Reaper's P.O.V
Reaper slashed his scythe. This was the last soul he had to reap for the day, and he was exhausted. After he watched the monster's body turn to dust, he put his scythe away and headed home. Geno should be waiting at home for his arrival.
On the way back, Reaper happened to run into Toriel. She greeted him happily. "Ah, Reaper! Finished reaping?"
Reaper nodded and rubbed the back of his neck. "Yep. Something ya need?"
Toriel shook her head. "I just haven't seen you in a long time. I must ask, how's Geno?"
"Geno? He's perfect as always," Reaper said with a slight smile. "Hey, how about we go out to dinner tonight? There's a new restaurant that just recently opened. You know, to catch up."
"That sounds like fun," Toriel said. "It would be nice to catch up after so long."
Reaper nodded in agreement. "Well, I'll see you then."
They said their goodbyes before leaving. Once Reaper got home, Geno welcomed him like always and sat him on the couch.
"Do you need anything?" Geno asked. "You seem tired."
Reaper shrugged. Geno always knew when something was wrong. "Just a nap. Can you wake me up in a hour? Me and Tori are going out to dinner tonight."
Geno's eyes darkened, but he kept the smile on his face. "...Why?"
"Just to catch up, haven't seen each other in a while." Reaper replied, chuckling at his reaction. "Oh yeah, can I borrow a kiss? I promise I'll give it back~"
Geno blushed a bright blue but pulled Reaper into a kiss anyway. Reaper returned the kiss, just like he promised. They kissed for a few moments before Geno pulled away, still blushing.
"Go to sleep now," Geno said, pushing Reaper back on the couch. "I'll wake you up later."
Reaper nodded, and laid back on the couch. As Geno walked away, Reaper couldn't help but cast his eyes downwards.
"One last thing," Reaper said with a smirk. Geno stopped and turned his head to look at him, a non-extent eyebrow raised.
"What is it?" Geno asked, slightly suspiciously of Reaper's smirk.
Reaper's smirk widened. "Is that a phone in your back pocket? Because I can hear that ass calling me~"
Geno blushed even more. "I'm a skeleton, I don't have an ass!" Geno retorted, trying to hide the fact that he's flustered.
Reaper winked. "My point still stands."
"Go to sleep!" Geno huffed, storming into the other room.
"Are you a parking ticket?" Reaper called. "'Cause you got fine written all over you~"
"Why must you have a dirty mind?" Geno yelled from the other room.
Reaper chuckled. He loved making Geno flustered. "I don't have a dirty mind, I have a sexy imagination~"
Suddenly Geno stormed in, his face bluer then ever. He threw a blanket over Reaper and held him against the couch.
"If you don't go to sleep, I will fucking drug you." Geno growled menacingly. Reaper would of been terrified if Geno's face wasn't burning with the color blue.
"But you are my drug," Reaper replied, smirking.
Geno stared at Reaper for a few moments before dragging Reaper in their room. He made Reaper lay on the bed, still fuming with anger, even though his face looked like a blueberry.
When Geno walked away, Reaper opened his mouth to say something but Geno shot him a deadly glare. Slightly terrified, Reaper closed his mouth. Satisfied that Reaper wouldn't try to throw any more pick up lines, Geno left.
After a hour, Geno woke Reaper up. When he looked at the clock, he noticed that he would have to meet Toriel in two hours. When Geno left the room, Reaper quietly slipped into the closet. He fumbled in the dark for a few moments before grabbing something.
When he pulled his hand out, he had a small box. He opened it slightly, and breathed a small sigh of relief when the item in the box wasn't gone. Slipping the tiny box in his pocket, Reaper found Geno waiting for him in the living room.
"Something you need?" Reaper asked. Judging by Geno's expression, he had something on his mind.
"Where are you going to meet up Toriel?" Geno asked, slightly suspicious.
Reaper rolled his eyes. He knew Geno was just being protective. After all, he lost all oh his loved ones and friends. Who could blame him?
"We're just going to that restaurant that recently opened." Reaper replied. "Like I said, we haven't seen each other in a long time so we're just catching up."
Geno slowly nodded. Reaper could see the uncertainty in his eyes, but Geno let him go. Once Reaper arrived at the new restaurant, he saw Toriel waiting for him. She was wearing her usual clothing, and a bright smile on her face when she saw him.
Once they were seated, a waitress came up to them with a friendly smile on her face. "Good evening! Welcome to, -insert restaurant name lol-! We have main dishes for couples if you would like to have a look."
Toriel giggled. "Oh no, we're not a couple. We're just friends."
