Why did I run away again? It...was an accident, he didn't mean to! He was just playing around... but...why am I such a sour... b..b..b.. BITCH all the time..? I was...so happy... I was laughing... he was so close...

I felt like I could hear his heartbeat if I was any closer... well... he doesn't have a heartbeat but...still..
I blushed more..

Sans POV

I knocked on Chara's door, "hey, uh... I'm.. sorry, kid.."

Silence

"I didn't mean to... y'know.." "I guess I got a lil carried away... heheh.."

"I.. was actually having fun with you though.. uhm... ki- .. Chara.." I blushed when I said her name.

She slowly opened her door looking at me, face red,hair messy. Her hood was off this time.. "Finally.. I thought you wouldn't come out.. heh.." I grinned
"yeah.." "Heh... some things never change huh?"
"Hmm.." she said with a smile. "Yeah...I guess you're right...but, I don't think it's nostalgia if it happened a few hours ago." She said laughing.

Her laugh was so pretty.. well to me at least... it was quiet but at the same time it was like a light chuckle. The way her chest moved up and down whenever she laughed harder... and her smile... it wasn't the same creepy,sadistic smile from... back than. "Well, everyone will be home late so... you wanna go do somethin'.. or... somethin'?"
"Like?"
"Go out somewhere, anywhere."
"Oh, hm.."
"maybe even a road trip?"
"Oh?"
"Just... come with me,okay?" I put my hand out, waiting for her to grab it, smiling. I noticed she hesitated at first...was she scared of me.. or was she scared of.. me..? "Kid,I promise you,I don't bite." I said winking.
"tch.." she grabbed my hand and blushed slightly. "I know.." she said under her breath looking down.
I held her hand and we teleported.

Chara POV

Waterfall..?

Why were we here? What was he planning? Is this considered a.. d..d.. DATE!? My grip tightened, my heartbeat grew faster.

"Kid, you alright? We're almost there,so hang on tight, okay?"

When we got there, I looked and saw a river, and flower petals leading to a secret area. "Just cross this,okay?" "Since you used to be with Frisk, I can say you've seen this area, before?"

He said to me shyly, he was considerate enough not to bring up then. "Yeah.. I have." I said, slowly stepping on the flower to the bench behind the seaweed covering.
This place always calmed me down. Sans sat next to me. "Peaceful,huh?" He said. "Mhm.." I said with my eyes closed. "This is where I come for my best naps.." "the sound of the rushing water gets me straight to sleep, heh.."
His voice was so deep but so light... it had a soft tone to it, and the volume was exactly right.. I could listen to his voice forever...

Before I knew it, I was asleep. But, guessing by how quiet it was, we might have been asleep for hours.. well... I might have been asleep for a long time, since.. I could hear something in the background. Talking..

"I didn't think I'd find you both here."
"Eh,yeah, it got boring in the house so we left."
"I knew you guys would be best buddies."
"Uh... y-yeah.. heheh.."
"Well, I'm done with my meeting,so.."
"Really? Geez, we've been asleep for a long time.. I didn't think my laziness would affect her, heheh.."
"Eh, but she hasn't slept for a while.. well, she'd always sleep when people were gone.. I guess she was afraid of being killed in her sleep or something stupid like that.."
"I'm glad you got her to fall asleep normally."
"Thank you, Sans."
"No problem, Frisk."
"Well she should get her home."
"Alright,"

I felt someone pick be up, securely but, gently. These hands were cold..but, also.. warm in a weird way. I was on his back. Wasn't I to heavy? But, he talked with ease. Sans was carrying me.
I felt his body go up and down, supposedly walking. When someone broke the silence.
"Hey, Sans?"
"Hm?"
"You free tomorrow morning?"
"That was a dumb question, of course, I've got no plans."
"Well."
"You wanna get something to eat or something tomorrow?"
I could feel his low gasp. "Heh. Sure,why not?"

I couldn't see, but I could feel Frisk radiating with joy. And after that, for some reason... I felt... I felt myself get angry.. my heartbeat got faster... my stomach started to hurt.. my throat got a bit tighter.. I didn't like this feeling. Why was I getting it? I'm not hungry? I don't have to use the bathroom. Was it... no... it couldn't be...

Sans and Frisk are just going on a friendly day tomorrow... together... only them... they've... been friends from the beginning.. since Frisk fell..of course they're gonna be close.. very close... anything.. could happen... anything— I gasped opening my eyes. Frisk turned around and Sans looked up. "Chara? Hey,sleepy head!" Frisk said smiling. She was to happy...
"Hey kid, you're awake now, had a good nap?"
"Uh... yeah.."

We arrived at the house and sans put me down when we got inside. "Well,I'm gonna hit the hay, 'night, guys." Sans yawned out.
"Goodnight, Sans" Frisk said.
"Sans... wait.." I said..
"Hm?" He said turning around. Frisk also looked at me questionable.
"T....t...thank.. y..y..o.." I couldn't get my words out till...
Sans came over and put his hand on my soft, fluffy, red head,Petting me.
"No problem... Chara." He said looking me in the eyes smiling.
I blushed, looking back at him, I couldn't get the words out but, he knew what I was going to say.

He walked to his room,hands in his pocket, his boned legs walking slowly.
He was a skeleton but.. he was so... alive..
Sans... Why do you put up with me? We've been enemies through time.. for every reset.. so.. why are you so quick to being nice too me?
Sans... I couldn't get it out.. but..
