PREVIOUSLY ON ESCAPE THE NIGHT ...
the heroes free Merlin and run from the Black Knight. They uncover the mysterious Guardian Angel stone. Gabbie and Tana have the chance to both survive the death challenge, but fail. Colleen claims Excalibur and slays the Black Knight. But the real monster is yet to come.

       EVERYTHING BECAME foggy outside. Colleen still had the note, "Wait there's no instructions. What do we do?" Alex asks, "She coming guys, I feel like we have to hide or something." Joey suggested, looking around.

Joey: Bretman and I are the only ones who have seen the gorgon before. The others don't understand what's yet to come.

"OH MY GOD!" Joey exclaims, seeing the gorgon pop through the door. "What have you done to the museum!?" The Gorgon asks.

Alex: woah, put some clothes on, and put your snakes away.

The sorceress tried to lunge at the gorgon, along with Mortimer who tried to pull her back away, the two got slammed to the wall. Calliope tried to plead to stop the gorgon, turning into stone from the process.

"Oh shoot!" Rosanna exclaimed as the group ran inside a room, "Lock it, boys." Vivienne ordered to Joey and Alex. "What was that!?" Bretman exclaimed.

Joey: thank god for the sorceress, calliope, and Mortimer because we wouldn't be out of there alive.

"We're locked in the Egyptian room again, what do we do?" Vivienne asks, "There's a little keyhole." Joey looked, "Be careful." Rosanna warns. The Gorgon walked out the building, "I think the coast is clear." Joey spoke.

Joey: the coast is clear and we head back into the lounge to see what happened.

Mortimer and the Sorceress examined the now stoned calliope, "Calliope!" Vivienne exclaimed, "she turned to stone!" Joey adds. "I'll gouge her eyes out for this." Mortimer menacingly said. He and Calliope were somewhat friends on the night they saved Everlock. "Mark his words." The Sorceress adds.

Vivienne: I am honestly just so upset the Calliope is now stone. Each time I've been in this recent events she's been nothing but helpful and sweet.

Rosanna: most people thought she was a little cuck-coo, but now we trusted her with our lives. Now she's stone.

"I knew she was a stoner." Bretman comments.

Bretman: just a secret, I'm stoner too.

"If this can happen to her, it could happen to any of us. We still have five keys and there's a Gorgon coming out of nowhere that has the power to turn us to stone. How can we all be saved if there's five?" Vivienne asks, "oh okay..." Rosanna sighed, overwhelmed of the recent events.

Vivienne: we lost two of our friends, and now calliope. This is what Merlin meant by the rainiest of days.

"This is the rainy day he was talking about!" Alex points out, "What could this stone do? What do we do with it?" Rosanna asks, holding the stone. "Wait let's try holding it up to her. Like put it in her hand?" Joey attempted to place the stone.

"Does it fit on the box?" Alex points to a box on a small table near the couches. Joey placed it, "put it on there and look through it." Alex advised.

Vivienne: all of a sudden we see a blue light from stone then to the door, then we see...

"MY MAT!" Vivienne yelled, seeing the love of her life back alive and healthy. She ran to Matthew who looked at her in shock. Rosanna screamed seeing the two of her best friends reunite.

Matthew and Nikita Dragun, the people who escaped Everlock, appeared through the door.

Nikita: we're back bitches, hm.

Matthew went into Vivienne's embrace, reuniting after what felt like forever, tears struck to Vivienne's eyes. Happy tears stung her green irises.

Matpat: I see her and I realize she's wearing this sailor outfit. Vivienne looks like a goddess and I would happily let her sail me away to Neverland.

"Oh, I missed you!" Vivienne exclaimed and gave Matthew a kiss. "Wait is this the Matthew Robert Patrick you were talking about earlier?" Alex asks.

"Matthew!!" Rosanna ran to the boy, hugging him as well. Vivienne clung into Matthew's arm. "How did you guys get here?" Joey asks as the group erupts into noise.

Bretman: y'all could stay here, she's here for me.

"This is so crazy!" Joey exclaims as everyone hugs in reunion.

Colleen: I guess these are our guardian angels, which is great except Nikita is a really sucky guardian Angel because last time I was with her, she shoved me into a box of spikes and murdered me.

