CHAPTER EIGHT ⨾ Wicked Games.

PREVIOUSLY ON AFTERGLOW . . . as the night is getting near its end, Mat returns from the dead. The group enters the carnival master's funhouse to cleanse the next artifact. While getting captured by its caretaker, Vivienne and Mat spark and spend time together. Safiya and Ro escape and vote two into the challenge to die—or so they think. But the funhouse uses different rules. Safiya gets gutted from a fishhook by the funhouse's caretaker, causing a rift in the group.

THE SURVIVING MEMBERS WERE SEPARATED IN THREE PAIRS.

Group one being Manny and Nikita. Group two being Rosanna and Matthew. Group three was Joey and Vivienne.

"It wasn't fair, Ro, she didn't have a chance..." Matthew told Rosanna, the two were sitting on a couch. Nikita and Manny leaned on a pinball machine, gossiping. Joey and Vivienne were discussing with each other, wondering how they could forgive and forget to solve clues.

"I'm so sick of this. I'll just stand up and say it to myself." Joey muttered.

"Okay, go you," Vivienne easily went with it.

"Okay guys, enough! None of us will get out of here alive if we don't start working together." Vivienne stood up with Joey.

Joey: In one hand we have Nikita and Manny who are acting like the mean girls of the group. Then there's mat and Ro who are like the Boy Scouts. And then there's me and Vivienne! Vivienne is dating one of the Boy Scouts and not taking sides, but we both just want to get home!

"Look, Mat, I know you maybe don't like me." Nikita stood up.

"I never said I didn't. I just don't like the side of you that im starting to see come out, okay?" Matthew replied.

Rosanna: I can see both sides, but I definitely understand where mat is coming from. There's absolute no shame in being a survivor, then there's also a choice to gloat about it and smile when your friends die.

"You seem darker, more competitive." Matthew stared.

"You don't understand what I was going through." Nikita said.

"He literally died, but okay." Vivienne whispered to Joey, making him covering his mouth trying to hide his chuckle.

"I do!" Matthew yelled.

"Alright guys we don't have time for this. It's useless to try and make you two get along, but we gotta find this artifact and survive, let's look at the map and see what we have to do." Vivienne spoke, fed up.

Matpat: We have to move forward with the mission, we pull the map off the wall and we see that there's suddenly three new areas here.

Manny: We have the gas station, the cemetery, and a bridge that leads to the cemetery, and we're thinking okay where the hell we going next?

"Where should we start?" Joey asks.

"Burn down the stakes sounds exciting." Matthew comments.

"Dead lover—" Nikita tried to say, before hearing a loud sound that made everyone jump. Vivienne hugged Matthew out of fright.

"What the hell?!" Matthew exclaimed.

"What was that?" Rosanna nervously asked.

"I don't know!" Joey replies.

Suddenly, Mortimer runs inside. "Mortimer? He's back?" Vivienne asks.

Vivienne: I never noticed, but where did he go?

"They're gonna burn him alive!" Mortimer pants.

"Who?" The group frantically asked.

"We don't have time for this anymore! Just come on, come on!" Mortimer yells and runs back out the arcade.

Nikita: We go to the pump station running, of course, there's some crazy guy tied up, in a very nice suit but with a hood on. My immediate thought is why do you have a little thingy over your face? Can we look? A little peak?

"She'll be back soon to burn me!" The man said.

"Who's gonna burn you?" Matthew interrogated.

"One of the witches! She'll be back and she'll burn me you have to find a key! Look around I don't know where it is!" The man explains.

"Okay, split up we have to find a key!" Joey exclaimed.

Manny: So we're kinda looking around and we start to realize there's a big weird bloody ritual going on in the gas station, there's blood everywhere.

"Are we sure we wanna help this guy?" Vivienne and Matthew are skeptical.

"He's gonna be burned alive!" Mortimer defended.

"Mortimer who is he?!" Nikita questioned.

"Everyone that we met in this town is evil besides Mortimer and Calliope!" Vivienne said.

