Chapter 57
The plane jerked back and forth, due to turbulence, which caused Hyunjin to scare up in panic.
His heart was beating up to his neck and he felt like he couldn't breathe anymore. Whining, he turned around, looking for Felix.
For a moment he wondered why it was so dark, but eventually he realized that he still had his sleeping mask on.
With trembling fingers he pulled the thing off his head glad to be able to see at least a little bit better now, thanks to the dimmed lighting above them.
"Lix?" he muttered softly, reaching for the younger's arm. Shook him gently and repeated his name louder. "Lix?!"
But Felix slept like a rock.
Again the plane was shaken, this time even more violently than before, causing Hyunjin's whimpers to get louder, which was why he bit his lower lip to not wake anyone up.
"Felix!" he whispered, this time much louder and shook the younger one, but he just couldn't wake him up.
With tears in his eyes, Hyunjin stood up and tapped through the swaying plane to the place of Jisung and Chan, who were both asleep as well.
But when Hyunjin sat down next to Jisung and put a hand on his arm, the younger opened his eyes almost immediately and looked at Hyunjin sleepily.
"What's wrong?"
"I-I can't sleep so... and L-Lix doesn't wake up," Hyunjin sobbed.
Without hesitation, Jisung slipped as far as he could to Chan to make room for Hyunjin, who instantly snuggled up to the younger.
Yawning, Jisung wrapped his arms around him and kissed him gently. "It's all right, baby. Try to get some sleep, I'll take care of you."
Tired, Hyunjin nodded and closed his eyes.
For a moment he had great difficulty keeping his eyes closed, because the plane was shaken roughly again.
But Jisung only wrapped his arms tighter around him and began to hum a lullaby very quietly, so that Hyunjin could finally relax that much that he managed to fall asleep again.
Just before he slid to sleep, he felt Jisung press a kiss on his neck and softly "I love you, Jinnie," murmured.
When Chan woke up early the next morning, he wasn't surprised in the least that he had not really much of his actually quite comfortable place left and Jisung was pressed tightly to him.
And as he had already guessed, the glance over Jisung's shoulder confirmed that Hyunjin was sleeping with them again.
Yawning, he sat up and looked at his phone. Surprised, he realized that it was just after three o'clock in the morning and he could easily sleep for two more hours. But the constricted position was quite uncomfortable, which was why he finally got up and sneaked over to Felix.
Who was still sleeping like a rock, which was why Chan assumed that was the reason why Hyunjin had been with them.
Without even thinking twice, Chan grabbed Hyunjin's blanket, laid down and closed his eyes.
Fortunately, the shaking of the plane, which had become much softer in the meantime, ensured that he fell asleep again within a very short time.
The next time Chan woke up, he felt much more sleepy and was sure to have only dreamed of everything for a moment. Because Jisung was snuggled up very tightly to him and had wrapped his arms around him.
Yawning, he turned around and wanted to pull the younger one to him to kiss him, when he noticed Felix's blonde hair.
"I guess I didn't dream it," he muttered softly.
"What didn't you dream of?" Felix asked sleepily and pulled the older closer to himself.
"Uhm. Maybe you should open your eyes, baby, then you know what I'm talking about," Chan said with a grin.
Yawning, Felix opened his eyes and looked at Chan in surprise. "Oh." With a tired smile on his lips, he snuggled up to the elder and closed his eyes again. "Is Jinnie with Jisung?"
"Yeah, I think he couldn't wake you up. There was quite a bit of turbulence at night."
"I didn't even notice."
"Which was probably the reason why Hyunjin came to us. And with that, every little bit of space I had left was gone," Chan whined playfully and sighed with relief as Felix began to massage his back.
"Does that help a little?"
Chan nodded and closed his eyes.
But they didn't have much time left. Soon after breakfast came and they had to get ready for landing.
Shortly after landing, they were one of the first to leave the plane. After waiting for their suitcases for what felt like an eternity, they left the airport tired. In front of the airport Chan's driver was fortunately already waiting for them.
"Welcome back Mr. Bang."