"We only have a limited amount of time to save as many of you as possible." Matthew explained, "wait, you guys aren't here for good?" Vivienne asks, "Yeah sweetie no." Nikita answers.

Matpat: the magic isn't strong enough, we're not gonna be able to stay here for too long.

"Is that calliope?" Nikita asks, seeing the statue. "Calliope!?" Matthew exclaims, "Yes..." The group answers. "Oh my god..." Nikita mumbles.

"Wait did you guys join a cult?" Rosanna asked the two, "What?" Matthew asks, "Yeah! We saw a symbol on hers, Joey, you! Honey, you joined a cult while I was dead?!" Vivienne asks.

"No we're the Society Against Evil." Nikita explained, "We're here to help. We're the good guys. I would never join a cult without inviting you too." Matthew explained to Vivienne and Rosanna. Rosanna still looked skeptical.

Rosanna: this cult is recruiting, I do not trust them.

Vivienne: I guess it's nice seeing my Mat say he wouldn't join a cult without me? But I'm still concerned of it.

Matpat: it's okay being a Society Against Evil member. Jael and Ryu are kinda odd, bit quiet, puke magic, kinda disgusting.

"Really glad you're back but you came here at a crazy time, there's a crazy Gorgon woman here, who will turn us to stone if we look at her." Joey explained, "Look at Calliope!" Rosanna said, "Calliope got turned to stone."

Matpat: so obviously Nikita and I have no idea what's going on. All we know is that there's a Gorgon that needs to be stopped in order to save their lives. So, thinking Gorgon, I think of Greek mythology.

"If you show a mirror to a Gorgon it would reflect their vision back at them, turning them into stone." Matthew remembers, the group agreeing.

"Mat, you smart! You smart!" Rosanna points, "Thank you." Matthew replied, kissing Vivienne's temple. Vivienne was still not used to the affection she received from the man, and blushed.

Rosanna: we've got to find a mirror!

Joey: Merlin just helped us out so much with this crystal and bringing our friends back. Maybe there's something else in this book that could help us continue our quest.

Colleen grabbed Merlin's spellbook, "Have you guys read this note?" She asks, "No we haven't." The group replied, "If my memories are correct, I think you might be facing a Gorgon. It's believed Athena's mirror shield..." Colleen read.

Matthew silently celebrated his correct statement, "can turn her deadly stare back upon her. Good to have you back, Mat." Colleen adds, "I'm glad to be back." Matthew smiles, "Especially back here with you." He whispered to Vivienne.

"The Collector, despite being a real bitch, happens to have it in her museum." Colleen finishes, "Okay time to find the mirror!" Vivienne exclaims, "Maybe in the fossil room!" Rosanna suggests.

"Okay well let's go." Joey advised, Vivienne held onto Matthew's hand as the group walked out.

Matpat: like always, my Anne was correct of where the shield was, because we found it.

"The bearer of the shield must stand toe-to-toe with the Gorgon to reflect her gaze, you'll find her in the garden of statues." Joey read the note.

Joey: I volunteer NOT to hold the shield.

"Do we just pick someone randomly to just stand toe-to-toe with this evil woman?" Colleen asks, "How about them!" Bretman suggests the two Society Against Evil members.

"Actually, I kinda agree with you, because last time I saw you, Nikita, you were shoving me into a box of spikes and murdering me. Why don't you make it up to me?" Colleen says

"That was when you were dead." Vivienne whispered, "Ah, got it. I think Nikita told me about that a few hours ago." Matthew replied.

"Listen, you don't understand at the end of the day, we had to do what we had to do. I came back here with Matpat to save every single person." Nikita spoke, "Then sorry for having a grudge about you murdering me. But I think I can let it go because I definitely want to get out of here alive." Colleen responded.

"You guys I think this is the chance I've been waiting for, to prove that I'm on your side again." Alex spoke, "He tried to be evil with someone who died." Vivienne filled Mat in, who nodded in response. "You wanna go head to head with a Gorgon?" Joey asks.

Alex: I let everyone down. So I need to redeem myself.

"Yes. I will." Alex replies, "Okay then let's go." Bretman spoke. "We don't have all the time in the world here." Vivienne comments.

The group walked into the Greek exhibit, or known as the garden of statues or the gorgon's lair.

