poke me with injections. Mimi doesn't like injections. He used to poke with them too." Mimi sobbed against Jungkook's neck unable to bear the memories that flashed through his head.

"You are safe here. Okay? I promise to stay with you. Don't worry about anything. Hmm?" Jungkook tried to console the boy as he walked ahead and gently placed the boy over the bed.

"Can you promise me something too?"

"What is it?"

"You wouldn't pull out such stunts to call me here. That you will ask someone to call me. Okay?"

"Mimi promises Kook!" The boy referred to himself in the third person's point of view and pecked Jungkook's cheek.

"Wait, how did you know my name?"

"What name?"

"You just said...Kook. Only a few know my name. Besides, I gave a different name in the form used by the nurse," Jungkook said unsure of the situation.