"We can only keep pushing forward." Mortimer stated.

"Keep pushing forward, great." Matthew muttered.

"Okay Meet the Robinsons..." Vivienne joked while trying to search for clues.

"Oh my gosh guys! What is this?" Joey found a skull hanging decoration holding a paper scroll.

"Not a key." Rosanna answered.

"Wait, guys, it's all symbols! It looks like an equation of some sort." Nikita points out.

Joey: So we eventually find symbols that correlate to a certain number...

"I found one." Nikita spoke.

Nikita: I'm not really good at math. Honestly when I look at numbers, that's what I see, those symbols, so I'm leaving that to homeboy Mat and homegirl Vivi.

"Ro and Nikita look for two J's they're two fish hooks that opposite against each other." Vivienne ordered.

"You're strong, I know something is happening to you." Vivienne and Matthew could hear calliope say something to Mortimer,

"You doing alright there?" The couple asked in concern.

"I'm fine! Just find the key." Mortimer says.

Matpat: This reads as pretty sketchy, my detective senses are on high alert.

Vivienne: Mortimer comes out of nowhere and is acting like...that? If Calliope can tell, I'm going with her.

"Okay we think we have them all!" Joey ran back to the couple.

Matpat: Joey, My Anne, and I solve the equations on the car, manny is there testing the numbers onto the lock.

"Ninety-eight counter-clockwise! Try it!" Vivienne called out.

"They're coming back! You have to hurry," the man called.

"We're tying sir, we don't even know who you are!" Nikita retorted.

"Thank you for taking the words out my mouth." Vivienne commented, she watched as Manny opening a safe, getting sprayed by green air.

Manny: I didn't expect to open up a safe and get sprayed by something, I'm covered in this dust and I can see a little man made out of whicker.

"I think this is something, the witches—" Nikita tried to read.

"Joey! Don't touch it no!" Vivienne and Matthew grab Joey's hands away.

Matpat: Me and Anne have seen enough Blair Witch Project to know you don't grab weird stick creatures in the middle of the forest. Heck no! So then being the smart and lovely girlfriend she is, Vivi suggests that we read the note.

"Oh here's a key!" Vivienne grabbed it. "The witches are using the whickerman to curse the people of Everlock." Vivienne reads.

Matpat: The note tells us that a convent of witches have been using this whickerman to curse people of the town, and to cleanse this artifact, we'd have to reverse three of those curses.

"Do we unlock them? We have the keys!" Nikita asked, after Vivienne handed her the key.

"Yes just open it!" Rosanna said.

"Hey, wait, do we even trust this guy?" Matthew asked, still skeptic and high alert.

Matpat: Why wouldn't we want to help a sketchy person with a bag over his head that we literally know nothing about. And he's gotta be one of the curses.

Joey: You know, if I was in that situation, I'd hope someone would free me!

Manny: I don't really know what he looks like, but the good thing is that his body is cute so I'm like we should save him!

"Okay ready? We helped you! You help us now!" Joey ordered.

"Freedom..." the man muttered, taking off the bag from his head. Everyone cringed seeing the face reveal...not what they'd expect.

"What you looking at? Never seen a guy with a pig face before!?" The man asked.

"I've seen one before..." Nikita commented, clearly lying.

"So have I!" Joey also joined in.

"A young witch cursed me!" The man explained.

"Is there a spell to cure you?" Rosanna asked,

"They got you too." The man pointed at Manny

Manny: I realize that I just got sprayed with a freaking curse, but I feel completely fine right now.

"The curse takes time to manifest." The man adds,

"That's something." Joey comments.

"I took something from the witches." The man held a key, and everyone looked at it.

Nikita: So mister pig man grabs a spell book from inside of his car which I'm like, can we just go in the car and get out of the town? But of course not. And as soon as he pulls the damn thing out...

The group was being chased by a trio of witches. "Where we going?" Matthew asked.

"Inside fat man slims come on!" Mortimer ordered.