Vivienne: So we walk into the Gorgon's lair, we see very obvious stone statues. Honestly that deserves an A+ for the Gorgon using her victims as decoration. My designer heart is filled.

Alex: I walk down the steps, head towards the Gorgon, and I hid behind a statue victim. I get so close, I get right behind her.

"Hey." Alex spoke to the Gorgon, the shield shielding him from her face. The Gorgon turned around, laughing, "That's just a myth, you fool!" "It didn't work!" Alex exclaims.

"Don't look her in the eyes, Alex!" Matthew yelled.

Bretman: Alex tried to look at her through the mirror and miss Gorgon was like, bitch you dumb!

Alex: just when I think it couldn't get any worse.

The group screamed as they watched Alex back away into the arms of Minotaur, getting grabbed by the large man. "There's a note!" Alex exclaimed, dropping the shield while getting carried away from the Minotaur.

"Take him to the maze." The Gorgon ordered. "She has a key! She has a key!" Alex yelled, "Do as I say, or I'll rebuild the medallion and make you my slave."

"We'll find you!" Vivienne yelled, "they're taking him to the maze?" Rosanna asks.

Bretman: why do the cute monsters never grab me!?

"are we good?" Vivienne rises up, "Yeah, let's go check the shield." Joey said.

Matpat: once they're away we sneak deeper into the gorgon's lair, and we find a note.

"Guys! Listen to this!" Joey says, "The Gorgon cannot be slain by a human, only by a beast. Poseidon created the Minotaur and his medallion has the power to control it. It's been broken into three pieces. The first lies in the Gorgon's lair and the second in the minotaur's maze. None have ever made it out alive."

"Promising." Vivienne sarcastically smiled. "Oh don't worry Vivi we'll make it!" Rosanna optimistically replied.

Rosanna: so we have to find the medallion to control the Minotaur, unfortunately, it's broken into pieces.

"Okay whoever wants to survive, come with me!" Nikita raised her arm, "Bretman, Joey." Was her group, "I'm guess I'm with you ladies." Matthew said, the group was Vivienne, Colleen, and Rosanna.

Joey: the odds are all against us right now. Literally feels like hell on earth, I feel like the Gorgon summoned a storm.

"It's a race!" Matthew offered to Nikita, "Absolutely!" Nikita shook Matthew's hand, "Who's the better survivor!" The two dealt.

Vivienne: hm I'm wondering if this time we'll cure a gorgon's venom? ( reference from venomous infection )

Matpat: scattered around the gorgon's lair are her past victims. But they all have inscriptions underneath them.

"The victims of Gorgon have lost their identities as the years have passed. Restore them to uncover what you seek." Vivienne read the note.

"Defending the attack..." Matthew read an inscription, "Seems like he should be holding a shield? He's not defending anything." "Maybe the shield Alex dropped!" Vivienne suggests.

Rosanna: each statue has a clue, we've got to figure out which item is needed to restore the identity.

Matpat: maybe somewhere hidden around this gorgon's lair is all the items they're missing.

"A kiss from a jeweled lover. Vivi, Mat? There's no one here so..." Colleen smirked, "Sush we might die in a hour." Vivienne said, "Don't say that, love!" Matthew jokingly hit her on the shoulder.

Matpat: there are multiple pedestals that don't have any statues.

Colleen: I don't know how a statue can walk off, but we need to figure out how to make these work.

"My gosh theres so many things to find." Vivienne read the many inscriptions. "Guys! I found fruits." Colleen spoke. "Good! Put it there!" Rosanna points to a statue.

Colleen: first thing I find is grapes, I grab that and put  that with her.

"Someone's coming! Hide!" Vivienne exclaimed, the Gorgon appeared, the group hid behind objects. Matthew drags Vivienne with him and hide behind a bush, both in a crawling positions.

Rosanna: I've only seen the Gorgon once, I did not want to look in her direction.

"I think they're gone." Matthew spoke. "My aim is true." Vivienne read an empty pedestal. "You guys found a bow and arrow! Might be for this missing one." Vivienne advised.

"The clothed man. Oh he ain't got no clothes on, honey!" Colleen read a statue. "Okay so a crown, the shield Alex dropped, bow and arrow..." Matthew listed off stuff.

He found a vase, and put it on a statue. "Oh vivi! I found a necklace. Kiss from a jeweled lover? I'll put it here." Rosanna said, Matthew and Vivienne walked to her, "Yes perfect."

