Jungkook POV

"Lee Taeyong."

A name that could anger me any day. I took a deep breath, fury filling my veins at the mere fact that he was in my house, how dare he step foot in here? We were cousins, well, that was the relation we went by. We weren't actually, blood related.

"Whatever you're planning to do, don't fucking try it," Taeyong warned.

"Or what Yong, what are you gonna do about it?" I stepped forward, looking him eye to eye with a glare that made him feel little. "I'll kill you," Taeyong managed to utter.

"That's cute," I heard someone speak behind us. "For a daddy's boy like you to be speaking so big, it's adorable." I realised this voice behind me could only belong to Byeol. Taeyong started walking towards her, smirking at her confidence like everyone did when they first met her.

"Who do we have here?" He asked, lifting his hand to caress her cheek but she slapped it off immediately. "Why? Just a touch annoying you?" He poked her head, annoying her as a way to instigate me.

"Stop it," I clenched my jaw, more than just annoyed that he was touching her.

"And if I don't? Are you finally going to hit me?" He smirked, teasing while turning his face towards me.

"Yong that's enough," Taehyung hyung said, walking in between us as a wall to stop me from getting angry. Taeyong barged past him and stood in front of me again. "No no, he's getting angry, let him take it out," Taeyong crossed his arms.

"Hit me if you can. Bitch."

I stood still cursing under my breath, imagining so many ways to take the fucking life out of him. He laughed and took steps back to lean onto the wall.

"That's what I thought. You're nothing but my dad's dog, and the child of a-"

"Yah."

"Are you sure you wanna go there?" I said what sounded like a question, but was a warning.

His pupils shook as he backed up, revealing his true self. The only reason he acted big was because he knew I couldn't do anything, but he also knew that the day I decided to lay a finger on him. Would be the day of his death.

"Y-yah, you know that if you t-touch me, my dad will-"

"I know I know," I said, stopping in my steps to take a deep breath. His posture finally fixed, gaining confidence again.

"Mr Taeshit?" Byeol spoke amidst the silence.

"It's TaeYONG get it right," he spat out, shifting his attention towards her. "I could've been referring to Taehyung too, but I guess you knew that the only shit I could be talking about was you." She laughed at her own words. He angrily grabbed her hair, receiving a sharp glare from her and me. He immediately let go with his eyes wide.

"Those eyes... I've seen them before..."

He muttered under his breath, pretty speechless. He continued to be immersed in his thoughts, thinking deeply. He couldn't have known Byeol if she lived most her life in the North. He suddenly walked out the mansion without a word.

"What a shit start to the day," I mumbled, turning around to see Byeol finally release the pain she was having from Taeyong pulling her hair.

"You ok?" I asked, patting the top of her head.

"You shouldn't speak at times like that," I advised, she looked confused as to why I was being so nice.

"What? Do you prefer me being a dickhead?" I asked again, making her smile ever so slightly. Thinking back, I don't think I've ever seen a genuine smile from her.

Hoseok hyung dropped his fork snapping me out of my thoughts. Byeol bent down to pick it up, due to the off the shoulder type dress she was wearing, the upper half of her chest was visible.

I took a cloth and to cover it until Hoseok hyung stopped me.

"Wait, was that a gunshot wound?"

She nodded, standing up straight. "But that's where your hearts located I- how can you still be alive?" He asked again as she forced out a chuckle.

"Life won't let me go, it has a lot of suffering and torment planned for me, so don't worry,"

"I won't die that easily."

She said, placing his fork back into his hand before walking off.

"Yoongi, get a background check done on her, there's something about her I don't like," Hoseok hyung spoke, tightly holding the fork she'd given him.

Byeol POV

Background check my foot. Go on kids, try all you want.

You'll never find it.

"Miss?" I heard a voice behind me. I turned around to find a maid.

"Mr Jeon wanted you to handle these files," she said, handing me a stack of papers with a note on top.

- It's about time you start doing real secretary work ;) - JK

I rolled my eyes, he was acting as if saving all their asses yesterday wasn't 'real secretary work.' I walked up the stairs and back into the room I had woken up in. I set the papers down onto the desk, plopping down onto the chair.

I sorted out the files for god knows how many hours before my eyes began to get heavy, and I fell asleep.

