Aftermath: 10

Trying to change in the ridiculously small space which was meant to be considered as the toilet was a mission, a real mission. So far nothing had proven as much of a struggle than trying to figure out just where to place things that wouldn't end up going somewhere they shouldn't.

Lenora was more than certain that there was a lot of echoed curse words resounding into the cabin. It was okay though, it was more than clear that her companions couldn't understand Russian. She was more than safe from being called out. Though in her eyes she was totally justified to stand and curse, this was utterly ridiculous.

It got worse as when she did reappear, pulling on a rather simple black baggy beanie on her head and collapsing in a seat with a heavy sigh did something else get slid in her direction. With an over dramatic groan she sat herself more upright and twirled the small thing around in front of her.

She looked questionably up at Moira, who had yet again been the giver of gifts. She didn't so much as give a verbal response, but rather she pointed up to her eyes. Lenora tilted her head and popped open the case, she scrunched her nose up.

"Oh come on...why am I the only one getting kitted out with this stuff?" Lenora asked and looked about, true she seemed to be getting the most stuff given to her. But that wasn't to say the others weren't changed and prepared for the change in weather and general surroundings.

"Because not all of us have orange eyes."

"Amber."

"Not much difference," Erik said while tilting his head to the side and looking across the aisle to her. Lenora frowned his way. "You wanted to come." He leaned across the empty chair beside him and whispered this at her as Moira stood previously and disappeared into the cockpit where she commenced talking to the pilot.

"But I won't look like me." Lenora said sadly while looking to the case with a frown. She looked back up at Erik, he was looking at her with some small amount of sympathy.

"It will only be for an hour, if that. And plus, disguise or not, it isn't exactly going to change you really, is it?" He asked while leaning back and looking out of the small window. He minutely listened to the chatter from the cockpit, Charles was in there too for some reason which was lost to him. Just leave the pilot to his job, he knew what he was doing, and where they needed to go. He knew Charles was just being careful and cautious, but really...Erik's musings promptly came to a stop when the seat beside him got occupied. He looked simply down at Lenora as she leaned against the table present, one arm was flat and her head rested against the hand of the other as she looked to the window.

"You seem quite chilled out." Her eyes flicked up to look at him. "Why?"

He thought over that for a moment before shrugging. "I don't see the point of worrying. Or at least, what is the point of sitting here thinking over all possible problems and scenarios when some may not even happen?" He said while looking at her with a fleeting smirk.

Lenora clicked her tongue and pointed a finger at him, once she moved her head from her hand. "What ones do you think will happen?"

Erik looked up at the ceiling and rocked slightly with the motions of the plane, Lenora let out a disagreeing noise which he couldn't help but smile over. Seems like someone wasn't much of a flier. "The fighting is inevitable."

"Yay."

"That didn't sound so solely sarcastic," he pointed out curiously. "Why, Valeryia...do you wish to fight?"

She blinked slowly and looked close to responding seriously only to lookup when Charles appeared. He looked curiously between the two before sliding into the seat in front of Lenora. "All good?" She asked instead, seemingly opting to forget Erik even asked her anything, he sighed shortly at this and decided to recline more in the seat and shut his eyes. They were going to be on this plane for a while, he intended to sleep for some of it.

Charles nodded his head quickly, "No problems thus far."

"Erik doesn't think it's worth worrying."

"Doesn't he now?" Charles smirked and looked to the man in question, he hadn't moved as such, but his lips pressed into a thin line as he frowned, yet he kept his eyes shut and arms tightly crossed across his chest. "And why is that?"

"My theory? He's been in a situation like this before." Lenora said with wide eyes and looked to the side as she saw movement, Erik straightened up and looked blankly down at her. "I'm right? I'm very rarely right!"

"Can't you be a little quieter?"

Lenora pouted, "Sorry am I disrupting your beauty sleep?" She looked at him simply and chose to ignore the chuckle which came from Charles, he was evidently finding some humour in their little moment. He couldn't help it really, he hadn't really seen someone so far willing enough to openly annoy Erik like she did. She didn't seem to care in the slightest or even pay attention to his guarded body language when these moments arose. Being contradicted wasn't something which seemed to cross Erik's path often, and when it did his natural response did seem to be to go on the instant defensive.

"Aren't you a little joker?"

