Friday. Today I was out to meet Esmé, she said she wanted to meet me about something..

I hope it wouldn't be to awkward.. especially after what had happened.. I started to get flustered and blush.. I hope it was something good.. I'd been meaning to spend time with her.. along with being pretty hungry..

Heh.. when she said cafe..I got hungry..my non-existent stomach might have growled..

As I appeared at the place I heard someone's footsteps run towards me and call out my name..

"Sansy!" I heard them say-

Wait.. was that Esmé..?

I turned around and I immediately flinched and choked on air..-

(I forgot the mole on her cheek-)
Was that.. Esmé..? I could spot that peachy hair anywhere.. but.. was it really her..? I mean..

I'm not saying she didn't look.. good.. but she looked.. different..

"Sorry.. I can feel the confusion on your face, but it's me.. Esmé! I thought it was time I showed you.. my.. y'know.. entire face.. hehe.." she said as she twirled a piece of hair around her index finger..

So it was her.. I took a few seconds to look her up and down.. then my gaze directed specifically to her eyes..

There was no color.. just the fading of a very light blue.. like the ocean mixed with the baby blue sky..

They were beautiful.. I felt my face go hot and I started to sweat..

"Here! You were taking a long time to show up so I just bought your drink for you! It's a coffee.. since.. you can't stay awake for to long." She said, smiling at me..

"Heh.. thanks.." I said as I took the coffee from her and mixed it around.. "What did you wanna tell me, anyway?", her face lit up but she looked a bit nervous..

"I guess.. you already should have guessed that.."

"I can't see." She said, laughing it off.. still holding onto her beautiful smile..

I choked on my coffee when she said that.. that really explained a lot of stuff.. along with her eyes..

"I thought I'd tell you since.. I just wanted to clear up.. that you don't have to feed me or look after me and stuff! I can do all that on my own!" She shouted softly..

"So.. we can stay together.. we don't need to break apart over that..I'm perfectly capable of doing my life like anyone else.." her voiced softened as she looked away..

"Heh.. I know, it just.. surprising.. " I said as I put my hand in her head, petting her.. she smiled at me..

"Yeah.. but, this won't change our relationship.. right?"
"Of course not. Hell, this makes me love you even more!"
"How..so?"

I hugged her, lifting up her bangs to kiss her forehead.. "Because now, I get to spend more time with you."

She giggled as she kissed my cheeks, but quickly pulling away due to the people walking by.

(499 words! Super short chapter, but the next chapter will be longer! (Hopefully) no this is not a Sans x Esmé I repeat! I'm just building up for a climax and still pondering about making a part 2 chapter 1 here or in another book! 🤔🤔🤔)