*Dream*

"Excuse me? Are you ok?" I heard a voice speak. I lifted my head, looking up at the figure with red swollen eyes. "Do I look like I'm ok?" I rolled my eyes, pushing him away. He looked about my age, but he was obviously richer than me, wearing a cotton fitted shirt, while I was struggling to fully cover my body with my ripped clothes.

"I heard about your parents escaping," he spoke again.

"Hasn't everyone? I get it ok. I was abandoned. Stop bringing those people up," I replied tiredly. These past few days we're exhausting, factory labour was not for children my age, my petite body can't handle it.

"Actually, I think it's cool, I wish my parents would abandon me," he fiddled with his fingers making me scoff in disbelief. "Be careful what you wish for," I told him, getting up before walking off.

"Where are you going?" I heard his footsteps crunch the leaves below us as he followed behind me. "To the orphanage," I responded, another tear falling from my eye. Gosh how pathetic I am.

"No don't cry, let me come with you," he wiped my tear, intertwining his hands with mine, I tried to pull away but he wouldn't let me.

"Why would you go to an orphanage when you have parents?" I asked, finally giving up on trying to let go. "Because, it's not like they've ever acted like my parents. I would rather pretend they didn't exist." He replied, giving me a clearly sad smile. We walked closer to the orphanage factory when he finally let go of my hand.

"Let's be friends, I'm Jaechan, what's your name?" He asked, holding out his hand for a handshake."What's your first name?" I questioned.

"K- Jung, it's Jung Jaechan," he stuttered before smiling, I finally accepted his handshake. "I'm Byeol, Kim Byeol," I replied. "I'll call you Yeol. That's your nickname, only I'm allowed to call you that ok?" He said, I smiled for the first time in days, nodding my head. Someone screamed his name as we both turned around.

"Oh? I'll see you again, soon."

"Bye Yeol-ah!"

"Don't leave..."
-

"Wake up Yeol, we have a mission to finish."

My eyes flickered open, closing shut tight again as they weren't adjusted to the bright light. I could only sigh at the dreams, my past just won't leave me alone. Stealing the peace of my sleep with memories I don't want to remember. Cruel.

I rubbed my eyes, finally opening my eyes properly to see Jungkook smiling at me, wearing a tuxedo. Now properly awake, I remembered something.

"What did you call me?" I spoke with a tone filled with an emotion even I didn't recognise.

"Yeol? It's a cute nickname don't you think-"

"Stop," I said, covering my face in frustration. Why did he remind me of him so much?

"Stop what?" He asked, obviously confused.

I shook my head and sat up properly.

"Nothing, when do we leave for the wedding?" I asked, changing the topic.

"In about half an hour-ish, I'll have the maids get you ready," he replied, getting up to leave, I grabbed his hand out of the blue, surprising myself.

Butterflies.

I felt them again.

Just at his touch I felt electrocuted, a beautiful fairytale like feeling I wished to last for eternity. It's just the effect of the drug. Just the effect of a forced love.

"What? Don't want me to leave?" He chuckled.

He pulled me up from my seat, leaning in close to the point where I could feel his hot breath run past my lips.

"Jungkook- oh, was I interrupting something?" Jin asked, awkwardly leaving the room.

"Wait!" He screamed, running after him, leaving me alone in the room. I put my hand on my heart, feeling it beat faster than the speed of a train. It felt so good.

Love was quite literally a drug, and in this moment, I'd like to overdose.

Suddenly, the maids ran in pulling me into the dressing room. I didn't have time to speak, before they started helping me to take off my clothes.

"Isn't this like rape? Can you guys chill?" I said, trying to cover up a little, clearly uncomfortable to being close to naked in front of about 10 maids. After struggling to wear the dress they pushed me out to the dressing table.

"We only have 15 minutes till they need to leave!" They screamed, pulling out a whole makeup kit. I shut my eyes in irritation, everything was happening so quickly.

"And we're done," they collapsed in tire, Jungkook really has them on edge huh. Worse than me.

I walked down the stairs carefully, I hadn't worn heels in ages. The boys were doing their own things, while Jungkook was no where to be seen.

They all looked up, squinting to make sure it was actually me.

"Where's Jungkook?" I asked. They all just stared with their mouths dropped open, so I waved a little to snap them out this little trance.

"He's waiting o-outside," Taehyung informed, clearing up his throat after realising he had stuttered. I walked outside to see him sitting on his motorbike.

"Ready to crash a wedding?"
