Sasuke sat up once Sakura finished stopping their blood flow and bandaged them. Naruto sat up as well.

Sakura eyes lands on Naruto. "I thought I told you not to be so reckless!" She snaps bopping him on the head.

"Oow, Sakura." Naruto pokes his bottom lip out using his only hand to rub the spot she had hit. Sasuke smirked looking at the only two people he every truly cared about. Granted he tried to kill them. And he knew if he hated them as much as he lead others to believe, he definately would've done so. But he loves them; both of them. They were his family.

Naruto; his brother. The only person who understood what it was like not to have a family. Granted, the people in the village put Sasuke on some sort of pedestal, and Sasuke hated every bit of it. He'd wanted to be left alone. Naruto didn't treat him like the Uchiha were so great and he was the only remaining one left aside from his late brother. Naruto treated him as an equal. Like a friend, a companion; teammate. A brother. The only person who never gave up on him. Who knew he'd eventually come back to the village. Who knew he wasn't himself. He'd forever be in Naruto's debt.

Kakashi; his father. The only person relatively close to being a father figure to him. He respected Kakashi. He never steered Sasuke, Naruto or Sakura wrong. He protected them. "Those who break the rules are considered scum. Those who abandon their friends and Comrades are worst than scum." Kakashi taught them that. He taught them teamwork. He paved the way for them in a way. He  was their teacher. He would always be special to Sasuke.

Sakura; he couldn't explain just how Sakura made him feel. His stomach did cartwheels everytime she said his name. When she touched him he wanted to melt. But on the flipside, she was clingy. She was annoying. But being around Karin made him realize that he missed her. He missed how she cried out for him when he was injured. How she'd always pick the flowers she'd find on their missions and bring them back to the Yamanka shop so Ino, her friend and rival for Sasuke's heart, would tell her all about the flower. He missed the way she'd blush when they'd make eye contact which forced Sasuke to look away from her. He missed how she always missed her footing during training and fall, then blame Naruto for being in her way. She chased after his love while he chased after power. And despite him trying to kill her, she sat here before him, and healed him. It made his heart heavy. He felt like a complete jackass.

"I'm glad you're okay." Sakura spoke softly before leaning in and hugging Naruto once they stood to their feet. Naruto smiled warmly, wrapping his lone arm around the Pinkette's waist. Dipping his face into the crook of her neck. This was the only time Sakura was gentle to him, he wanted to savor it. She was truly the sister and best friend he'd ever have. He appreciated Sakura so much. Regardless of how much she called him an Idiot or how much she'd hit him for using his Sexy Jutsu or insulting Lady Tsunade. She's been behind him all the way.

"I'm sorry Sakura." His raspy voice says. "I-I didn't mean to worry you."

Sakura pulled away from the hug and looked at him. She ruffled his hair and chuckled. "I know."

Her eyes lands on Sasuke as he looked at the two interacting with one another. He'd never seen Sakura be so nice to Naruto. Ever.

Their eyes lock. Sasuke's heart skips a beat. Sakura's breath hitches. Seeing the this sight, Naruto smiled and slightly pushed Sakura towards Sasuke. Stumbling forward slightly she trembled being so close to Sasuke. They stared at one another awkwardly. Both waiting for the other to make the first move.

"Aren't you glad that Sasuke is alive too Sakura?" Naruto smirks. "He's back."

"Is that so?" Sakura continues to stare at Sasuke she reached up and clonked Sasuke on the head gaining a wince from the raven. Naruto's mouth dropped. Sasuke rubbed the spot and looked at Sakura.

"That's for trying to kill me." She frowns. She hits him again. "That's for trying to kill Naruto." Then again. "And that's for trying to kill Kakashi." As Sakura raised her hand again, Sasuke flinched waiting for the impact. But what he felt wasn't a hit, instead it was her gentle hand around his neck as she pulled him into an embrace. "Fucking idiot. Don't do that shit again alright?!" He felt her grip his hair and sob into his neck. His heart broke. He wrapped his arm around her waist, hating himself for the fact that he had no arm to properly hug her the right way. This was his fault. No one else's but his.

Sasuke's head dropped into the pinkette's shoulder as she sobbed.

"Sakura, I'm so sorry." He whispers to her. Naruto pursed his lips together and looked up, seeing Kakashi waving down at him.

"I'm so glad you're alive." Sakura says breathlessly.

She pulled away from him. A small small on her tear strucken face. "C'mon, let's get you two home yeah?"

"Alright!" Naruto smiled.

——-

"What's gonna happen to him?" Sakura asks Kakashi as they walked into the still-being-modeled Hokage tower. It had been months, Kakashi recovered from his injuries. Naruto has as well. So has Sasuke, but his whereabouts is unknown to them.