Chan just nodded, let the others in first, and then sat down next to Jisung. After they dropped Felix and Hyunjin off at their apartment, the driver drove them to Chan's apartment.
Tired they stood leaning against each other in the elevator and both actually just wanted to go back to bed and continue sleeping.
"Can we at least cuddle a little more before you have to go to the studio?" Jisung asked, reaching for Chan's hand.
"Sure."
Yawning, Jisung reached for his suitcase and went after Chan, who was already rummaging in his pocket to find his key.
But only seconds after Chan unlocked the door and pushed it open, he stopped as if rooted.
He had the feeling that something was not at all like when they had left the apartment, which was why he only took off his shoes and left his suitcase at the door.
"What's wrong?" Jisung asked in surprise and looked after him.
"I don't know," Chan muttered, went a little further and stopped when he saw the large bouquet on the table in the living room.
Jisung had followed him and tried to understand what was going on, which was why he turned around and looked in the same direction. A smile crept on his lips, because he could imagine who had put the flowers there.
"Do you think that was your driver?" he asked, suppressing his grin as he went into the living room to look at the bouquet. They were pink lilies, mixed with white and red roses, bordered with large green leaves. "Oh look at a card."
With raised eyebrows, Chan pulled the card out of the bouquet and opened it.
Welcome home
Binnie
"Oh," Chan murmured, gently stroked one of the roses.
"From whom are the flowers?"
"From Binnie... If you... I... I can throw them away."
Almost annoyed, Jisung shook his head. "Why should you throw away the flowers? They're beautiful and Binnie probably just wanted to apologize."
A smile appeared on Chan's lips. He nodded slowly and reached for Jisung's hand. "Okay."
Then he pulled the younger with him into the bedroom, took off his pants and sweater and together they snuggled into bed.
"I love you, baby," Chan whispered, burying his fingers in the younger's hair and kissing him gently.
"I love you too! Thank you for the wonderful holiday!" Jisung whispered and snuggled closer to Chan. "I'm still sure you must be an angel."
"Oh baby..." Chan murmured. Let his hands gently wander to Jisung's back and gently caressed him.
Tired, Jisung closed his eyes. He had only slept restlessly after Hyunjin had come to him. Again and again he had woken up to check on the older one, who fortunately had been able to sleep peacefully.
"Sleep, baby!" Chan whispered, pressing a gentle kiss on the younger's lips.
Jisung would have preferred to stay awake and would have liked to spend more time with Chan before he had to leave, but he was just incredibly tired. And being back home in Chan's arms, in the damn cozy bed, made him fall asleep pretty quickly.
With a loving smile on his lips and so much love in his eyes, Chan watched the younger for a moment, but finally stood up.
He wanted to get a few things done before he had to go to the studio.
After unpacking their suitcases and stuffing the laundry in the washing machine, he went to the kitchen, where he also found a bouquet of flowers.
He shook his head in surprise and didn't knew exactly what to think of it. He knew that it was one of the ways Changbin showed care. He took care of those who were important to him.
Sighing, he turned on the coffee machine and went to the refrigerator to get milk, without thinking about the fact that he had thrown the milk away before they had flown away.
Amazed, he noticed that the entire refrigerator was filled, all the way up.
What only surprised him even more and again he shook his head.
Nevertheless, he took the bottle of milk from the refrigerator and went back to the coffee machine. He urgently needed a coffee and hoped that his head would be a little clearer afterwards.
With the steaming cup in his hand, he went to the balcony and sat down on the rocking chair. Let his gaze wander over the so familiar skyline of Seoul and had to smile.
Even though Australia and especially Sydney was his home. And he always felt like he belonged there, Seoul had now also secured a firm place in his heart.
But not only that. He had found his own little family here, which he would never
give back for nothing in the world.
And to this family belonged Changbin. There was no doubt for Chan, even though he had been quite angry with him for quite a while.
"Hey Binnie.. I'm on my way to the studio"
He drank his coffee, brought the cup back to the kitchen and wrote a message for Jisung, which he stuck to the refrigerator.