Manny: We're booking it to freaking fat man and we get in there and we just escape.

Matpat: So we roll out the piece of parchment paper on the table and we see that there's a diagram with all of these different curses that we have to reverse. An amulet of youth, a ring of a dead man, and the bloody snout of a pig.

"You're the only one with a snout..." Vivienne spoke, pointing at the man.

"This is a curse." The man pointed to his snout.

"So if we reverse the curse can we have your snout?" Manny asks as the pig man shrugged.

Suddenly, an elderly woman pops out, surprising the group. "Thought everyone had gone home..." the woman spoke.

Nikita: I'm thinking, uh, hello, this could be a bruja! My Mexican mamma told me about these things honey, we don't mess with cucuys, and we don't mess with brujas!

"The witches killed my brother with their curse, and then stole my youth. Look at me, I look like a goddam hag!" The woman explained.

"Hey, sweets, I love your overalls!" Vivienne compliments.

"Yeah, super cute! It's corduroy!" Rosanna smiled.

"How can we help you?" Matthew questions.

"Silver hair is in!" Joey comments.

"Very." Nikita added.

Joey: Ugh, she is just the cutest old lady ever, how can you not wanna help her?

"Oh guys! There's a resurrection spell on here." Vivienne opened the book.

"Where do we find him?" Joey asked the girl.

"His bones are in the cemetery." The woman answered.

"We have the swine undone, resurrection spell, and the transformation spell." Vivienne listed as she flipped through the pages.

"The transpiration spell can disguise yourself to look like on of the witches lovers!" The woman exclaims.

Nikita: We have a lot to accomplish, and there's not many of us, so we need to split up!

"So who wants to come with me to help pig face over here?" Mortimer asks.

"We got ya." Vivienne and Matthew raised their hands, Manny following along.

"Okay let's do it." Manny said.

Manny: Okay, so we're like let's rip out these two pages we have the reverse a swine spell, and the invisibility spell, so okay cool we can do this!

"Don't get tagged again!" Nikita warns.

"Don't screw it up." The man spoke.

"Guys, witches, come here!" Mortimer saw and ran, the trio following along.

"Curse the innocent, redeem the evil, open the sky and pour out your darkness that we might see your wicked ways." Debra and Belle, the witches, were casting a spell.

"Oh come on what does the spell book say?" Mortimer asked.

"we We find a cloak, and white sand." Matthew and Vivienne read.

"What about the other one?" Asked Mortimer.

"Swine undone, elk's blood, yeti's milk, salamander eyeballs and a silver flask." Manny read.

Matpat: We see a huge shelf of ingredients and assume what we need is probably gonna be there. The downside though is that we also see two witches. Right next to the shelf of ingredients. They're too busy casting spells but they don't seem to be going anywhere.

"They don't seem to be moving." Matthew observed.

"They don't seem to be distracted while casting their spells." Mortimer comments.

"You're right!" Vivienne and Manny realize.

Manny: We realize, that basically while they were casting, they're distracted, so we could kinda get around them while they're casting a spell.

"Remember, cloak, and the other ingredients." Vivienne said, suddenly, Belle finds them and the trio runs. "Get them!" Debra exclaims.

Matpat: At that point, the witches catch wind that we're there, and all bets are off. We just have to sprint and run for our lives, trying to distract them away from each other.

"Come here!" Vivienne tried to distract a witch, while grabbing a cloak.

"Found the cloak!" Vivienne said while sprinting.

"Good job." The two boys said.

Vivienne: I've been running so long I don't even know the ingredients we need! I'm exhausted from this whole entire night!

Vivienne gets caught while running from Debra. "No!" Vivienne shouted as Debra cursed her.

Vivienne: My stupid coat got caught from a tree! I don't even know how'd that happen!

"Come on! Can't even spell me and I'm inches away from you!" Matthew spoke while running, but he trips.

"Tomfoolery!" Vivienne scowled.

"Aw damn it!" Matthew said as he fell.

