I chased after the couple, waving my arms. They waved back, smiling. "What's up?" Percy asked when I was finally close enough to talk. "Zeus." I panted. Percy cracked up and Annabeth grinned. Once I had caught my breath, I started. "I wanted to talk to Percy," Annabeth opened her mouth to speak, but I continued before she could say anything. "But I think Annabeth should know. . . ." Taking a deep breath, I finally plucked up every single ounce of courage I could find, and told them. "For a long time, I had a, well, um," Just say it Nico! I yelled at myself. "Ihadamajorcrushonyou." "Whoa, back up." Percy said. I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for the names to start. "Slow down Nico." I breathed a sigh of relief, and looked up. Annabeth's eyes were twinkling, and I realized she knew exactly what I had said. I took a deep breath and started again. "I had a crush on you." It took a couple seconds, but then his head whipped back and forth between Annabeth and I. "You had a crush on Annabeth." He stated. His eyes started to darken, and he scowled, trying (and failing) to look scary. I mean, I had seen (and experienced) scary and Percy? Well, he definitely wasn't scary. I couldn't help it, I started to laugh, and so did Annabeth. Percy just stood there, very confused, and a bit hurt. When I had finally calmed down enough to talk, I straightened things out. "No Percy," I said, wiping tears from my eyes. "I had a crush on you. I'm over it though. You're not my type." Annabeth held up her hand for a high five, and I obliged. She winked,and I smiled. I turned and started back towards the infirmary, where I'll spend three days of torture, around Solace, who I admit, I have a tinsy little crush on, and I know for a fact, that he's not like me, so it's torture because I will have to see him, and not well, be with him, if you know what I mean. (dating). As I walked, I heard Percy behind me. "WHAT DOES HE MEAN I'M NOT HIS TYPE?!?!?!?" He whisper yelled to Annabeth, "I'M EVERYONE'S TYPE!!!!" Annabeth just shook her head at him and laughed. When I reached the infirmary, there was Will, standing there arms crossed, and both eyebrows raised. He was looking behind me, at the scene I had just walked away from. "What did you tell Percy? He looked completely shell shocked!!" Will said laughing. I bit my lip, unsure if I was ready to tell him. I decided to wait for a little bit, so I just shrugged and crossed my arms. "Let's go Solace. I want to get this over with." And with that, I marched into the infirmary.
