As the rain poured heavily, a purple-toned fox trotted through the woods as she carried her two cubs.

her eyes gleamed sadly as she spotted a den up ahead, with a heavy heart she padded up to it and placed her two daughters on the entrance "I'm so sorry..." she nudged her cubs sadly as one of them yipped at her touch.

she turned around but before she left she gave one final sorrowful glance at them and left.

meanwhile inside, a ginger vixen slept inside the den before waking up to the sounds of yelps "what?" she blinked the sleep out of her eyes as she yawned, as she got up the yelping got louder..."are those cubs?" she said as she poked her head out of the den.

her eyes widened as she saw the two cubs outside of her den, a blue and pink one, she looked around for any signs of parents but saw nothing...

with a sigh she scooped up the cubs in her jaws and carried them both inside.