"I-I don't know, Sakura." Kakashi sighed. "Although he played a huge part in the war, he still betrayed the village."

Sakura frowned slightly, nodding her head. She couldn't help but think about Sasuke's well being. He was her teammate after all.

She felt a strong hand on the top of herhead forcing her to look up. Although she couldn't see the masked man from the nose down, she knew the crinkle in his eyes meant he were smiling.

"He's gonna be okay Sakura." He says assuringly. "With me being Hokage now, I'll be sure of it."

Feeling somewhat relieved, Sakura nodded and opened her arms to hug her Sensei. He chuckled slightly before returning the warm embrace.

Who needs kids when I have these three? Kakashi smirked running his fingers through those pastel pink locks that grew on him.

"Thank you Kakashi Sensei." Sakura says softly.

Kakashi smiled down at the girl and nodded once their embrace was over.

"I think it's time you go home and rest Sakura, I can handle myself here."

The young girl pursed her lips together. Kakashi placed a hand on his chin.

"Actually, I do need a favor from you." He says slowly.

The pink haired girl looked at him with expectancy. Her emerald eyes staring at him.

"Why don't you go down to Konoha's Confinement and drop this off to cell 3." Retrieving something out of his pocket, he handed the girl a small scroll.

Once again Sakura pursed her lips together and took the scroll, placing it into her pouch. "O-Okay."

Kakashi smiled at her. "Thank you."

Sakura slowly turned around and began walking. Her eyebrows stitched together curiously. She wanted to be nosy and read the scroll, but she knew that would be wrong.

——

Hearing footsteps on gravel made Sasuke's ears perk up. He listened. Turning his head towards the sound he waited. He heard a shaky breath. It sounded so familiar. His heart thumped catching their scent. His breath hitched. Through the bandages over his eyes, he widened them.

It's her! He thought. Sak-

"-suke." She breathed out confirming his thoughts.

"-Tch." He grunts. "What are you doing here, Sakura?"

"I-I'm not sure." She says uncertain. "Kakashi-Sensei told me to deliver a scroll."

"I told him to keep you away from here." The raven mummbles. Irritated that he couldn't see the pinkette. "You need to leave."

"Wh-What about the scroll?"

"Sakura, look at me." He says sternly. His eyebrows drawing together in annoyance. "I'm in a straight jacket. My eyes are bandaged up. I can't read it."

He heard her shuffle. Then what sounded like a scroll being unraveled. Then a grunt of annoyance. It made his ears twitch with anticipation.

"What?" He asks after the silence was too much for him.

"It's nothing written on the scroll." Sakura sighed. "Kakashi Hatake strikes again." She chuckles then sighs once more. "He's bamboozeled us."

Sasuke breathes.

"W-Why are you here, Sasuke?" She asks softly.

"Because." He says slowly. "I betrayed the village. I'm a traitor."

"You saved the village!" Sakura says adamantly. "If it wasnt for you and Naruto Kaguya would've won!"

Sasuke scoffed. "Naruto's the Hero," He says softly. "Not me. I'm the traitor. Just like Ita-"

"-Shut up." Sakura frowned. She clutched the bars of Sasuke's cell. Her eyes slightly watering as she looked at him. "Don't you ever say that." Her voice trembles as she spoke.

"You need to go." Sasuke says after a sigh. "I'll see you later."

"When is later, Sasuke?" Sasuke asked stitching her eyebrows together. "Why didn't you want me to know you were here?"

"Would you want me to see you in a straight jacket and eyes bandaged up in a confinement cell?" Sakura watched as Sasuke's eyebrows wrinkled together. She breathed out.

"How long do you have in here?" She asked.

Sasuke took in a breath. "I dunno." He answers as he exhales.

"Liar." She grits.

"Sakura, it's none of your business how long I have here okay?" He snaps. "Stop making me your burden. That's what almost got you killed the first time. Mind your business, okay?"

Her breath hitched at his sudden sternness. "Would you say the same thing to Naruto?"

"It's impossible for that idiot to mind his own business." Sasuke spoke after a moment of silence. "Sakura just listen to me for once in your life alright? Things are better that way."

The girl twisted her lips and released her grasp on the cell bars. Her hands dropped to her side.

"Fine." She says after a moment. She looked at him one final time, from head to toe. "Bye Sasuke."

"See you later, Sakura."

Sasuke listened to her feet shift against the gravel and her footsteps fade away before she shut his eyes.

"Tch." He grunts. "Stupid Kakashi never listens."

Three years. He sighs. Just three years
