Gone
"I can't believe he's gone."
"We should have payed more attention to him. This is our fault." Tears rolled down the faces of the six boys as they watched their friend's ashes be thrown into the water. It had been a month since the youngest member of BTS had committed suicide. No one had expected it from the lively maknae. He had always been cheering the others up and no one had noticed how much he had been struggling himself.
"I need to go home." Jimin cried as he slowly turned around, walking in the opposite direction. He pulled Tae along with him.
"I should h-have know, T-tae. I was with him w-when he jumped. I s-should have known!" Jimin sunk to his knees, screaming. He couldn't believe he had missed it.
(flashback)
"Hyung, lets go over to that cliff. The sunset looks so pretty from there." Jungguk called to Jimin.
"I'm coming."
"It looks so pretty, doesn't it. I wish this could last longer."
"What do you mean?"
"Hmm? Oh, nothing. I'm going to walk over there. You can stay here. I'm sorry, goodbye." The last part he whispered to himself, not wanting Jimin to hear.
When he got far enough away, he started walking closer to the edge. "I'm sorry, Jimin. I'm sorry, hyungs. I'm sorry, Army. I'm sorry that I'm not strong enough to keep going. I'm sorry." Jungguk muttered to himself as a tear rolled down his face. He began to walk over when Jimin came sprinting to him.
"Kookie! No, please don't do this!" Jimin screamed, trying desperately to get his friend and bandmate to stop.
"I'm sorry Jimin," Jungguk responded as he turned around. With that he turned back and jumped off of the cliff into the angry waves below.
(end)
"T-tae" He sobbed into Taehyungs shirt gripping it tightly as he slid to the ground, not caring about the people around them stopping to stare.
"Jiminie, there's nothing you could have done. He made the choice before you reached him.
"You don't get it. You weren't there! You weren't the one who watched him jump! You didn't watch him fall! You didn't see him die," Jimin was a wreck. The news of the young idols suicide had gone public a week after Jimin had watched him jump. Since then, Armys had been sending them hundreds of letters and gifts everyday. They knew their fans just wanted to help, but the constant reminder that he was gone just made it worse.
"I'm sorry hyung. You're right. I wasn't there. It still hurts for us too. Let's go home." All Jimin could do was nod as Tae helped him up and walked home.

A/N
I'm sorry this is so short. Its my first story. I don't really know how long it will be. I'm going to try and update it every five days.
Please let me know if you like it or not. I'll publish three chapters and if I get enough people who like it I'll keep writing, but if not I'll probably just scrap.
Anyway, I hope everyone is staying safe during this pandemic. I purple you!
