Four's P.O.V.

After we got the first "Thang",we brought it to a old phone that the humans once used.This phone,despite being in an abandoned subway,is still operating.(Then again...most of the stuff in this subway is still operating...)

Anyway,the phone congratulated us for finding the first "Thang" and told us to find 3 more to get to the "Promised Land".It said 10,007 other test subjects have tried to make it,but failed and 10,008,or Eight is another test subject.

Oh yeah! There's this talking sea cucumber named...C.Q.Cumber who is our guide on this journey.He says this place is called Deepsea Central Station and is run by Kambo.Co.They are the ones who tested those 10,007 other subjects.Now,you may be thinking these tests are easy,but they aren't.Sure,they are short but you'll be glad they are.

Some missions require you to break the targets in a certain time limit,others require you to bring an 8-Ball to the goal and some even require you to NOT take any damage whatsoever.Sure,it's challanging,but the catch is that if say you let an 8-Ball fall off the stage or step in enemy ink,C.Q.Cumber has this little airbag-like thing that explodes any test subject who fails said mission.

It may sound like C.Q.Cumber is the villain here,but he's just doing his job...though a bit too extreme.Anyway,let's go find those "Thangs"!

After a bit of searching later,we found the next "Thang".Again,it wasn't guarded and we took it to the train.I should mention that the "Thangs" look like something...but I can't put my fin on it...

Four:"Hey,Eight.What's up?"

Eight:*sigh* "I don't know...when are we going to go to this "Promised Land" the phone keeps talking about?"

Four:"Soon"

After we brought the "Thang" to the phone,it congratulated us once again and said we needed two left.

Oh,and after we completed some of the tests,Iso Padre told us to come over to him.He was grateful that we found some Mem Cakes and gave us some Octoling gear to use once we get to the "Promised Land".

We completed some more tests and found the third "Thang".Yet again,it wasn't guarded for some reason.The third "Thang" looked like some cup-wait a minute...Nah,it's probably nothing.

After we brought the third "Thang" back,the phone again congratulated us and told us we needed one more! Finally!

Cap'n Cuttlefish said that Agent 3 hasn't shown up yet and was going to file a "missing Agent".

He asked us what Agent 3 looked like to put on the phone(though I doubt anyone would see it since this place is abandoned).

Eight:"So,what does Agent 3 look like?"

Cap'n Cuttlefish:"Hold on...there! Is this him?"

Cap'n Cuttlefish showed a picture of an Inkling Boy from Inkopolis Plaza with the old Hero Armor.Eight stared at it weirdly.

Eight:"That's him! That's Agent 3 that I fought with until something happened.Next thing I know,I'm in a test tube without my memories...however,I remember ONE memory before I blacked out.I was humming a familiar tune that changed me"

Cap'n Cuttlefish:Familiar tune..."Oh! Your talking about Calimari Inkantation.Legend has it that when the Squid Sisters played that tune to take out DJ Octavio,the Octarians and Octolings that were mind controlled by him broke free.That explains why this "Marina" person is living in Inkopolis.She's an Octoling!"

After we learned a little more about Agent 8,Cap'n Cuttlefish taped the paper to the phone and we were off to find the final "Thang" and hopefully,get out of here...