Matpat: I just give myself up to the witches. Doing so I draw them away from Manny and my Anne. But she got cursed somehow, and so have I. What that means, I don't really know, but it can't be anything good.

"What do you have?" Mortimer asks.

"Nothing but a cloak!" Vivienne answered as the cloak was on her back.

"I had random oils, nothing." Manny replied.

"We tried to grab literally anything that we could find." Matthew panted.

Manny: So we're looking over them and we're thinking, what the hell is going on? One walks over to a sundial and we're thinking, this is kinda weird...she walks over it, does something to it, then she walks back. Vivi suggested we should check it out to see if it has any ingredient for our invisibility cloak.

"Oh my god that's it! Come on, quickly." Vivienne grabbed and ingredient.

Matpat: Maybe we should've searched for our invisibility cloak around the edges! Not straight in the middle! Which was correct.

Vivienne: So I put the cloak on me, cast the spell, and turn invisible, I'm living the full fantasy, do I grab an extra cookie from a jar my parents only let me have one? I didn't know what to do, like I was invisible. I could've done anything.

"This only lasts five minutes." Mortimer says.

"Five minutes?" Vivienne asks.

"Go for it sweetheart! You got this!" Matthew says.

Vivienne: I walk in, I see this big pillar and there's nothing that we need! You gotta be kidding not even a single ingredient I need?

"You gotta hurry darling!" Matthew calls.

"Mortimer, you feeling okay hun? It's been a long night. For all of us." Manny asks.

"We just gotta get through this." Mortimer repeated.

"Yeah, yeah, you've proven your trust to us tonight, I was skeptical of you at first but I don't want you to go betraying us, alright?" Matthew asks.

"If there's anything we could help, let us know," said Manny.

"Who would've realized being invisible would be so challenging?" Matthew joked looking at his lover.

"Right, like she is struggling!" Manny spoke.

Vivienne: I look around, I see a briefcase on the floor, these mofos are smart witch bitches cause I saw what you did there! I look inside the briefcase and all of our ingredients is inside here! I grab the ingredients and run for my life. Then we run over to fat man slims.

"They tricked me they hid all this in a briefcase!" Vivienne comments.

"Where is everyone?" Mortimer questioned.

"Oh my god! Oh hey!" Manny says, seeing the Pig Man still waiting.

"We have your supplies..." Matthew told.

Manny: So the smartest people here mix the entire potion and cast the spell and we give it to him and we're like drink this right now!

"Please drink it up sir, me and my Mat have cured snake venom before." Vivienne said.

"I hope you guys did this right." The man said as he drunk the potion.

"Oh, yes, we have cured snake venom." Matthew comments.

"Taste alright?" Vivienne asked.

The man coughs, hysterically, sometimes oinking. "Shit are you okay?" Manny asks.

Manny: He starts just to go in full convulsion and I'm like, girl drink some water!

The man laughs, now with a regular nose.

"Oh good you're okay!" Matthew said happily.

"I can't believe you guys pulled it off." The man said as he slammed his old snout on the table.

"Your nose!" Manny pointed at his snout.

"I owe you one." He said as he walked out.

"Stay away from witches!" Vivienne warned.

"It was deadass violent, honestly." Manny comments.

Vivienne: I've cured a pig man and snake venom, I'm on a roll!

"Oh she's back!" Vivienne waved.

"Hi!" Rosanna waved.

"Are you okay?" Matthew asked.

"I ran from a bunch of witches, I think I got cursed! Not exactly sure what happened. I annoyed her really good though!" Rosanna explained.

"You got cursed too?" Vivienne asked, nervously.

Then, everyone else ran back inside. "What'd you guys have?" Matthew looked at the others.

"A ring! We see you have a nose." Joey says.

"We resurrected your fine ass brother by the way!" Nikita said.

"How fine are we talking?" Manny asks, curious.

"Really cute." Rosanna replied.

"Thank you!" The girl said.

