-It's Taehyung.

He confirmed her. Juli sighed deeply. She didn't think she would meet him today. But if he's here, where's Jungkook?
Usually, Jungkook opens the door when she's back home. He doesn't let Tae open the door or flirt with his mom. But Tae doesn't care at all. He's like that with every girl, woman. He's a playboy after all.

Juli was about to ask him where Jungkook is, but he gestured her to stop.

   -I know, what you gonna say, my love.

Juli raised one of her eyebrows. Yes, he's a flirty one but he never calls her 'His Love' or something like that. So, Juli was shocked.

   -He's being quite dramatic today...

She thought it in her mind.

   -Your son is sleeping right now.

Juli glanced at her hand watch and it's  2 pm already. It's not time for him to sleep. Strange...

   -Oh really?

Taehyung sighed deeply. Then he looked at her and told her dramatically,

   -Oww... don't you believe in me, my love?

Juli got angry this time.

   -Kid, I'm not in a fun mood so...

He put his index finger on her lips to stop her. Juli rolled her eyes. He brought his face closer to her ears and whispered in a deep voice ,

   -Trust me.

Then he stepped aside, bringing his face back. He smirked seeing her looking at him like a dumb.

   -He's really sleeping. Come, let me show you.

He grabbed her hand and brought her inside the home. He locked the door.

   -He's in his room.

Taehyung told her, without even turning around to see her face. Juli rushed towards his room. Her mind was telling her there's something wrong. Something happened with Jungkook. And she was right. When she entered the room, she found Jungkook  lying on the bed sleeping , with bandages all over his hands and legs, also some bruises marks on his face. Seeing him in this state, Juli's eyes got teary. She was about to rush towards him but Tae grabbed her hand and dragged her out of the room.

    -Ah...lemme go...

Juli was about to push him. Tae quickly  made her sit on the couch and poured some water in a glass. He handed her the glass.

   -Drink it...

Juli looked up to see his face. He was looking down at her with no expression on his face. Juli took the glass and drank it. She handed him the glass. Tae put the glass on the table. Then he sat down beside her.

   -He got beaten up by some bad boys.

Juli's eyes widen. Jungkook isn't the type who gets into these things. Then what happened?
Tae tapped her shoulder gently. Juli looked at his dark bangs hiding his dark black eyes.

   -But don't worry, he's alright now. He just needs some rest and he'll fine in a few days.

Tae told her. 'Don't worry!' 'He's alright?!'... really?! Her son got beaten up so badly by some bad boys, and he got bruises marks on his face and this kid is telling her not to worry, how cool, isn't it?
Juli was about to vent her anger on him and suddenly, he got up from the couch as if sensing what she was about to say. She was sitting there, all alone, thinking about what  happened at the school when she smelled something delicious is cooking. She closed her eyes and tried to feel the delicious smell coming from the kitchen.
"A strong smell of garlic and ginger, Smell of hot pepper spice, anchovy sauce" - isn't it Kimchi Jjigae?!
She shut opened her eyes.
It reminded her of Jin. She used to feel this smell when Jin  cooked Kimchi Jjigae for her. And then, after she lost him , she never got to feel that delicious smell. How can it be possible? Jin is not here, then?
Juli got up from the couch and headed towards  the kitchen.

   -Who is cooking?

She whispered. And she was shocked when she found someone standing, there, cooking Kimchi Jjigae. And not only the smell seemed familiar but also the way he was standing was quite similar to Jin. Is it Jin?
Juli stepped back and her shoulder got hurt by the door frame  of the kitchen. But she didn't care... she was so shocked, breathing unevenly,  still staring at the person standing there. The person straightened his back and then gasped,

   -Why are you shocked, my love?

That deep husky voice, Taehyung!! How can that be possible? She just saw an image of Jin in Tae... she never saw anything like that  in Jungkook. She even thought Jin has returned to her, after so many years. If Tae hadn't spoken, she would have screamed out Jin's name. She controlled herself somehow.