Reaper nodded in agreement. There was no way in hell would he cheat on Geno. The thought made him feel sick.
"Oh, I see." The waitress cleared her throat. "Anyway, are there any drinks you would like?"
"Just water," Toriel replied.
"Ketchup," Reaper responded with a grin.
The waitress gave him a odd look but nodded and left. Soon, she returned with their drinks and said that she'll be back shortly with their orders.
Toriel and Reaper talked for a bit. They laughed, and soon caught up. Soon their orders arrived. Thanking the waitress, they continued to laugh and talk.
"I'm so glad we could have a chance to just sit down and chat," Toriel said, her smile bright as the sun.
Reaper nodded in agreement. "Hey Tori, could you help me with something?"
Toriel nodded. "Of course! What is it?"
Reaper hesitated, and pulled out the small box. "So, I have been wanting to do this for a long time, but..."
Geno's P.O.V
Geno felt silly watching Reaper and Toriel, but he couldn't help it. He felt like they might do something behind his back, but then he felt guilty for even considering the possibility. Soon, the night was about to end and they were finishing their meals. Geno sighed and was able to leave when Reaper suddenly pulled out a small box.
Geno's soul stopped beating for a second, but then he convinced himself that it was probably nothing and he was overreacting, but just to make sure he continued to watch. His question was soon answered when Reaper opened the box, to reveal a diamond ring.
Toriel gasped, and covered his mouth. Her eyes were wide as moons as she stared at the ring. Geno could only stare at the scene. Choking back a sob, he rushed home.
"That stupid reaper!" Geno yelled, punching a random tree. His fist started to bleed slightly, but he ignored the pain. His heart hurt even more. They were together for years, and Reaper decides to throw all of that away for Toriel?
"I should of never let myself get close," Geno growled, wiping the tears away. "I will just loose everyone..."
Geno offered Reaper all the love he could, and then Reaper throws it all away as if it was nothing. And the worst part is he still loved that stupid reaper. He still wants Reaper with him, despite everything.
Reaper is going to have a bad time...
Reaper's P.O.V
"Thanks for the advise, Tori!" Reaper said, as they parted ways.
Toriel grinned and waved goodbye. "Your welcome! Remember, even if Geno says no, he still loves you."
Reaper nodded and headed home. He glanced at the ring for a brief moment before putting it away with a sigh. He was nervous as hell, but he had nothing to loose right?
Returning home, he opened the door. The house was dark and slightly creepy, but ignored the strange atmosphere. "Geno, I'm back!"
When there was no response, Reaper frowned. Usually Geno greeted Reaper home with open arms. Maybe he was asleep?
His question was soon answered when he saw Geno's glowing eye. He looked beyond pissed, and Reaper couldn't help but feel frightened.
"...Geno?" Reaper asked quietly. "Is everything okay?"
In a flash, Reaper was pinned to the wall with Geno's hand at his throat. Reaper stared wide-eyed as Geno glared at him with hatred. Reaper couldn't help but notice that his face was still wet from crying.
"Don't act all innocent!" Geno hissed. "I know what you did!"
Even though Reaper was terrified, he didn't fight back. "W-What did I do?"
"Don't act stupid!" Geno snarled, his words laced with hatred and hurt. "I saw you and Toriel together!"
"L-Like I said, we were just catching up." Reaper replied, surprisingly calm. He felt as if his non-extent heart was going to explode out of his chest.
Geno shook his head. "No! I saw you and the ring!"
Reaper froze. He still had the ring in his pocket. In his entire life, the thought of proposing to Toriel never crossed his mind. He wanted to propose to Geno ever since they started to live together, but he wasn't sure how to approach him.
"T-The ring...?" Reaper echoed. "No, it's not what you think. I still have it."
Geno stared at Reaper in shock. New tears started to form. "B-But I saw you giving it to her..."
"You saw me show it to her," Reaper correctly quietly. "I was just asking her for help. I-I wanted to propose to you, not her."
Geno's hand released Reaper's throat and he stumbled back. Geno covered his face, crying mumbling 'I'm sorry' over and over. Reaper greedily gasped for air, and rubbed his sore throat.
"P-Please don't cry," Reaper murmured. "All the tears are going to make me cry to, heh."
Geno didn't stop. He couldn't stop.
After a minute of silence, Reaper spoke. "Knock knock," Reaper said quietly.
Geno sniffed. "W-Who's there...?"
"Marry,"
"...Marry who?"
When Geno removed his hands away from his face he saw Reaper kneeling in front of him, staring up at him with his eyes filled with hope and in his hands was the diamond ring.
"Marry me?"
