Soulmates in this realm are the equivalent of a 'true love'.

In a world without magic, you will never know if you have met your soulmate(s) or not. There are no marks or any indications that someone has soulmates in the real world (without magic), other than a want to be with the person or persons. Now in other universes (ex: The Enchanted Forrest; Neverland) there will be Soulmarks because magic is active there. They are the other soulmate(s) initials in black on their left wrist.

With magic, when you meet your soulmate(s) or true love(s) you instantly know. The black initials on the wrist will turn gold, the whole world stops alone you, and a golden band of light will surround the two at the moment of meeting.

Magic can also be used to find your true love(s). Whether you want to find the soulmate(s) or check to see if the bond is real. It can track them or make magic turn black, signaling that they're not a soulmates/true love.

Children born from soulmates will always have a soulmate(s). Where as everyone else only has a 50/50 chance to have a soulmate(s).
