Acceptance
No one's POV
Upon hearing the truth Percy stumbled back falling on his bed. His eyes were wide with disbelief showing clearly. Poseidon could sense that he clearly wasn't expecting that.
"Percy, I know it was wrong to hide such an important thing from you but I was only trying to protect you. I didn't want you to get hurt."
"I just want to be alone for a while." Percy suddenly looked towards the one place that could help calm him down. Poseidon resigned from trying to talk to Percy, settling to seat and watch as his son went to seat at the beach, staring at the ocean.
Percy was confused. On one irrational side he was very happy he found his soulmate but on the other hand he wanted to refuse because he only knew negative things about Kronos.
He felt a calming presence watching him. "Come out. I can feel you staring." Percy said. He felt someone most likely male sit beside him, he's eyes still trained on the sea.
"You look like you need company" He turned his head so fast. He was mildly surprised he didn't have a whiplash.
"Kronos. What do you want?" Kronos turned to face him with an emotion Percy never thought he would see on his face. Love and sorrow at the same time.
"I want to talk. I know you don't want to listen so please forgive me for this but I have to say everything. I didn't choose this for you and I know you don't believe and neither do u like me but if you can give me a chance I'll make this work. I'm willing to do anything for you to accept me. Just please, give me a chance." Percy didn't know which was more surprising , the invisible Titan lord Kronos begging him or the Titan's love for him.
His shock lasted for a minute. Kronos seeing that the demigod hadn't responded tried miserably to keep his emotions in check. "Well I should have expected this" he turned to leave when Percy pulled him in for a kiss. He couldn't comprehend what happened for some seconds but when he did he responded with such a gentleness that surprised Percy. But it quickly changed from a harmless kiss to something more when Percy bit Kronos's bottom lips for entrance.
Too busy exploring each other's mouth they didn't see a certain sea god standing a few feet behind them with his jaws on the floor. Poseidon quickly left before they could come to their senses and see him watching them. He wasn't happy that Percy had to be with Kronos but if he made him happy then he could forget about the past for Percy's sake. He loved seeing Percy happy and would never do anything to remove his smile. He knew that Percy had a rough life and he deserved happiness so he was okay with Kronos.
"Is that a yes" Kronos asked with a ridiculously happy smile on his face.
"What do you think? But don't break my trust. I want to see how this plays out for both of us and never ever call me a belonging. I belong to no one.". He said yawning as he laid his head on Kronos's chest. As he put his arms around Percy he said. "Thanks. I won't disappoint you" Kronos replied laughing.
"hmm, I know".
