an: I know this story was on a very long absence from updates but I assure you it will be receiving more now.

(Korra POV).

Arriving in republic city I was in awe at the magnificent sight that greeted me. Large buildings far larger than the igloos of the southern water tribe or the tents of the white lotus.

I was still mesmerized that I didn't notice Naga accidentally bump into a citizen.

"Hey watch it." The man says angrily.

"Sorry." I reply.

Growling the man walks off eventually as we're strolling through the streets I see a man on a platform taking to a crowd.

"The bending tyranny must come to an end. Republic city was built to stand as a place where benders and non benders could gather together as one.

However the council has made it clear who has power the bending Tyrants.
It is time for the ordinary people to rise up.

Come join the equalists and stand as one against  all who seek to oppress us and remove our equality." The man decalred as cheers soon followed.

I was about to March up and give that man a piece of my mind but stopped myself when some cops approached and began interrogating the man I could tell he was nervous about what they were saying.

With a smug grin me and naga continued our self proclaimed tour of the city.

After walking for another hour naga's stomach began to growl and we went looking for food. However as soon as we found one Naga just started eating the stuff and the shop owner was none to pleased.

"Hey no free service pay up woman." He demanded holding out his palm.

I was about to tell him I had no money when I Saw a commotion and saw what looked like gang Members rob a store.

"Hey what are you doing." I demanded getting in front of them.

"It's none of your concern girl get out of the way." Their leader demanded.

"You're robbing from innocent people I think that's pretty avatar business to meddle in." I retorted.

"The avatar huh." One of them says Slyly. "The empires been looking for you and if we turned you in the reward we would get would be far more than what a few pocket change stores have." He said getting into a fire bending stance.

Staring defiantly at them we began to fight.

However I could tell they were sloppy as I ducked and weaved in between their attacks. Retaliating where I could.

Eventually we heard air ships overhead and metal Benders descended from cables and landed.

The criminals ran but I was surprised when instead of pursuing them they cuffed me
And Naga.

We were then Dragged to the prison and I was seated across Lin Beifong Daughter of Toph beifong.

And much like her mother she was a grump.

"What are you doing in my city avatar." She demanded angrily.

"I'm here to learn airbending from tenzion." I replied honestly.

"I don't care first chance I get your either going in a cell or your going back to the south." She growled.

I was about to retort when two individuals entered the room.

"Thank you for that speech ms Beifong But we will be taking Korra with us." A man says besides Tenzin.

"Elder Kolsen." Lin growled. "I thought the council made it clear the white lotus wasn't welcome here or the Empire." She said.

This surprised me I was under the impersonal the entire world belonged to Shou-long.

"It matters not Lin especially when the avatar is concerned as you know it's the white Lotus duty to ensure she is trained. And that's what we will do." He said arrogantly

I could tell Lin was fuming but then she smirked as if an idea came to her head.

"I'm giving you two options either A. The avatar stays under Tenzions Care.
Or B. I hand her over to the imperial Embassy. Take your pick elder." Lin Says growling out the title elder like it was poison.

Frowning at the CHEIF of police the elder was about to retort when thankfully for me Tenzien beat him to it.

"She'll stay with me." I said hurriedly I could see the elder silently fume but I knew he couldn't do anything.

I was then Released and sent to Air temple island.

I smiled though looking forward to what adventures I would have in the future.

(Tenzien POV Evening).

As Korra settled down in her room I couldn't help but smile. Even if she was more  Headstrong than my father I could tell her only desire was to help the world and I respected that.

I decided to review what I would teach her but as I pulled out some scrolls elder Kolsen stormed into my office.

"Tenzien you know the avatar is under white Lotus jurisdiction I will decide what she will be trained in." He said angrily.

I once believed in the white lotus but something Had occurred that made them more arrogant something I didn't know about. But I cared for Korra deeply and I knew that the white lotus would Only hold her back.

"Elder Kolsen so long as she lives here she will be under My care and that's final." I said firmly.

Growling the man storms out of my study.

After he leaves I turn to a photo on my desk and smile at it.

The photo was taken when Korra was young.

'Happy times back then I can only hope for many more in the future with Korra helping us Father.' I said to the photo.

(3rd Person POV).

Late at night a cruise ship arrives in republic city and as it docks 6 republic officers approach it.

Walking down the ramp the officers salute the figure.

"Inspector Reyna to what do we owe the Honor of the Empires most accomplished Investigator." The Sergeant says in greeting.

Reyna just smirks at them. "I think you know what I want I'm here to see the chief at once." Reyna orders
