Chapter 27: Their Royal Highnesses

Walking through the palace halls was never something I would of expected to ever happen in my life, yet here Gene, Veronica and I were. Luanne of course was so disappointed she couldn't make it, but we promised to tell her all about it later.

The guard suddenly stops and knocks on one of the double white doors, which I assume would be the Queen's sitting room.

Lutalo being such a gentleman helped me with getting the Queen's personal number, only I didn't expect her to allow me to come meet her the exact next day.

"Lady Agatha Phillia is here your majesty!" He announces.

"Let my darling in!" Her majesty's excited voice is heard, bringing smiles on all of our faces. The guards pulls open the door, gesturing for us to enter.

Upon entering we are meet with the joyous faces of her majesty and her daughters, excluding Maliana of course.

"It's truly a pleasure your highnesses." We bow.

"Oh please it is quite alright." She walks over to me; the emerald green gown looking truly gorgeous on her.
"When my darling Lutalo told me you seek to talk to me, I honestly could not have been more happier." She takes hold of my hands, smiling fondly at me.

"I understand why the man is smitten." I smile, as she lightly taps my cheek.

"Okay girls." She claps her hands, turning to look at her daughters.
"Say your greetings and then leave Agatha and I to speak."

"Oh mother! You are keeping her all to yourself!" Princess Liliana whines and they all laugh.

"Chop chop." She orders and they all fall into fits of giggles, coming towards me.

"It is such a pleasure to meet you Lady of Desire. I am Susiana."

"The pleasure is mines Princess."

"Oh! I absolutely adore you and Lutalo's relationship. You both deserve each other." I chuckle lightly, giving my thanks.

"Oh Susi, move now."

"I am Ariana, a pleasure my Lady." I shake her hand.
"A pleasure to meet you both as well." She kindly smiles at Gene and Veronica.

"Okay girls out now." They giggle, smiling at me once more before leaving the room.

Abiana stops in front of me, and I smile at her.
"Truly great to see you again, my lady."

"You as well."

"Maybe after speaking to mother, we can have tea together."

"Actually...can I speak to you as well? If you are not preoccupied." She glances back at her mother, and then back at me.

"Mother and I?" I nod.

"If possible."

——

"I'm not quite poetic Lady Agatha. I fear I may not be able to give you the proper material." Adiana says and I nod in understanding.

"I completely understand. There truly is no pressure what so ever to the agreement. The moment is simply a matter of allowing yourself to freely express your inner desires."

"Will names be stated?" The Queen asks.

"Initials only we have decided, however if you decide against it, we can arrange a particular pen name or simply anonymous will do." Gene responds for me.

They glance at each other, having a conversation with their eyes.

"Are we to write now or do we have time to work on it?" Abiana says and I nod, smiling as hope fills me.

"Of course. Though I will need it in a week's time. We are trying to keep within the scheduled release timeframe." They both nod.

"I know you are lavish and adorned in wealth your highnesses, yet I must be the one to ask." Veronica voices, turning all attention to her.
"Would you be acquiring payment for your poem?"

Gene shakes her head, while I chuckle softly.

"Oh please darling. That's quite unnecessary." The Queen replies.
"As said, we are adorned in wealth. It's simply an honor to be considered to be apart." Veronica looks to me and smiles brightly.

I know she could not be more happier by the news.

"I'm truly grateful your highnesses." I rest my hand on my chest in gratitude.

"Oh dear it's-"

"I cannot believe this mother!" We all look towards the entrance, Princess Maliana coming to stand at the center of the room. The Queen and Abiana made no move to stand so neither did we.
"How dare you both fraternize with the enemy."

"No one is your enemy dear sister."

"Yes she is. She took Lutalo from me, basically hypnotized him with her disgusting lustful ways!"

"Maliana." The Queen softly warns her, but she doesn't take heed.

"No mother! How dare you two do this to me! How can you both be fond of this literate whore!"

"MALIANA!" The queen shouts, standing to her feet.
"I will not tolerate it any longer."

"But mother-"

"To your room this instant." She points towards the door. Maliana glares at her mother for a brief moment, but the narrowed gaze of her mother cause her to turn and she storms out the room.

"I am deeply sorry for her behavior Agatha dear. It is not your fault Lutalo loves who he loves." She remorsefully spoke, sitting back down, glancing at her other daughter.

"I understand your majesty. I hold no anger towards her."

"Well you should." Abiana says and her mother shoots her a look.
"Sorry."

The Queen shakes her head, unamused.
"I wonder what it would be like if I had all boys."