"You guys there's stuff up here! I found the clothes!" Colleen yelled, "What's up there?" Matthew asks, "I found clothes! There might be more stuff!"

"Okay the shield is right—" Vivienne tried to run up the stairs, then saw the Gorgon, "There! But never mind!" She exclaims while running. Matthew saw the girl's antic and smiled.

Colleen: just trying to find pieces to this puzzle, and the stupid Gorgon keeps coming in, and freaking us out! If we look at her, we're screwed!

Matthew hud behind a statue and Vivienne ducked under pedestals. "Coast is clear!" Matthew called out, "Guys! We found the bow!" Rosanna held up, "I got the clothes." Colleen held.

Matpat: Ro finds a bow, and we give it to the empty pedestal. Colleen finds some clothes, and dresses the statue.

"Okay I got the shield! It definitely goes to this guy." Vivienne placed the shield. "Who's we missing?" Matthew asked. "The crowned champion returns. We have to find a crown." Colleen replies.

Rosanna: we discover we need a crown. Maybe a flower crown! That's what I'm thinking!

"The Greek people were very natural." Vivienne comments, "Right about that." Matthew adds. "I found it! A natural crown!" Rosanna held it up.

"I love how the clothes on this guy doesn't cover shit." Vivienne smiled, "True." Colleen replies. "Here you go, sir." Rosanna placed the crown.

Vivienne: Ro finds the crown in the bushes. Mat finds a sword, probably the coolest out of all the stuff.

"Mat! This is the weapon raised in battle cry, but there's no one here." Rosanna noticed, "Like the bow and arrow one." Vivienne adds. "Do we have to act out the statue?" Rosanna asks.

"Yes! Colleen you should do that with the bow!" Vivienne nods, Colleen went towards the pedestal.

Rosanna: we're almost done with the task, but there's three pedestals with no statues. We get the idea that maybe we have to stand up there and act out the statues. Team cinnamon roll!

Rosanna acts out the statue, holding the sword. Colleen acted out the statue, holding the arrow.

"A kiss from the jeweled lover." Matthew read the final pedestal. "That's us..." Vivienne adds.

Vivienne: me and mat have to do the one that says, a kiss from the jeweled lover. Now, if you watched season 3 and my YouTube channel...

The two stood on the pedestal. "Close your eyes, children!" Vivienne warned, Colleen closed Rosanna's eyes and hers.

Matthew stared into Vivienne's eyes, a smile on his face. Vivienne held a gaze to him, a look with lovingness and home.

"I missed you." Vivienne whispered. Then, their lips attached, and they kiss. Matthew wrapped his arm around her waist, Vivienne put her hands to his neck.

"Okay guys! A chest opened, save the kisses for later!" Colleen ran to the chest. The couple let go, and laugh, getting off the pedestal and towards the chest.

"Is that a medallion?" Vivienne asks as Colleen picked it up. "Oh it's in there!" Rosanna smiled. "Look, guys." Colleen called.

Colleen: we get our medallion and we know we have to head to that maze to find the others.

"Are you the calliope now? Will Mortimer shuffle the cards now, or you?" Matthew asks the Sorceress. "I'm the sorceress." She introduces herself.

"She's a really cool woman! She has some beautiful dresses too!" Vivienne comments, "Didn't Joey said she killed him?" Matthew asks. "We don't talk about that. Forgive and forget, am I right?" Colleen asked. "Maybe." Matthew replied.

"What the hell! It's so foggy here!" Vivienne held onto Matthew as they walked through the fog. "Is it not cold for you?" Rosanna asked the Sorceress.

"You guys!" Joey called out, walking out a maze with Nikita, Bretman, and Alex. "We went into the maze and saved Alex." Joey explained. "Okay that's great!" Colleen exclaims.

Matpat: we meet up with the rest of the group, they found the other piece of the medallion, there's still one more medallion piece left. Guess where?

"When we found our core medallion, we also found this note." Matthew held it up, "To claim the final piece of the medallion, build a monument to Poseidon with the pieces from the maze." He read the note.

"We have to go back in there?" Alex asks, "Your guardian Angel will search the maze for the pieces you'll use. The first to complete their monument will receive the medallion, the other will be torn to pieces. Watch your back, the Minotaur will be roaming the maze." Matthew finished.

