Gone

Percy's pov
I went into the woods to escape being followed by atlas and Iapetus. Sitting at the foot of the tree, i felt relaxed. I felt like a normal kid. No wars, no immortals and no enemies who wanted revenge or the apocalypse.

I heard the sound of leaves rustling and opened my eyes. Three campers were approaching me. What they were doing here, i would never know. They weren't supposed to be here but then again i wasn't supposed to be here either.

"Well, what do we have here? You are finally alone." Max said. He was a child of Ares.

"What do you want. I'm not really in the mood to be disturbed so if you have nothing important to say then go away.

" Don't worry. We aren't here to disturb you. We just want to make a simple deal. You come with us and neither Kronos nor the camp would be hurt." A boy i recognised to be Michael a son of nemesis said.
"And do you think you would hurt Kronos. He's a titan. And as for the camp they can hold their own against whatever army you send."

The three of them laughed like i was making a joke.

"Do you think we are stupid? We do not need an army for that. Let me explain. Take a good look at this." Henry said bringing a bottle filled with a liquid that seemed to be alive.

"This is a poison that was created by order. No immortal except the creator can sense it. Meaning only order can sense it. It was created with only one cure. Orders blood. Now, imagine what would happen if they were to eat this during lunch. The gods and Titans would also be there. I'm sure we don't want that to happen. All you have to do is come with me. We will be waiting for you here during lunch." He said not sounding the least regretful that he was betraying his loved ones.

"Fine I'll come. But swear on the Styx that nothing would happen to them." I said holding back tears so I wouldn't look weak.

"First, i swear on the Styx that they won't be harmed as long as you come with me. And don't even think of telling anyone. There are more spies than you think. If you make one wrong move, the whole lot would suffer it and you would still be taken by force." Max said.

"I don't understand why you are doing this. Your parents all love you now. And you have no excuse for joining order. You are betraying your loved one for no reason." I said.

"You see Percy, that's where you are wrong. I am a child of eris, goddess of discord so I like it when there is a war going on. Michael's mother is a goddess of balance. You've won the war twice. Now its time for the enemy side to win. Then there is max whose father is a war god. Its in his blood to cause wars or aid them. And taking you to order would do just that. Don't forget our deal or the poison may accidentally be in the air around the dining pavilion" The three campers turned leaving me alone to cry. I had to stay strong. If not for myself then for others.

"No one's POV

The gods sat with their children in the dining pavilion trying to get along with their children like normal parents. Ares was talking about wars related things with his kids. Aphrodite and her kids talked about latest fashion and latest gossips. Hephaestus cabin talked with their dad about new styles they could use on weapons.
Athena and her kids ate quietly observing table manners. The other gods were doing all sorts of things with their kids.

Jason's POV

I was really surprised when ju... sorry Hera joined us on our table. My father on the other hand didn't look surprised. As a matter of fact, he looked like he'd been expecting her. But I was more surprised at what happened next.

"I'm sorry" she said with sadness etched into her features. "I shouldn't have acted the way I did. I should never have taken Jason away. I was jealous and acted without thinking. I took my anger for what my husband did on demigods when I should have known it wasn't their fault. Please if you can find it in your heart to forgive me then I'll be in your debt. If you can't then all I can say is I'm sorry and I'll try to make it up to you."

Wow. I never expected that. What surprise can top this? This day just keeps getting better and better for me but I don't know about Thalia. She suffered a lot. Her mom losing her self to alcohol and then losing her brother. I was expecting Thalia to hate her and yell but she can be full of surprises. She stood up and hugged Hera.

"Its okay. Everyone makes mistakes. But what's important is that you realized it and tried to correct them. I forgive you but please refrain from kidnapping kids. You seemed to have taken a particular liking to it." Thalia said indirectly referring to me being kidnapped as a child and then Percy being kidnapped after the titan war.

"Hahaha, I promise I'll stop. I guess I could have just asked." Hera laughed.

"Though I do have something to asked the both of you. I know I haven't been the best person but I would be a very happy goddess if you both would let me adopt you." She asked shyly. The fates seem to be very happy today.

"Of course, what do you say Jason?" She turned smiling at me.

"Sure. I've never had a mother around before so yeah I'd love to be your son." I replied

She stood up and hugged us both like she was going to lose us the next minute.

"Can't breathe mom." Thalia rasped.

"Oh sorry. I'm just so excited its been a long time since I've had kids. And they grow up really fast so you never get to watch them grow." She loosened her hold and composed herself and sat down with a shit eating grin on her face.

I looked over to the Poseidon's table and saw Percy excusing himself. For a second, his posture was stiff like he was scared of something but the next, he looked carefree. It must have been a trick of the light. He left the dining pavilion after warning Kronos not to send any bodyguards with him. Probably because he didn't like guards following him everywhere he went. It could get pretty annoying and I'm saying this from experience. Don't ask.

"Now that all that is sorted out, let us eat." My father said.

***Time skip***

No one's POV

"Kronos, we have a problem?" Iapetus said.

"What is it? Did order send an army?" Kronos asked

"No, not that. Actually its something worse." Iapetus tried bringing it up slowly because he's brother would be furious and wouldn't be able to think straight. But Atlas had other ideas.

"The thing is well, um, Percy's missing." Atlas said looking at the ground.

"What?!" Kronos yelled in outrage.

"What do you mean he's missing. I told you to go look for him after lunch. Didn't you do that!?" He kept yelling. Behind all the anger you could see how he really felt. He was sad and felt lost. Not knowing whether to break down or be angry. But he made up his mind. He needed to be calm so he could find Percy. If he loses it, then he may as well be falling into Order's trap.

"I need you to search for clues." Kronos ordered.

"Wait. This may not really be a clue but I think he let himself be taken. He may have been threatened because at lunch he looked like he was scared of something. Right before he made you promise he wouldn't be followed." Jason spoke up remembering the little accident that occurred during lunch.

"That is a clue. As small as it is, it is the only lead we've got. But I know Percy enough to know that he would leave a message. Lelantos, I need you to retrace Percy's step. And Artemis I would really appreciate it if you could help out. I know you hate males but please I have to find him" He turned pleadingly to the hunt goddess.

"Its okay. I will help you for Percy's sake. He has saved our lives a lot of times so I would gladly help." She turned to follow Lelantos.

An hour later, Lelantos came back with Artemis looking confused.

"Did you find anything?" Kronos asked hopefully.

"Yes. But I don't understand his message. He drew a sea shell on three trees." Lelantos said.

Kronos's eyes widened.

"I think i know what the sea shell means. Poseidon I need you to give me the sea shell Percy gave you. The one he recorded messages in." Kronos said frantically.

"OK. Here you go." Poseidon seemed to have aged a thousand years older. The sea was restless Portraying his emotions.

Kronos held the sea shell hope shining in his eyes.

"Hope" he said to the sea shell. Everyone looked at him thinking he was going crazy but what happened next proved otherwise.

A hologram appeared. It was Percy and he seemed to be crying.

" Kronos, I hope you get this message. I wrote a poem for you. I hope you like it."

You are there always.

Whether it is love or hate

You became a part of my life.

And the spy you sent.

You had at the right road

We are two made one

The two camps may hate you

You endure a lot of hatred.

But I am glad

You were okay after all.

"Why would he right a poem like that to Kronos?"

"I know why." Kronos said with a look of fury on his face.

"We need to talk and alone." He mind messaged the immortals.