"Wait, this is new." Joey spoke, looking at the paper. "Those of you that have been cursed must now pay the price. To reverse the third curse you must recover your the amulet of youth, by passing through the witches' tangled skein. You are being timed, when the time runs out, those of you left pay with their lives."

Joey: We realize that everyone who's been cursed throughout this whole process, is going into the final death challenge.

"Who was cursed?" Nikita looked at her friends.

"Everyone but you." Joey says as everyone raised their hand.

"What!?" Nikita gasped.

"So we're all gonna compete against each other..." Vivienne spoke.

"Some or one of us are gonna pay the price to cure the amulet." Joey said.

"And cleanse the wickerman..." Matthew adds.

"Shit..." Manny and Vivienne sighed.

Manny: You gotta be kidding me, there's always been two going in, now there's five of us!

Rosanna: I'm not sure about this death challenge! The last one was a trick. I never know what to expect.

The group of five walked into the challenge, seeing Debra, Sandra, and Belle.

"Wish you all well. Good luck." Vivienne said.

"You're being timed within eight minutes. The last few to be left will be sacrificed by the witches. The first is the witches' brew. Second is the witches' hat, third is bobbing for rotten apples. The last is maneuvering their tangle skein without ringing a bell." Manny read.

Joey: so So are four challenges ahead of us, the last people left after eight minutes are up will be sacrificed to the witches.

Matpat: As someone who's already died once, I'm not ready to go back.

Vivienne: We are being timed. It's all under pressure and I'm worried!

Manny: What is the witches' brew? It can't be that bad.

"Begin!" Calliope said, flipping an hourglass as everyone began to drink a cup.

Vivienne gagged after drinking a bit of brew. "Fuck!" She exclaimed.

Manny: I'm not kidding when I said it tasted like literally a rat's ass.

Manny burped, as Rosanna gagged, and Vivienne coughed.

Rosanna: I'm grossed out by the reaction, there's so much bubbly, I'm not used to it!

"Got one!" Joey raised a cup as he burped.

Matthew finished his too, "Good luck!" He went into the next challenge.

Manny: So both Mat and Joey are so quick! They run and I see their little pentagram. I'm like, so it's just me, Ro, and Vivi now.

"Oh my god, I can't do this." Vivienne said as she spit out brew.

Vivienne: The weirdest noises are coming from my body I didn't even know I could make. Rosanna wasn't doing any better.

Rosanna barfed out brew as she coughed.

"Ro please don't!" Vivienne said with a smile

"Oh my god please don't!" Manny said.

Matpat: When it comes to the disc challenge, I'm a pro, I've done this for years.

"Mat! I don't understand!" Joey said about his challenge.

"You got it! Joey!" Matthew cheered.

Rosanna: I'm barfing in my hair, on my clothes, it's even coming out my nose!

"It's in my eye!" Rosanna shrieked.

Matthew quickly bobbed an apple. "Ain't dying again!" He yelled, putting on his glasses and spat out water. Vivienne thought he looked even more attractive.

Joey: Somehow, by the grace of god, I complete my ring challenge, just as Mannt and Vivienne complete the witches' brew.

"Oh my god I can't keep anything down." Rosanna said as Manny and Vivienne laughed at her comments.

"Not dying again!" Matthew successfully crawled.

Matpat: I crawl through, first to reach the witches' altar, I am safe! Thankfully! But I see Ro still on stage one, still looking for the right mug and puking her guts out. I see my Anne, the love of my life, on stage two. I feel awful seeing my best girls like that.

"Ugh I have makeup on!" Manny whined as he had to bob for apples.

Manny: Is there any way I can like, part the water and just bite an apple!

"You guys, we only have three more minutes left!" Vivienne exclaimed, seeing the hourglass as she reached the third challenge.

"Don't worry about your makeup, yall!" Joey said.

Vivienne: Me and Ro are racing against time! I never bobbed for any apples in my life, I hated going to high school parties!

Rosanna: I'm getting more and more nervous as I see my friends completing challenges and the time ticking. I'm still drinking as vivi is still trying to bob an apple.

