Author's note:This WAS supposed to be uploaded on the 7th of August and the 8th part would be on the 8th(you know,Octo Expansion has a lot of 8's),but due to my laziness,the cruise I went on,and school,I couldn't get it done.Plus,the fact that new Splatfest rules and this new event coming up called Splatoween means I might need to update it more.Anyway,let's begin!

Hmm? Where am I-oh that's right...you're still waiting to see us get to the surface,right? Well,me and Eight made it to the surface and stopped Commander TarTar from destroying Inkoplis,but we haven't gone back to Inkoplis yet.

Pearl and Marina flew me,Eight,Agent 3,and Cap'n Cuttlefish back to Inkoplis just in time for Splatfest.For those who don't know,Splatfest is an event where Inklings(and now Octolings)pick a side to be on.These can be from Dog V.S. Cat to unexpected ones like Spongebob V.S. Patrick...or weird ones like Pulp V.S. No Pulp or Fork V.S. Spoon.

After you pick a side,you get a special Splatfest Tee that you can wear for only that Splatfest.The colors of the ink are brighter than regular Turf Wars,sometimes they'll even have colors that aren't normally in the game as colors like red,white,brown and gray...unfortunately,they are Splatfest only colors...

Once the Splatfest ends,Pearl and Marina(or Callie and Marie for the original game)will count the total and decide the winner...I heard that's how Callie went missing...

Anyway,I went and chose No Pulp because drinking OJ with Pulp is disgusting...who does that?! Well apparently Eight thought so too because he chose No Pulp...either that or Pulp reminded him of-never mind...let's not bring that up...

Eight:"So,what are these "Splatfests?"

Four:"Well,you choose a side and you participate in battles similar to Turf War.After the Splatfest,Pearl and Marina will count the total and decide who wins...(Usually they end up being rigged...)"

Eight:"Wow,that sounds neat.By the way,I found this:*holds a Super Seasnail* What is it?"

Four:"That's a Super Seasnail.You get them during Splatfests when you participate in battles.You have a title,which can be from Splatfest Fanboy/Fangirl to Splatfest King/Queen.The more you participate in Splatfests,the more you'll level up you're title and you'll be rewarded more Super Seasnails."

Eight:"What do they do exactly and how do you get them when a Splatfest ends?"

Four:"Well,you just get some ability chucks or something.They're actually pretty useless and every 30 battles,talk to Judd and he'll give you one Super Seasnail."

Eight:"Ok,so I think I understand.Well,let's do this!"

During Splatfest...

Eight:"Wow! Inkoplis Square is all lit up and at night!"

Four:"Yup,So let's go and win some Splatfests!"

After the Splatfest...

Marina:"And...It's Team Pulp!"

Pearl:"Yesssss!"

Marina:"Aw man..."

Pearl:"Haha! Eat pulp!"

Marina:"Ok,even though you won,I will never eat pulp in my life! That's stuff's disgusting!"

Pearl:"Whatever..."

Marina:"If you participated in the Splatfest,make sure to return your Splatfest Tees when you can."

Eight:"That was awesome!"

Four:"I know right? And this was your first one! Well,let's get ready for the next one."
