FOUR:
I owe you ten dollars

MELANIE WAS A GREAT FIGHTER.

Dispite not having as much experience as the Avengers, she could easily defend herself against most of them.

And she found that hilarious.

Melanie shot a web up at one of the large polls by the side of the airport and used it to swing herself towards the metal-arm-guy.

He had his back turned, so he didn't see the 15 year old until she had already knocked him down.

"Aww!" Melanie yelled as she shot another web, swinging back towards him. "I meant to hit you harder, sorry" and then when she swung back instead of kicking his legs, she slammed her feet into his torso.

Before Melanie could escape the man grabbed her feet, pulling her down with him. Melanie let out a loud screech as she tumbled to the ground, using her arms to protect her head so she didn't slam it against the concrete.

Melanie quickly threw herself up, almost as fast as the metal-arm-guy did. He was a little faster then her. The moment he stood up he went to punch her—again, only this time Melanie simply pushed his arm to the side then slammed her foot into his stomach for the second time.

"Oh my gosh! Wait!" Melanie examined the man as he stood up "how did I not piece this together. Metal Arm, weird hair. You're the super soldier guy right?"

"Why do you talk so much" he groaned. He looked like he was about to run forwards, but he paused—as if trying to listen to something.

"Got it" he said so quietly that if Melanie didn't have enhanced hearing, she wouldn't have heard it. Then he ran, but not at her—away from her.

Melanie stood still for a moment, completely confused on why he ran. She hadn't even got a good hit on her.

"Dude!" Melanie began to swing after him "I wanted to hit you back" she shot a web out, beginning to swing after him.

"Melly! I need your help!" Peter's voice yelled into her ear.

Melanie groaned, letting go of her web and landing on the ground—letting the man get away. "What did you do"

"I owe you ten dollars"

This time Melanie laughed.

"How does this even happen" Melanie asked when she found Peter stuck under an airplanes loading bridge.

"Captain America" Melanie's Eyebrows shot up at the boys words—her suits eyes widening.

"You went up against Captain America? How was it? He obviously won? Was he as cute I person as he is on tv? Was he—" Melanie was cut off by Peter yelling her name. "What?"

"I called you over here to help me, not crush on Captain America."

Melanie rolled her eyes "I can't help it"

She examined the situation he was in, debating multiple different ways she could help him. After deciding on one she clicked her tongue "alrighty. I got an idea but you probably won't like it" she said shooting a web onto another loading bridge above her.

"Why?" Peter asked, even though he already had a solid guess why.

"Because I'm gone hit you." Melanie took a few steps backwards, but before she swung herself she paused, looking back at the boy "hopefully I don't squish myself"

Then she swung straight towards the boy.

"Oh my—" peter was cut off by the girl body slamming into his, sending the two flying through the air.

Peter quickly caught himself, landing very heroically while Melanie flipped a few more times before finally coming to a stop on her back.

"I feel like there were better ways to do that" peter said, walking over to the girl who was chuckling on the ground.

"Yeah, but that was my favorite choice" she said, placing her hand on her stomach.

Peter held out his hand for the girl for the second time in ten minutes "you need to get better at sticking the landing" he said as Melanie rolled up to her knees.

Melanie smiled, taking the boys hand and pulling herself up "now why would I do that when I have you"

AUTHOR TALKS!!
I feel like I've completely forgotten how to write in 3rd person. I've been writing rivers story for so long—which is written in 1st person.

The fact that the last two chapters have pretty much ended the same exact way.

Also I wonder how Liz feels after finding out peter was Spider-Man (before she forgot he existed)
