Jessica: What do you wanna say?

Jessica brought Ian to her room. She shut the door and faced him.

Ian: Before I say, promise me that you won't get angry

Jessica nodded. Ian took a step towards her. Jessica folded her arms.

Ian: I've known you since we were kids. I had always seen you as a friend.

Jessica: Say something I do not know

Ian: Jessica, I don't think you're making the right decision.

Jessica loosened the grip in her arms.

Ian: Born Killers is our enemy.

Jessica open the door.
Jessica: Get out

Ian: You promised that you won't be angry

Jessica: I'm not angry. I want to be alone.

Ian sighed and left the room. Jessica locked the door and sat on the bed.

Jessica: Will Mark accept me if he knew who I was?

Jessica was with Grandpa James. Grandpa James knew Jessica even before she knew him. So, Grandpa was able to recognise her the first time they met when Maverick had brought her to meet his family.

Grandpa: Ofcourse dear. He'll accept you as you are.

Jessica: You don't understand. He won't be able to see me in the same way. After all, I belong to the family which had killed his father. My father killed your son.

Grandpa: This goes on in the Underworld. But does Love have any boundaries? At the end of the day, Mark will always choose you. No matter what happens, his heart will always be yours. I know my grandson.

Jessica calmed herself down.
Was Grandpa James right? Will Maverick really accept her after finding out the truth?

There was knock on the door. Jessica walked up to the door and opened it.

Sophia: May I come in?

Jessica nodded and let her in.

Sophia: What did Ian say?

Jessica: It's not like you do not know

Sophia: Did he tell you about Born Killers?

Jessica nodded.

Sophia: So, what will you do?

Jessica kept quiet.

Sophia: Tell me the truth. Deep down, you still want someone like Maverick Williams, right?

Jessica took a deep breath and looked at her.
Jessica: No

Sophia frowned. As much as she knew Jessica, Jessica loved Maverick. Then why is she denying?

Sophia: What? But... Don't you love him?

Jessica: I love him. Not someone like him. I would always choose Mark.

Sophia: But...

Jessica took a deep breath.

Jessica: But, I feel safe when I'm with Mark. I feel powerful. He's kind to me. He's... just perfect.

Sophia: I know but... Jessica... Maverick is the enemy. You can never be with him!

Jessica: I know! I know he's the enemy. I know it's wrong! But, Love has no boundaries, right?

* In the evening*

Alex: You should speak to Jessica

Maverick was draining his fifth shot.

Mark: I'd rather die

Mia took away the bottle of whiskey.
Mia: Are you out of your mind?!

Mark: That doesn't fvcking matter!

Maverick looked at Mia.

Mark: The only way I can forget her is by getting addicted to alcohol. I've done this before, I can do it again. It may be hard, but I'll be able to forget her.

Mia looked at Albus. Maverick cannot continue this. He can't just end his life like this...

Jackson: She's back!

All the Top Agents were gathered there.

Zach: Are you sure that Agent 007 is the Boss of Titans?

Liam: Do you doubt us, Agent 010?

James: Well, he obviously didn't mean that.

Jackson coughed and looked at the eight of the agents standing in front of him. Agent 001 and Agent 007 were the only missing Top Agents.

Jackson: As Top Agents, you know how cruel Agent 007 can be...

The agents nodded their heads. They understood that it was Jessica who had killed Nicholas Miller two years back.
Nicholas Miller was sent as a spy from Titans to reach Mia. But he leaked the information to DDIA's Liam Lopez who found Mia and informed about her location to Robinson.
Jessica came to know about it and hence had killed him. The envelope which she had found out from the room had Mia's address.

Jackson: Moreover, we need to change a few things in the agency. I don't blame the gangs in this case. It's true that the agency has been playing dirty for a few decades. It's time we stop this and be clean before the common mass sense anything.

Oliver: And what do we need to to do?

Jackson: The authority consists of both good and evil. We need to make sure that the bad is put behind the bar.

Pamela: But... won't that affect the finance?

Jackson: It will. But to a certain extent. And after we succeed, all of you may not remain agents?

Isabella: What? But—

Jackson: You'll be sent to other domains to serve our country. I hope you get it

The agents nodded.

Ian: He wants to meet you

Jessica was in her office.
Jessica: Where?

Ian: In one of our lands. This evening.

Jessica: Hmm...

Ian: Do you think it's safe?

Enrique: I've the same question. It's the enemy. I think it's better for you not to go there

Jessica: Don't worry about me. I'll go

She motioned them to leave her alone. They left quietly and she sat back thinking about the meeting.

Maverick, Ryan and Daniel entered the casino where they'd decided to meet.
Loud music was being played. People were dancing, drinking, gambling, etc. 

Daniel: Are you sure that she's gonna come?

Mark: She will

Maverick sat down. Ryan and Daniel also sat down a bit far from him. Maverick took a glass of wine from the waiter. He sipped his drink, checking out a girl who was dancing in a sexy way.
People were throwing money to her as she danced.

Mark: What are you doing here?

Maverick was not pleased to see the person there.
Pamela: Accompany you. Jessica is dangerous.

Mark: And you think I'm not?

Pamela: Jessica would be able to kill you if she wants but you won't be able to. Nor can Ryan.

Pamela looked at Ryan who was shocked to see her there.
Ryan: The agency...?

Pamela: I've my ways

She smiled and lit a cigar.

Daniel: It's almost time.
He checked the time on his watch.

Pamela: I don't think she'll make on time.

??: I'm always punctual, Agent 008

The three of them, except Maverick, turned back to face the speaker.
Jessica walked upto them wearing a furry coat and high heels. Ian and Sophia followed her.

Mark: Glad that you kept your promise

Jessica: I'm not the type to break promises.

She sat beside Maverick. Ian and Sophia sat beside her, their faces expressionless.

Ryan: But you're sure the type to break hearts

Jessica lit a cigar and looked at Maverick.
Mark: So, the meeting is about...

He took a deep breath.
Mark: Why did you do this? Why did you join this gang?

Jessica: Well it's my life. I took the decision, myself, to be a part of the gang. And you're no one to question me about the decisions I take.

Ryan: You know very well that your father killed Mark's father

Ian: Isn't that normal in Underworld?

Daniel: He isn't speaking to you

Ian: Nor do I

Mark: Tell us the secret. How did you manage to rise the fallen empire?

Jessica: I've said before. It's our secret. And secrets aren't meant to be spilled.

Jessica stood up and looked at Ryan.
Jessica: There's something I need to say

Ryan raised his eyebrows. Jessica shook her head and eyed at Maverick.
She blinked her eyes once and then put the cigar back in her mouth using the index and middle finger. She stuck out her thumb prominently and itched her chin.

Jessica: Ian, Sophia. Let's go. Time's precious

Jessica walked out of the casino, the sound of her heels faded away. Ian and Sophia followed her. Maverick watched her walk away and smirked.

Ryan: Pam, leave now. It's quite dangerous for you

Mark: He's right.

Pamela rolled her eyes and then left mumbling something.

Ryan looked at Maverick and sighed.

Mark: What did she mean by ' there's something I need to say '? Whom did she mean?

Daniel: Yeah. She looked like she wanted to say something, but left

Ryan: I know what she said

Daniel: What?

"Jessica wants to meet Mark tomorrow. Only him..."