"Geez, aren't you grouchy when you don't sleep?"

Erik rolled his eyes and looked back to the window. "Be careful, or else I shall share with Charles that rather colourful language from earlier." He didn't even need to look to Lenora to know that she had sat suddenly bolt upright and shot looks his way.

"You understood that?"

"A little."

"Wait...your only brief understanding on Russian is swearing and cursing?" Lenora looked at him disbelievingly, Charles let out a quiet chuckle behind his hand and just watched as Erik slowly slid his head away from the window and looked at her with hard eyes. "What? I'm just saying, like you didn't opt to learn useful things? Like asking where the toilets are? Or where the train station is? You learned swearing and cursing? Your priorities are very peculiar, Erik." Lenora said while rolling her hand in the air in thought and smiled rather widely up at him, just to be super annoying because she was evidently getting to him and she now knew it. She took to pulling at her dark jumper sleeves and smiled at Charles. "So! What's the plan of action here, guys?"

"We will have a team backing us up. To avoid any suspicion they're coming over on another plane. They will land in the same place, but we will be there before them. We'll meet in transit, and from there we go to our destination. Anyone who comes along questioning us, we have you."

"And after?"

Charles smiled sheepishly, "I've not thought that far ahead yet. I did hope that the solution would appear when we were ready to leave."

"Because that happens often?" Lenora rolled her eyes, even Erik nodded slowly agreeing with her that not having a way out planned was ridiculous. Sniffing quietly in thought she glanced at Erik before looking back to Charles. "Maybe he's onto something with this whole not worrying thing." Lenora nodded her head Erik's way before shutting her eyes and getting comfortable. "I am more than certain a solution shall present itself." She yawned quietly behind a sleeve covered hand and waved it momentarily as if she was going to say something only to let out a thoughtful hum and place it against her stomach.

"What a vote of confidence right there." Erik commented dryly, seeing as how she didn't reply it was safe to say that she had gone to sleep, head slightly tilted to one side, a few wisps of bright orange hair had escaped her hat and rested across her face. Getting no answer from Charles, Erik slowly looked up and frowned at the smug look which was on his friend's face. "What?"

"Nothing, nothing," Charles held his hands up in defence. Erik looked at him plainly, with a sigh Charles hung his head. Pushing hair from his face as he looked back up he smiled. "You do have to admit her apparent fondness of you is funny."

"There's no fondness." Erik decided to shoot down instantly. "She's annoying, short tempered and impulsive."

"That sounds familiar." Charles hummed and rubbed a hand to his chin in thought.

"Would you like to stay in one piece on this plane?" Erik inquired with a smile as he entwined his fingers and slowly put them behind his head, in an attempt to pad the headrest out some more. He narrowly missed accidentally hitting the sleeping girl in the head as he did so, he looked uncertain for a moment as if he had brushed minutely against her, but no. She didn't stir, well she did, she attempted to curl up in a ball but that wasn't from anything he had done. The spacing on the plane was really minimal. If she planned to sleep couldn't she have stayed over the other side where there was room for her to curl up all she wanted.

"I can't take you seriously when like that." Charles said with a lot of will power as he tried to not laugh. Lack of arm rests meant that in fact in her effort to curl up, Erik ended up having to lower his arm and stop the girl beside him from accidentally leaning against his chest. He didn't want that. He really didn't. But resting against his arm he could seemingly tolerate, though he didn't look all too happy about this situation.

"It's not funny."

"Are you suggesting she's doing this on purpose?" Charles laughed quietly, "She looks pretty asleep to me."

"I'm never getting peace again."

"Don't be so dramatic. She might end up getting bored of you."

"Are you saying she purposely sets out to talk to and irritate me?" Erik asked with a slightly wide eyed look. Oh he really wouldn't be surprised by that in the slightest.

Charles shrugged slowly and opted to ignore his dramatic wording, "She obviously sees something in you. Something that she can either relate to, or finds some sort of-"

"Let me stop you there, we're all similar. Apart from them two in there." Erik nodded back towards the cockpit. The pilot and Moira were very human, that much was certain. "And when exactly did you get so in depth and heavy thinking over one person?"

Charles smiled at that. "Since that one person seems to be causing a friend trouble."

"I'm not troubled." Erik said seriously. He was so far from troubled when on the topic of Valeryia.
