Four's P.O.V.

Hello again.Oh,I suppose you wanted to hear about my adventure when I found that friendly Octoling(who isn't Marina).Well,I'll tell you.

It started when I was in Inkopolis Square,doing nothing.I got back from a Turf War when I wondered:"I've checked out a lot of places...but some are closed down.I wonder what secrets they can hold? Hey...I did see a weird looking subway next to where The Shoal is.Maybe that has some-oh wait,the entrance is locked behind a gate.And I can't swim through it for some reason..."

Suddenly,I saw this Inkling with a Hero Suit walking towards the gate.The suit didn't look like the one Marie gave me...I wonder...Huh? It appears the Inkling is entering a code on the gate,because the gate opened and the Inkling looked around before heading down into the subway.

Oh! The gate was closing! We Inklings aren't very fast in human form,but in squid form however...I transformed into a squid and rushed in there just as it closed.Now to see where this subway leads! I made my way down into the subway and it looked...abandoned.Now,when we Inklings came to this world,the humans were already gone.I heard it was something called "Global Warming" and we evolved into half human,half squid.We also took the land the humans made and made it new again.

When I saw that subway,it looked like when the humans were first gone and we didn't evolve.There were no humans,no jellyfish...in fact,no signs of life at-hey,what's that? It looked like a test tube(didn't know they had these in subways)but it wasn't the last human on Earth or another Judd clone...it was...an Octoling!

It wasn't just an Octoling,it was a male Octoling! I thought there were only female ones...maybe this is where they've been.I noticed that the male Octoling wasn't the only one here:There were females too,though they looked different from the ones I saw in Octo Canyon.

I decided to press the "release" button.Sure,I MAY get in huge trouble,but these Octolings don't deserve this,even if they are the "enemy".

I pressed it and the Octoling Boy fell out of the test tube.I thought he might be dead,but he opened his eyes and...they were VERY different from the little "masks" we Inklings have.To my surprise,he spoke.

OctBoy:"W-Who are you? Where am i? What is this place?"

This Octoling was just as confused as I was.Odd,he doesn't seem hostile,unlike the other Octolings I've encountered,besides Marina.Wait...both Marina and this Octoling don't have goggles...maybe my theory about the goggles making them evil was correct.

No time for thinking about theories! As soon as the Octoling was released,an alarm rang through the entire station.I'm surprised,since it looks abandoned.Suddenly,a group of Octarians came...but they weren't like the ones back in Octo Valley or Octo Canyon.They were blue-green and shot green ink instead of the purple ink I'm used to.

Good thing I brought my Hero weapons with me.I took out my Hero Splattershot and splatted one.Unlike the ones in Octo Valley or Canyon,these ones turned into a glitched mess when splatted instead of turning into ink.

I defeated them all and got these weird ticket like things as a reward.I looked at the Octoling and noticed that not only was he naked,but he had that same green ink around him.Perhaps he took damage in the process or maybe there's something more going on here...

Well,I can't just leave him naked...(that would be weird taking him into Inkopolis naked) I decided to give him some pants and my Zip Vest Jacket(or whatever it's called).

Four:"Here.Can't leave you in the nude.

OctBoy:What's this?

Four:Do you serious not remember what clothes are?

OctBoy:I can't remember anything...

I couldn't believe this! This Octoling lost his memory! Are all the Octolings like this? I decided to ask his name(even though I doubt he knows that either).

Four:What's your name?

OctBoy:My name...?

Four:Hmm...you are an Octoling and octo means 8 in Latin...sooo...Agent 8 It is! Or I'll just call you Eight.

Eight:Wow! I finally have a name! What about you?

Four:I'm Four,but my real name is Orange.

Eight:Cool! So...how do we get out?

Huh...never thought about that before...I looked back from where I came,but the entrance was locked! "Great...just squidding great!"

Wait...the tickets I got from those Octarians...I got 1,000 from them.I noticed that there was a ticket booth stand.Me and the Octoling walked over to it and I put the tickets in and suddenly we were both launched into a Octo Canyon like level!