"I'm just gonna barf." Rosanna said as she took a glance at the hourglass.

"Okay, baby sips, you can get through it. I got through the hotdogs you can do it Ro." Matthew said.

Rosanna gagged and set the cup down. "Don't think about spitting it out, Ro!" Vivienne said as she finally bobbed an apple. She spat it out and wiped her face.

"Oh, my love..." Matthew muttered as he saw the time ticking away as Mannt completed going through the tangled skeins.

Vivienne finally bobbed an apple, but time was running out. Her last challenge was to get through the tangled webs. Vivienne stood there, she knew she wouldn't make it.

The timer ran out. The hourglass' sand reached the below. Eight minutes were up.

Vivienne: I knew I didn't have any time to get through this. I knew I had to die.

"Matthew, you've been the best boyfriend I could ask for, even if we didn't have much time." Vivienne smiled.

"You're the greatest person to love for years." Matthew confessed back.

"I love you, my dear." Vivienne smiled.

"I love you, my love." Matthew said.

"To the moon and back." The two both finished.

"And Ro, you've been the best friend we could ask for." Matthew said.

"Aw, I love you guys." Rosanna smiled, letting go of her cup.

"I'll miss you." Matthew said to the girls, tears threatening to leave his eyes.

"We love you Vivi! We love you Ro!" The group called out. "It's okay! Be brave!"

Rosanna sighed as Belle, Sandra, and Debra brought her to the altar. Vivienne sighed as she was ordered to be right in front of Ro, only watching. She had to watch her best girl die, and she was the next victim right after.

"Ready?" Belle asked the other witches as she raised her knife.

The three witches screamed as they stabbed Rosanna. Rosanna let out a final blood curling scream, and Vivienne cried out tears as she closed her eyes. She didn't want to see any of it.

"You!" Debra pointed at Vivienne as the other witches pulled away Rosanna's bleeding corpse. Vivienne couldn't hear any noise out of Ro. They killed her.

Vivienne accepted her death, she was going to die alone as she was placed on the altar. She saw as the witches lifted up their now bloodied knives. She kept her eyes open as she felt the blade go through her, and she let out a scream. Vivienne closed her eyes, knowing she'd bleed out just as her best friend did. Her last thought was her lover, hoping he could successfully escape unlike her and Ro.

If Rosanna's cry wasn't loud enough for the group to hear, Vivienne's was so loud even Matthew could hear her. That was the last he heard of his lover as he could only walk back to Fat Man Slims with the last of the boys.

"You guys?" Nikita called, she was pacing around in worry.

Nikita: Where is Ro? Where is Vivi? Guys?

"Vivienne will always live in my heart." Matthew spoke, "Ro's memory will live on through her."

"She left her jacket..." Nikita pointed.

"Oh my gosh..." Matthew said as he took the clothing that once belonged to Vivienne.

"This was brand new..." he held the red cardigan, noticing how it was dirtied with all the activities Vivienne gone through.

Matpat: It's so heartbreaking to see my best friend and girlfriend reach such a brutal end like that. i will live for them, I will fight for them, I will survive for them.

"We have the amulet!" Manny said.

Manny: So I place the amulet on her forehead, i swear she was elevating off the ground. She was the young girl!

"Woah! You're a babe!" Manny smiles.

"I have my life back! Thank you everyone!" The girl hugs the remaining group.

Joey: Maria is so cute, I'm just so happy that her and her brother are reunited.

"Sam?!" Maria ran to her brother.

"Your brother!" Nikita yelled as the two ran to each other and engulfed into each other's embrace.

"I thought I would never see you again!" Maria cried.

"Aww!" Manny cooed.

Joey: That reminded us, why we're all here. We're here to help the town.

Manny: I'm thinking like, we're all dying here, but we're saving some people, it's not like we're dying in vain.

"That was so sweet!" Joey hugged Nikita.

"We helped someone." Matthew smiled.

"A happy ending." Manny said.

"Except for my Anne and Ro." Matthew commented, still thinking about the two girls.