    -No... it's just my imagination.

She tried to make herself understand it. She took a deep breath and then released it.

   -Why are you cooking, kid?

Tae glanced  at her over his shoulder. Then he smirked.

   -My best friend wanted to eat Kimchi Jjigae.

He told her while serving her the kimchi jjigae in a plate. Juli smiled even she didn't know why.

   -Thank you, kid.

These words escaped her mouth.  Tae was looking straight into her eyes as if trying to search something. A silence took over the kitchen that is when they heard Jungkook calling Tae from his room. They glanced at the door of his room. As soon as Juli heard him calling Tae, she rushed towards his room and found him trying to get up from the bed. She quickly grabbed him and made him sit resting his back on the headboard of the bed.

   -Mom, you're back?

Jungkook tried to bring a smile on his face. Juli pulled him into her embrace.

   -My lil bunny, who did this to you?

Juli's voice cracked. How can someone beat up a cute boy like him? And why would they do that??

   -Some bad boys... they beat me up so badly. If Tae hadn't saved me,...

   -Now, come on, no need to thank me too often...

Tae interrupted. They turned their heads towards him and saw him standing on the door step, with a tray in his hands. He stepped inside and walked towards his bed, placed the tray on the bedside table. Juli glanced at it; there's a bowl of vegetable soup, a glass of water and some medicines.
Jungkook looked up at him and gestured him to sit down beside him. Tae sat down on the floor and held his hands.

   -Why on floor?

   -Doesn't matter.

Tae told him. His eyes darkened.

   -Whoever tried to do it, will not do such thing to anyone, ever again. So, don't be afraid, okay?

Jungkook nodded his head like a kid.
A smile formed on the corners of Tae's  lips. Jungkook glanced at his hands and his eyes widened.

   -Oh my God, Tae, you didn't apply anything on that?

Tae smiled. Juli looked at his hands too and her eyes widened too, covered her mouth with her hands in shock.

   -How can you be that much careless, huh?

Jungkook yelled  at him. He was still having that smile on his face. Juli got up from the bed and went to her room  to bring first aid box. She can't see anyone in pain. And when she returned she found only Jungkook in that room.

   -Where's your friend?

   -He just left.

   -Why?

Jungkook sighed deeply.

   -He knew that you're going to aid him. And he doesn't like the idea of anyone being too caring towards him.

Juli's heart softened. She didn't know this side of that kid. Although he seems heartless playboy who doesn't have feelings towards anyone, in reality, however, he needs love and care.

   -You know, he beaten up those boys to death cos they tried to hurt me.

Juli's eyes widened.

   -Really?

   -Yeah... and he brought me here,  called a doctor, bought medicines for me and even cooked the lunch as well.

   -Oh my... but where did you get that much money?

Jungkook was thinking the same.

   -Umm... maybe he had money with him. And he even called you too, but couldn't reach you over phone.

Juli sighed.

  -My phone was dead. So sorry...

And then they heard Jimin and Lisa giggling, they are back home now.

   -Go now, take a shower, sweetie.

   -Yea...uncle Jimin. You wait for me, please. If I find you eating without me, I won't talk to you, remember this.

Jimin chuckled loudly.

  -Relax, I'm not gonna eat without you. Now go...

Lisa smiled and headed towards her room. Jimin smiled and then he found door of Jungkook's room being opened, meaning he's inside. So, he walked towards the room and when he stepped into the room, his eyes widened, he covered his mouth with his hands seeing Jungkook in that condition and Juli helping  him to have some medicines.

   -Who did this to you?!

They turned their heads to look at him. Jimin quickly reached his bed and sat down beside Jungkook. He touched his cheek. Jungkook's eyes got teary when he touched. Seeing him like that, Jimin screamed his lungs out making both Juli and Jungkook flinched. They never seen him getting that much angry  before.

   -Who did this to you?! That Taehyung?!