Joey: we were just in the maze! Could we not have gotten it while we were in there?

Matpat: we're gonna be pulling some cards, aren't we?

"So you know how this goes. Time to vote." Mortimer spoke (forgot about this mf tbh).

Alex: someone has to go in, so I'm thinking, maybe Vivienne. don't think she's been in one death match. And for the spite that her boyfriend is here, the reaction on his face.

"Someone vote Alex in the challenge!" Nikita called out, "Want a vote?" Rosanna asks, "Yes! Put me in!"

Rosanna: I was like, Alex want me to vote for you! He was like, I got this! I choose him.

Joey: I just hope me risking putting my name in the voting pile proves to them I'm here to save them.

Colleen: I feel like Alex is not really pulling his weight, I don't trust him since he became buddy buddy with DeStorm. I'm voting his ass in.

"Okay, I'll shuffle them draw two." Mortimer announces, "First person in, The Sailor." Mortimer showed the card, everyone pretty much gasps.

Matpat: all of a sudden I hear my Anne's role be called for a death challenge?! Who planned this?

"Why would you guys vote me in! What the duck!" Vivienne exclaimed.

Vivienne: I am pissed, I've done most if not all of these stupid puzzles and then I'm in?

"Second person is, the Duchess." Mortimer announces. "What!?" She exclaims, "I did not see that coming." Alex comments. Colleen was shocked.

Colleen: what? Who voted for me? I've totally proven myself here. This makes no sense!

Bretman: miss Colleen, prove yourself, duchess.

"The person who is called first gets to choose their guardian Angel." Mortimer adds, "My Mat. No brainer." Vivienne said.

"Last time we did this, didn't work out well for me." Matthew warns, "well who knows. It's been a surprising night for all of us, hasn't it?" Vivienne asks. "But I'll try my best for you."

Matpat: sorry JC, rest in peace.

"Fine you can be with your boyfriend, and you both die! Colleen we got this, ignore our past. May the best woman win." Nikita says.

Joey: Colleen is still the only person I can trust right now. If she doesn't come back alive, I'm probably next.

Matpat: Nikita and I lead My Anne and Colleen into the center of the maze. That's where the challenge begins. We see a picture of the parts and we learn Nikita and I have to search the maze for pieces and that My Anne and Colleen are responsible for putting the pieces together.

"Go Mat! Go!" Vivienne cheered. The two guardians run to find pieces. Vivienne watched as Nikita quickly brought the pieces to Colleen.

Vivienne: Im anxiously waiting for My Mat to find the pieces and I see Colleen starting hers. I'm trying really hard not to doubt his guardian skills right now.

Nikita: I have been here before so I definitely do have an upper advantage. Yes of course the other two are smarter but how much will smart get you in a situation like this?

"Come on, honey!" Vivienne called out, "Found it. Here." Matthew brought the pieces. "Thanks." Vivienne immediately started to build.

Vivienne: mat comes back with the bag full of puzzle pieces. Thank the god.

"This puzzle is huge." Vivienne said, dumping the pieces. "Think that's all of them. Let me check." Matthew said.

Colleen: I know Nikita is trying or something, but she has to get moving.

Nikita: babe I can only do so much, I know I'm trying to save your life but you need to put in some work too.

"Okay start with the edges." Matthew instructed, "I know, I've built legos before." Vivienne joked. "Nikita they got all their pieces already!" Colleen called out.

Colleen: I'm building my Parthenon, but it looks like a hut. Vivienne's Parthenon is looking like a Parthenon.

Nikita brought Colleen the other pieces, "Grab the stair pieces, and line them up to the front." Matthew advises.

Vivienne: I am beating Colleen, kinda happy I'll live, only have some pieces left.

"Oh my gosh!" Vivienne saw the Minotaur. "I'll distract him!" Matthew called out. Vivienne notice Nikita try to knock down her Parthenon. "Not today, sweetie!" Vivienne grabbed Nikita's arm. Nikita's other arm knocked down Colleen's. "What the hell! Nikita!" Colleen called out.

Vivienne let go of Nikita's arm and sent her a smirk.

Nikita: my plan of sabotaging failed! I tried to knock down Vivienne's Parthenon whatever and it didn't end well.