"Other than that." Manny quickly corrected.

Joey: It's so close, time is running out.

"Just cleanse it." Nikita said to Manny,

"Let's get out of here." Joey said.

"Yes please." Matthew replied, the group went back to the lounge.

Manny: You know what? we're magical!

"Guys, we only have one more artifact left. We can get out of Everlock." Joey announced.

"Well, two or three of us are." Matthew added.

Matpat: One of those two or three people will be me. I intend to survive. Honoring my Anne and Ro, and keeping my Anne's jacket and hat.

AN HOUR LATER, MATTHEW HAD MET JAEL AND RYU: MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY AGAINST EVIL.

Manny had gotten shot by Nikita in a game. Calliope and Mortimer suffered death from the Carnival Master. Now, Matthew, Joey, and Nikita held life stones watching as Jael, a blonde woman, fought the Carnival Master to death inside his church. They were close to living, so, so close.

"Seek your revenge!" Nikita cheered.

"You got this, Jael!" Matthew cheered along. Jael kicked the Carnival Master to the floor.

"Finish him!" Joey shouted, as Jael cut the carnival master's neck, his death and final moments quickly occurred.

"Is it over?" Matthew asked, looking around.

"Is it done?" Nikita questioned, Jael nods.

Joey: Seeinf the carnival master dead, I'm just so relieved. He's gone.

"Thank you." Matthew said. "This is what you came for, Joey."

Matpat: Jael points to a crystal on the carnival master's chest, that's somehow for Joey.

"The spell has been broken, your contract is complete." Jael said as Joey brightened.

"You're free." Nikita spoke, happily.

"Everlock now has a future." Jael declared.

Nikita: Oh my god, we're getting out of here. we're getting out of here alive.

The trio hugged each other. "We did it!" Joey exclaimed.

"We freaking did it!" Matthew yells. "Let's get out of this stupid town!"

"We're going home." Nikita said as the trio placed the three life stones around the carnival master.

Matpat: We make our way out of the church just as dawn is breaking. We walk through this town and we take a moment to reflect on all the sacrifices that got us here.

Nikita: Tonight, I found the strength, this will to fight, and as messed up as it is, it has been a gift from this sick and twisted town.

"I'm gonna miss manny." Nikita spoke, even though she killed him.

"I'm gonna miss My Anne and Ro." Matthew adds.

Matpat: I have the last few things I need to save. Blanche and a small elephant that belonged to Anne. I wrap the elephant around in My Anne's coat. When I get home I plan to name her  elephant.

"I never knew I had such good friends." Joey spoke.

Joey: What I want more than anything at this point, is to make up all the wrongs, and make it right.

"At least now you're alive." Nikita spoke, Joey hesitated before walking out the town, the two survivors looked at him.

"There's one more thing I need to do. I'll meet you on the other side, okay?" Joey told them and the two nodded.

"See you in a minute." Matthew said.

Matpat: Nikita and I are like, well, you have your own business so good luck, but don't be too long like we're running out of here!

The two survivors, Nikita and Mat, who used to be enemies and had their fair share of quarrels, walked through the curtains a murderous clown opened, laughing and enjoying their victory. Knowing the death of their friends will haunt them the next night.

The group walked in with eleven into Everlock, now only three return to their home.

Joey: There's definitely something more I have to do, and I need to figure it out what it is.

Joey walked back inside the church, and took out the crystal on the Carnival Master's chest. "The Carnival Master has a crystal that can bring your friends from the past, back to life." Joey remembers what Jael told him. He stood and gazed at the crystal, viewing each death of some friends.

IJustine, Lele Pons, Destorm Power, Gabbie Hannah, Alex Wassabi, Colleen Balinger, Rosanna Pansino, Vivienne Fontaine.

"Joey! Are you there? This is your chance to make things right. Please, we need you. Come save us." Joey could hear Liza Koshy as her face appeared to be on the Crystal.

Joey realized. This could be another mission to make things right.
