"A little higher.A Little higher.A tiny bit more.There, Perfect."

I told Lapis as she move the last pink curtain to the wall that hang at two parts.Lapis is slowly flyed down next to me.She landed on the ground and made her water wings disappeared.She smiled and asked

"Is that the last one?"

I glanced around the ball room for one last check for any curtains missing.I smiled by saying

"Yeah,that's the last one!Thanks for your help!"

Lapis put my hand in my hair and said

"Anything for you Steven."

Lapis spout her wings and flyed off.I watched her go by and saw Pearl came up next to me.I turned around to her to see her with a clipboard and a headmic of her right side.She was looking down at it as she asked

"Is everything in the ballroom and throneroom set for tonight?"

I smiled and respond

"Yes...Oh I have to change something."

I grab the clipboard and flip through the paper to guests.I saw a name under my.I grab at the pen out of Pearl's hands.I put it over the name as I stare that name.I close my eyes and inhale.I been thinking about this for hours.I convinced and unconvinced myself about this, but now I know with confidence that I'm ready to make this change.I x out the beautiful name and put another beautiful name.I gave the clipboard and pen back to Pearl.She looks at the changed I made.She gave a unsure expression as she asked

"Are you sure about this change?I mean you wanted her to your honor guest for a while."

I noded and respond

"I'm sure"

She sighed and let go of the paper as it float down to the clipboard.She put the pen the clipboard as she walked back up the pink crystal stairs.Garnet came up to me as I looked up at her.She grins and said

"I got the music ready for the party and the dance with your honor guest"

I blushed and chuckled nervously.I asked curiousily her for the hundred time

"Good...also how is Y/N back little homeworld?"

She sighed.She adjusted her glasses.She said calmly

"She doing just fine,Steven.You know Bismuth,Lapis,and Peridot are helping her to open up a bit more.She'll be fine."

I glanced away for her as said

"I know,I know I'm just worry about her.I don't want her to feel like she doesn't belong.

"WWWWAAAAAAAOOOO!!"

I cheered while I was riding on a silver metal trash can lid.The lid was soaring in the sky like a lightning bolt.The cool wing flying pass my face and hair.The white cloud trails that followed when I pass through.Soon the lid brought me down to little homeworld.Little homeworld was started to be in the making as only the beams and floors were placed down.I get off the lid as Peridot was waiting for me.I bubbled

"That was so much fun Peridot,thanks you"

I beamed from ear to ear as the mid-morning sun glimmered in the sky.Peridot grins and said

"Your welcome,Its improves your trust towards me,the relationships between us,and your character development."

I raise one eyebrow and titled my head to my left shoulder.I asked

"What's my character development?"

She looks at me and sighed

"It your development as a person."

I lowered my eyebrow and straightened my head.I realized what she ment and said

"Oooohhhh,Got it"

I hold a thumbs up at her as I heard a voice behind

"Hey Y/N"

I turned my head to see who it was.My eyes light up as I fully turned around.I said

"Hey Connie."

She waves at me as her black jacket follwed with her hand.A blue t-shirt hide under her jacket.Blue shorts were over her hips and above the knees.Red tennis shoe were covering her feet and white and two-red stripe socks cover her ankles.She walks up to me

"I was wondering maybe you want to go shopping for the party tonight?"

She asked me kindly as I looked down embarrassed.I don't like the idea of peoe staring at you.Be judge be ever move you make.I don't know if I'm ready for that but I have too.I have to do it for Steven.He did so much for me.I have to show at less some appreciation for the things he has do to me and the whole galaxy.I eyed her at her with a little hesitation in my eyes

"I would love too beside I don't have anything else then what Steven gave me."

She grin a little as she said

"Wonderful.Lets go!"

She grabs my hand and called Lion.He appeared through a portal.He walks over to me and Connie.Connie hops on him as I take a step back.My face expression become to be unsure about him still.He press his head gently under my left arm.I giggled a little and pet his soft pastel pink mane.I soon hopped on Lion,behind Connie.I put my hands around her waist.Connie commend

"Lion,Take us to the store"

I waiting for Connie to bring me dresses to try out.I was only in my bra and underwear.I shirred a little as cool air conditioner breezed air through the store.A knock came upon my white changing room door.I opened the door a little bit just enough that only my head peaked out.I saw Connie with a grin upon her face as four dresses lay on her arm.Connie told me

"I got some dresses for you to try out.I hope you'll like my taste"

She hands me the dresses and I try on the first one

It was It perfectly fit my body.I was speechless on how I went from a nobody to a somebody in a single dress.I step out to show Connie.I grab on the transparent fabric with my dominant hand.I twirl around for a second.I let go of the fabric and asked quietly

"What you think?"

She smiles at me and said

"I think it looks beautiful on you."

I blushed a little and head back in to try on a second one.

The two piece surprisely fit me quite well especially the top.The neck strap don't cause me to choke.The bottom didn't slip at all.I step out again as dress trails behind.I intertwine my finger together and hold my hand together in front together.I slightly grin at Connie as her eyes light up.She smiles and said

"Its absolutely gorgeous Y/N!"

I smiled and blushed once more.I head back in and change my dress to the third dress on.

The dress was more complicated but It somehow fit me nicely.The cup size of was the perfect cup size.The skirt always turned when I ever turn.I grab the front of the skirt so I don't trip on it.I step out again.Once I stand at one place,I let go of the skirt.I saw Connie jaw drop in amazement.She said

"That absolutely perfect of you"

I blushed again as I smile shyly.It walk back in the dressing room and changed into the final dress.

It was most simplest one if all the dresses.The top part had a simple design.The fabric belt was shiny but not that it blinds you.I step our as I hold the dress skirt up so I don't trip.I let go of the skirt and saw Connie's eyes had stars in them.She told me

"I love it love it love it on you!"

This time my face went completely red and I rushed back to the dressing room.I put on my normal clothing and decided the dress I wanted the most.I stare at all of them as they were on their hangers.I decide to go with the D/N(Dress Number).I pick up the dress my choice with my left hand as I put the other three on my right arm.I came put and said

"I pick the dress I wanted"

She smiles and told me

"You pick a gorgeous choice.Let pay and get ready.Also,don't worry I'll bring you jewelry,do your hair,and bring you heels."
