Chara-

Today was a weird morning. Very weird. Frisk was gone, but an unknown number was looking for her. They said in the voicemails she missed 3 meetings already. from 1-2:00 discussing the habitations of monsters, than 4-5:00 for the monsters' intentions, than 7,9:00 for what we plan to do about the monsters and if they mean peace.

It was alot.. so many speeches she'd have to make without reusing the same statements in such a short amount of time. Was it like this for her everyday? Maybe she took a break? I would. But, she never came home is what I'm worried about. She'd always text me, send me a picture of herself, saying she's okay, but i never could know her location. It was usually the grass, sky, or just a black background. I couldn't say I'm not worried, but at the same time, she looked happy in the photos so I was.. okay?

Papyrus was gone today, as usual, Toriel too. Asriel was in the garden planting flowers, (yes we have a garden). Asgore, of course wasn't around. MTT doing his show. Sans was out at his station, (finally), and I, was left home alone..

I hated being home alone. There was nothing to do, nobody to talk to. We barely bought board games and if we did, it was only multiplayer. Not for home alone play. I guess this house wasn't intended... When was Sans coming home? When was anyone coming home? Maybe- than I heard the back-door open.

"What a day- oh! Howdy Chara! I didn't know you were still here! Or.. up for that matter." It was Asriel.. my little brother,best friend,and my ex-enemy. (She didn't like Flowey). "Oh, hey Azzy. How is the garden?" I asked looking at him, with a small grin on my face. Asriel has been my first friend since I fell down, which stoned turned into my step-brother.. it all happened so quickly.. but I guess we're considered legally related now. Since Toriel adopted me as soon as  me and Frisk got separated...

"I got out all the weeds today! And managed to plant some wild flowers to! We also have lots of snails roaming around as well, so mom has enough to make her Snail Pie!" Gross. Snail pie.. Asriel always said it was tasty.. but maybe it was his goat instincts..

I'd never told Asriel but once I'd seen him eat the hair off of my old doll from when I was little.. maybe he was just.. still teething? Even though he was 5? Eh.. I've just always kept this secret from him.

"These flowers will be amazing when bloomed for a good price, at dad's flower shop!" He smiled happily.. "probably not. People only come in for either funerals,weddings,or for pictures.." I frowned but not visibly.
I wish I could be as positive as Asriel. He'd always smile even when he was sad.. even in death.. he smiled... 

"Off the flower topic, how are you and Sans going?" He said while wiping the sweat off his forehead, and taking off his padded, dirty, gloves.
"Huh..? Sans.. why Sans?" I said, with a small tint of blush on my cheeks.
"Well, Don't you like him?"
"W-what?! Who said t-that?!" I said blushing violently, a bit angry.
"Ah, I was just assuming Papyrus' word. That's what he told me at least.. maybe it was stupid to think-"

I quickly grabbed Asriel by the collar of his undershirt. "Papyrus.. told you that..?" I knew I looked furious,I could see my bright red eyes shine through Asriel's eyes. "C-Chara.. your scaring me.." he said, his voice deeper than before trying to sound tough.. but I could see his fear.. he looked like he was going to cry. He always was a crybaby.
"Sorry.. I just.."
"So.. you do like him..?"
"....yeah.."

"That's great, Chara! I knew you'd fall in love one day! I just.. didn't know it would be with Sans of all monsters! Eheheh!~" his tail wagged, his face bright again.. "Also." He said in a serious but sweet tone. "Yeah..?" I said looking up from looking down at the floor, I guess he saw me looking worried.."

"Chara, there is nothing to be worried about! I won't tell anyone else! Especially not Sans!" He said, petting the top of my head gently.. he always was taller.. even if he is 2 years younger.. when did he get tall like this anyway..
I exhaled in relief.. I trusted Asriel.. I could depend on him for anything.. the best brother I could ever have.. he was always there and he always spoke his mind.. he never told lies,and he kept promises.. He was truly someone that I could call a brother..

"Thank you.. Azzy.."
"No problem! That's what best friends are for!" He said as he wrapped his arms around me pulling me into a deep embrace.

His fur is so warm.. but.. the perfect temperature at the same time.. I felt stronger on the inside every time he'd lift my spirits.. his words truly inspired me.. even if it wasn't anything but a simple "Thank you"

"I promise I won't tell anyone Chara! I swear!-"
"We don't swear." I said smiling and hugging him back, but than the hug ended and he put his arms on both my shoulders."Than! Uh.. I..I"
He was getting ready to say something very good. Very surprising.. very.. extraordinary?

He than put up his pinkie, still looking me in the eyes, more serious, no smile this time. But that soft tone was still in his eyes.. he looked motivated.. determined even..

"Chara Dreemurr! As I! Your brother, and best friend Asriel! I promise you! I Pinkie-Promise you! That I shall not speak, nor say anything about you and Sans, or your crush on Sans! At all!"

"Do you trust me with this secret, Chara?"
I smiled, I actually smiled,than chuckled.. than snorted.. than laughed.. and looked at him. "Yes, Ex-Prince Asriel Dreemurr.. I trust you with this sacred secret. Keep it safe till I let you tell." I smiled and rolled my eyes.
Than I put up my pinkie, and they interlocked.

"I pinkie promise!" He said smiling from... floppy ear to ear..

(Sorry this chapter is so late! I got road blocked! I actually thought this chapter wasn't going to be that long, but I got to 1076 words! I'll be sure to try and make more chapters as fast as I can! >3<)
