Chapter 8

"Can we go back to sleep again?" Hyunjin asked and yawned.

Changbin looked at him with his eyebrow raised. "Wouldn't you rather go home and sleep there? Maybe Jisung doesn't want to sleep in a bed with you."

"Don't bother me and I think that's actually not a bad idea to sleep a little longer before we have to go back to work later," said Jisung and yawned too.

Felix looked at Hyunjin thoughtfully before he said something. "Babe, are you sure I shouldn't drive you home? I have to go to my parents anyway."

"Hmm no, I don't want to sleep alone," Hyunjin murmured and looked at Felix apologetically.

"Well, then I'll pick you up later and drive you to work. Should I bring you fresh clothes?" he asked and smiled lovingly at Hyunjin.

Who nodded, pulled Felix to himself and kissed him gently.

"Okay, see you later."

With that, Felix had disappeared and Hyunjin and Jisung just wanted to go back to bed when Changbin stopped Jisung.

"I didn't even think about it yesterday, but you don't have a key or my number."

Jisung nodded and remembered how panicked he had been because he didn't know if he would even come into the apartment.

"Here's the key and if you give me your phone, I'll save you my number."

Jisung nodded smiling, pulled his phone out of the hoodie and was about to unlock it when he saw on the lock screen that Chan had answered him.

Changbin had also seen his friend's name and tried not to notice that it annoyed him that he had only received a short message from Chan, while he seemed to write more with the younger one.

Jisung wiped the message aside, unlocked the phone and gave it to Changbin, who saved his number.

"Thank you!" Jisung murmured and smiled shyly at Changbin before Hyunjin had enough and pulled him with him.

Changbin smiled back a little reconciled. He had the feeling of behaving stupidly and he didn't know exactly where that came from.

Sighing, he shrugged his shoulders and went to take a shower. In front of him there was a long day in his studio and without Chan the whole thing was somehow only half as much fun.

In the meantime, Hyunjin had snuggled up back into bed and waited for Jisung to lay down with him, but the younger sat at the end of the bed and looked at his phone.

"Haanniii come here now," he complained and was tempted to attract the younger one to him.

"Mhm," Jisung murmured and decided to read Chan's message later, even if he was really curious about what the older might have written.

Nevertheless, he cuddled up in bed and let Hyunjin pull him to him.

"Don't you think Felix will be angry because we sleep together? Without him," Jisung asked worriedly, but also couldn't stop himself from brushing a strand of hair out of Hyunjins face.

"As often as he has slept in a bed with Jeongin? Hardly. Besides, he would tell me that. And he knows that I can't sleep well alone," Hyunjin murmured with his eyes closed.

"All right. I just don't want you to argue about me," Jisung said and sighed softly.

"We won't. Promise!" Hyunjin said quietly and snuggled up to Jisung.

Jisung couldn't help but realize again that it felt good to lie in Hyunjin's arms. Even if he had no romantic feelings for the older one, it still felt nice not to be alone.

Despite the worries and the head full of thoughts, it didn't take long for Jisung to fall asleep again in Hyunjin's arms.

When Changbin wanted to say goodbye to them shortly afterwards, the two had long since fallen asleep snuggled together.

He looked at the two, at some point shook his head with a sigh and quietly closed the door behind him again.

When Jisung woke up, a hand lay on his stomach and for a moment he was firmly convinced that he was in bed with Chan.

But finally he remembered that Chan was in Australia, they had just seen each other for the first time and he was in bed with Hyunjin.

Sighing, he closed his eyes again. He knew that he was far too fast and far too much attracted to Chan. He thought of him incredibly often and was incredibly happy when he saw that Chan had texted him.

Which reminded him that he hadn't read Chans messages yet. Smiling, he pushed Hyunjin's arm aside, crawled to the end of the bed and looked for his phone.

»Hey cutie, uhm yes I know them both, Felix is my cousin. But why are you lying in bed with them? Is there anything with Felix's apartment?
Working here is not much fun, but I'm by the sea and can see the sunset. I'll send you a photo.
Don't let Binnie annoy you, he's usually a little grumpy when he's tired.Have fun at work«

Smiling, Jisung saw the picture Chan had sent and let himself sink back into bed. He felt happy and free, but only until he remembered that he had to go back to work right away.

The pictures Chan had sent from Australia looked incredibly beautiful. He had lived in Malaysia with his parents for a while before his father had died and he felt incredible wanderlust when he saw the pictures.

Sighing, he shook his head and tried to remember that he had just met Chan. And yet he had fallen head over heels in love with him.

"Hannie?" Hyunjin murmured sleepily and tore Jisung out of his thoughts.

"Hmm, I'm here."

"Come back," the older murmured and extended his hand to Jisung.

Smiling, Jisung snuggled back into the elder's arm and remembered again how much he had missed Hyunjin during the time he had stayed with Haku.

Hyunjin was loud, a drama lama, often clumsy and when he was drunk very clingy. But he was always open and honest and had never tried to push him to anything.

He had clung to Haku because they had known each other since childhood and Jisung hadn't been able to see how control-addicted and narcissistic the elder had been.

Hyunjin, on the other hand, was warm-hearted and kind and had always only tried to help him.

"I'm glad you're my friend, Jinnie!" Jisung murmured.

"I'm also glad that you're my friend! And that you understand that I can't sleep alone. Thank you for letting me stay here," Hyunjin said quietly and gently stroked through Jisung's hair.

For a moment they remained arm in arm and hung their thoughts until they remembered that they had to work soon.

They took a shower one after the other and got ready for work. Jisung let Hyunjin choose his outfit and do his makeup. The older was incredibly happy about it and Jisung was somehow happy not to have to deal with it, while in his head there somehow seemed to be only room for Chan.

At some point the doorbell rang and when Jisung opened, a tired-looking Felix came into the apartment.

"Lix," Hyunjin murmured, pulled the younger to him and kissed him gently.

Smiling, he returned the kiss, finally pushed Hyunjin away and looked at him questioningly. "Were you able to sleep a little more?"

Hyunjin nodded and Jisung could have sworn that Hyunjin blushed, but wasn't sure.

"Here babe, go get dressed so we can go," Felix said at that moment and gave Hyunjin fresh clothes. Who nodded smiling and disappeared in the bedroom to get dressed.

"Thank you... for allowing him to stay here. He hasn't gotten much sleep lately...," Felix murmured and smiled gratefully at Jisung, even if he looked a little worried.

"Anytime! Feels better than sleeping alone," Jisung said with a grin and boxed Felix against his shoulder.

"Don't let that get to your head, it won't become a habit," Felix said laughing and boxed back.

Shortly after, Hyunjin came back.

"You look amazing, babe," Felix said and smiled lovingly at the older.

But they didn't have much time left and so shortly afterwards they sat back in the car on their way to work.