"High testosterone levels, arguments over the most idiotic things, hoping that they marry a decent girl, and not become manwhore's that give birth to illegitimate babies. Oh! And praying they have decent sibling relationships and not fight over who should sit on the throne." Adiana rambles off, making us all look at her amused.

"Truthfully, I don't think it'd be so." The Queen states.

"Really?" I inquire and she nods.

"I think they'd simply be the male version of these already troublesome young women." We all begin to laugh.

——

I sat under the gazebo, while Gene and Veronica played croquet with the other princesses and her majesty. I'm not much of a gamer, but it was nice to watch them all play.

"You know..." I glance behind me, to see the prince. He moves to sit on the chair opposite of me.
"I've never seen Mother and Liliana lose at this game."

"Is that so?" He nods.

"They are the family's reigning champion duo." I chuckle, glancing back at them as Gene and Veronica cheer as they hit one of the things again.

"Oh I never thought I'd see the day mother and Lili lost!" Princess Ariana says, and they all laugh at their mother and sister's angered faces.

"Rematch!" Princess Liliana shouts.

"I guess it's only right that I be the one to do this." The Prince says and I look to him confused.

"What may that be?" He smirks.

"Lutalo has a soft post for vanilla ice cream." My eyes furrow in amusement.

"Really?" He nods.

"I have no clue as to why, but sometimes he'll just crave it at the most random of times. One time we were fighting against the rival enemy and we managed to kill a few soldiers and he turned to me and said. "I deserve an entire gallon of vanilla ice cream for this." I couldn't hold my laugh in any longer, covering my mouth with my hand to at least keep my etiquette.

"Did he really?" He laughs himself, nodding.

"Don't let his strong demeanor fool you either. He has the softest of hearts, and is caring in every sense of the word." I softly smile, resting my hand back on my lap.

"Why do I feel like there's a warning there." He chuckles, shaking his head.

"I have no reason to warn you of not hurting him, and what not. I know it won't be a matter, because of the connection you both have."

"You seem confident of us."

"Aren't we all? He has never had interest in any woman before, always focused on taking care of his mother, fulfilling his duty, and protecting his comrades and people...It's nice to see him giving himself a chance at something other than war."

"His mother claims he has liked me since he first laid eyes on me." He chuckles, nodding his head yes.

"He acted all poised as we passed you. But the moment we got to the castle, he sought out to find information about you." I smile brightly at his revelation.
"I had never seen him so enthusiastic about anything other than war before. He would of honestly advanced earlier if we didn't have to leave once more, but he fought harder than ever those years to get peace, so that he can finally approach you and not have to worry about leaving soon after."

"Three years?"

"Worth the wait isn't it?" I chuckle, nodding my head. I guess he's right.

"Believe nothing he says." That familiar deep voice fills my ears, and we both look behind us at Lutalo, a smile subconsciously blooming onto my lips.

"Believe my every word. He is an absolute cry baby." Prince Edwin jests, quickly getting up before Lutalo can reach him.
"I'll go be with mother and they." He runs off, laughing.

"I didn't know you would be here today." He sits in the Prince's former seat.

"Neither did I. The Queen invited us almost immediately. I hadn't gotten time to let you know." He nods in understanding.

"I have my poem ready at home for you." I raise an eyebrow at him, chuckling lightly.

"I would believe you were inviting me for other motives as well My Lord." I look back towards the others.

"I have no reason to sugarcoat my desire for you." I turn to him, resting my elbows on the table, leaning my body slightly forward to him.

"Is that so?" He mirrors my posture, leaning forward as well. His eyes held nothing but truth in them, and that was something I couldn't help but find immensely attractive.

A man who is not afraid to show his infatuation towards the woman he desires...truly arousing.

"If I wanted to taste you my love, I would boldly say and do so." He says, taking ahold of my hand. My treasure twitches in anticipation at his words, and I pull my hand away from his, turning back to the front.

Gene and the others quickly look away and I softly laugh, shaking my head at them.

"Is that what you desire?" I hear him ask and I glance at him, our eyes locking for a brief moment before I force myself to look away again.

Scenes of said act begins to play off in my mind, and I shift in my seat, trying to calm myself.

The imagery was simply too exciting, that now my treasure craves the fulfillment of the vision in my mind of his face lost between my thighs.

"I'll take your silence as a yes." I look back at him, surprised to see him walking towards me, and coming to kneel directly in front of me.

"You my Lord, will cause this Lady to lose her mind." I softly whisper, cupping his face and he chuckles. He places his hand over my right hand, bringing to forward slightly to place a soft kiss to my palm.

"I am a man who is not afraid to proclaim his desire or love for his woman; and I hold no shame if the world witnesses it either."

My word.