"You're gonna kill me again!" Colleen exclaimed. "I'm sorry it was an accident!" Nikita yelled. "We were almost done Nikita, are you serious!" Colleen asks. "I'm so sorry, let me try to find them on the floor." Nikita said, "You're not sorry, you just like Vivienne more than me!" Colleen exclaims.

"Colleen I'm trying to be your guardian okay! Be glad I'm putting some effort!" Nikita argued.

Colleen: Vivienne is way ahead of me at this point.

"Nikita this looks like it's missing pieces what did you do?" Colleen asks, "No I swear they're all here!" Nikita says.

Matthew went back to Vivienne, "Okah what do we have?" He asks, "almost done." Vivienne answers

Nikita: if Colleen doesn't hurry up, we're gonna loose. My first lost.

"Wait these go on the top." Vivienne noticed, placing the pieces on top. Colleen and Nikita had rebuilt their Parthenon, it didn't end well.

"Did we win?" Matthew asks, "We won!" Matthew exclaimed, "WHAT?" Colleen yells.

Nikita: i actually failed Colleen. This time I didn't even hate her that much!

"Nikita! No!" Colleen yelled, seeing her guardian Angel gone.

Colleen: why would this happen to me! I trusted Nikita even though of the grudge since she won her games, multiple times in Everlock. She was my guardian Angel.

Nikita fell through the portal, seeing Jael and Ryu, "What happened?" Jael asks, "Fuck! No!" Nikita yells, kicking leaves.

"Colleen, I'm sorry!" Vivienne apologizes. "It's okay, honey, it's either her or us." Matthew said.

Vivienne: I find the third part of the medallion, I put it as fast as I could, and try to control this Minotaur.

"OH MY GOD! NO! PLEASE!" Colleen yelled out, "COLLEEN!" Vivienne yelled as the Minotaur grabbed the Duchess, hearing her screams and bones breaking.

"Minotaur! Stop!" Vivienne ordered. "Kill the Gorgon! Bring me her key!" "It's working, come on." Matthew said.

Vivienne: I wonder, if I moved fast enough, I could've saved her. I let her down and if she gets back alive I won't be in good relationship.

Matthew and Vivienne follow the Minotaur, watching as he kills the gorgon, suffocating her. "Minotaur! Return to the maze. Stay there." Vivienne ordered.

"Anne, the key." Matthew reminded, "Grab it, she has it." Vivienne grabbed the key from her neck, "Got it." She said.

Matpat: helped kill a Gorgon. Minotaur will stay in a maze. I did not fail being a guardian Angel. I did not fail my Anne. Is this plot armor for being a S.A.E. member?

"My Anne, I'm just glad we made it out there alive." Matthew hugged her. "Me too. I'm glad your luck pulled through. I'm still alive because of you. Thank you" Vivienne hugged him back.

"Promise to try and save each other?" Vivienne held a pinky, "Promise" Matthew completed the pinky promise. "I love you." Vivienne smiled, "Love you." Matthew replies, and held her hand.

"Now we have to find a way to get out this hellhole."

"Guys!" The couple ran inside the lounge. "Oh my god." Alex says. "Mat!" Rosanna exclaims, a smile on her face.

Joey: we see Matpat and Vivi, meaning Colleen and Nikita didn't make it.

Rosanna went to hug the two, "the magic that held Nikita faded away for her, she's gone with Jael and Ryu, hopefully. The magic keeping me here is fading. I don't know how much time we have." Matthew explained. "Colleen is dead, again. Her ghost will probably hunt for me. Or if she somehow gets revived like Mat she'll kill me. And we found a key." Vivienne adds.

"I told her I was gonna get her out of here." Says Joey.

Joey: I promised Colleen I was gonna save her. I feel terrible that I wasn't able to.

Vivienne: that's on making promises you can't keep, Joey, that's on you.

"Wait, there's four keys left after this one. Six of us, Mat, we don't know how much time you have, that means still only one of us will get out, alive!" Joey exclaims.

"Oh my gosh Nikita got Bret stuck here?" Rosanna asks, "that bitch got me stuck here!" Bretman exclaims.

"You guys we just have to put it in, here we go." Vivienne placed the key inside. A chest opened. "Guys a chest opened." Matthew spoke. The group ran toward it.

"Wishes are not free." Rosanna held a lamp.
