Chapter Nine

I was talking to Jacob at my house. He was visiting for summer break. Along with Rebecca who was sitting next to him in the dining room. We were all laughing and having a good time together. Mandy was grilling outside and we were all staying in the dining room talking while talking about how Jacob's college experience was coming along.

"He's doing so well," says Rebecca.

"Yeah. I even got my first honor medal for the first time. I even got student of the year and made it to the presidents list," says Jacob.

"I smiled at my little brother. "That's great, Jacob," I answered back.

Jacob smiled at me. "So, we do have some news for you today," says Jacob.

"A surprise?" I said.

Yeah. Um," Jacob looks at Rebecca and Rebecca looked at Jacob before they both looked at me.

"Rebecca is pregnant," says Jacob.

"What? I'm gonna be an uncle?" I said, in excitement.

"Yes!" Jacob said, in excitement.

"Oh, yes!" I said, as I stood up from my chair. "Come here, little bro," I said in excitement once more. Jacob stood up from his chair and walked up to me. Jacob and I hugged. "Congratulations," I said.

"Thank you, thank you!" says Jacob. After we had stopped hugging. I then hugged Rebecca next, and she smiled.

"Congratulations; Rebecca!" I said.

Rebecca laughed. Thank you!" says Rebecca.

We then stopped hugging. I took a deep breath and sighed. "Wow. Jacob is going to be a dad," I said, chuckling. Jacob smiled at me.

"I'm proud of you, Jacob. You are doing so well," I said in a calm voice.

"Thank you, Ryan," Jacob answered back. Jacob smiled at me.
I smiled at him once again. I sighed.

The same night Jacob came to visit, I was sitting on the living room couch while drinking my wine but this time it was white wine. I don't drink red wine anymore because it gave me a flashback of seeing Heather's blood. So I was on my computer, doing more research on Ella Mogen.

It was currently 3 in the morning and I had to get up for work in three hours. Detective Sailor explained to me the day I went to talk to him at the police station, told me that Ella Mogen was last seen with Megan York before she died. Unfortunately, Ella had been spying on Megan. Ella had been spying on Megan for months.

Unfortunately, Megan knew Ella, who forced Heather into accusing Jacob for the crime and Heather committed suicide because she felt guilty. In criminal cases, I have the authority to charge people for breaking the law because I am the prosecutor in North Dakota.

In addition, I am responsible for juvenile justice, child support and termination of parental rights, legal services for county agencies, involuntary mental health commitments, and civil commitments of those who pose a risk to public safety.

I was involved in a civil case against the defendant named Joanna Macks who violated their bond. A bond breach can be defined as either violating the terms of a bail bond or the terms of an agreement between a bond issuer and a bondholder: Bond contract When a bondholder or issuer violates a legally binding covenant in the bond's agreement, it is referred to as a bond violation.

The bond's indenture contains certain covenants, which are intended to safeguard the interests of both parties. Judge Lawrence issued a warrant for Joanna's arrest.

I headed out to my car after leaving the courthouse and I opened my car door. After opening my door, I got in my car and sat in my driver's seat. After I turned on my car, after laying my briefcase on the passenger seat, I pulled the gear in reverse and then I pulled out of the parking lot. I then pulled the gear in drive.

After leaving work, I drove straight home. Once I arrived home, Jacob was still staying for the week with Mandy and I. Him and Rebecca were sleeping in the guest room. Until Jacob had woken up from his nap and saw me cooking into my home.

"Hey," says Jacob, smiling at me. Jacob was going down the stairs.

"Hey," I answered back.

"So, how was work?" Jacob asked.

I took a deep breath and said, "well you know, it's stressful as always," I answered back, chuckling. I laid down my briefcase on the living room couch.

"Oh, well, you're a lawyer, it's got to be stressful. Is it a lot more stressful than it was when you were in law school?" says Jacob.

"Yeah, definitely," I answered, chuckling.

"Hey, I wanted to talk to you about something," I said to Jacob.

"What's up?" Jacob wondered.

"You haven't been getting any weird messages from this person saying that Heather was innocent, since unfortunately, Heather had known someone who forced her into accusing you of the murder of Izza and you know, what happened to Heather," I explained.

"Not that I know of," says Jacob.

I sighed. I just stood where I was, thinking for a second about the fact why Ella Magen would tell me Heather is innocent for accusing Jacob.

"Unfortunately I am looking for this person. Her name is Ella Mogen. Does that name sound familiar to you?" I said.

Jacob nods his head no. I nodded my head, understanding Jacob. I smiled at Jacob and Jacob smiled back at me.
