Chapter 56

Jisung's heart beat up to his neck. He had sneaked out of bed to text Changbin, but was still insanely afraid that Chan would wake up and spot him.

The last few days had passed incredibly quickly and it was their last night before they would fly back to Seoul.

Felix and Hyunjin spent the night with Felix's parents, as they had wanted some time with their son, which had ensured that Jisung and Chan had the apartment for themselves.

And although he would've liked to have sex - only with Chan - the elder had insisted on waiting until they were back.

At first, Jisung had been somewhat irritated and insecure about it, but Chan had had his own ways to distract him.

He had kidnapped him for a romantic evening walk on the beach and even prepared a picnic.

After making sure that no one was close to them, they had been bathing in the ocean naked and Chan had stolen promising, seductive kisses from him, only to wrap him in a towel on the beach and feed him chocolate strawberries.

Laughing they had ran across the moonlit beach and when Chan had caught up with him, he had pushed him into the sand and laid down on top of him, only to immediately run away from him again.

He played with him and Jisung's heart had beaten with joy. He felt incredibly carefree and happy.

Only when they had both become tired and all the food had been eaten, they returned to their holiday apartment.

In the shower, Chan had again only proven how gentle and caring he was and hadn't responded to any of Jisung's attempts. Had gently washed his hair, but left the rest to Jisung.

After that they had snuggled close to each other in bed and to Jisung's surprise Chan had first fallen asleep.

Which was why Jisung had wanted to take the opportunity and text Changbin. Somehow the possibility hadn't been there in the past few days and since the older hadn't messaged to him either, Jisung had simply assumed that he was busy.

"Hey Binnie. I just wanted to text before we leave tomorrow. The day will definitely be stressful. Our flight leaves at 8pm and we will arrive in Seoul the next morning. Chan has already said that he probably wants to go to the studio around noon, maybe it's easiest when you meet there.
I hope you're doing well? You haven't texted for a long time. Is everything okay? I'll send you a picture of Channie on the beach. He looks so incredibly happy, you just have to see that. ♥️"

He thought for quite a while whether he should send the message with the heart like that, but then did it with a pounding heart. Somehow Changbin had grown a little closer to his heart with every message they had written to each other. What if he thought about it somehow had big similarities with the time when Chan had been in Australia and they had written almost daily.

Sighing, Jisung shook his head. Somehow there was quite a mess in him. First the night with Felix and Hyunjin and so he didn't quite understand his feelings for Changbin.

In the beginning, he had put a lot of effort into being friends with Changbin. After that there had been an incredible amount of anger and incomprehension. But in the meantime, gentle bonds formed between them again, of which he did not yet knew exactly what he felt about it.

For a moment he leaned against the outer wall, but he was tired and longed to cuddle with Chan.

Which was why he rubbed his eyes yawning, went into the apartment and locked the door behind him properly.

Chan grumbled a little as Jisung snuggled up to him, but didn't wake up, which relieved the younger.

He pressed a gentle kiss on Chan's lips, closed his eyes yawning and snuggled a little closer to Chan, who put his arm around him and muttered "I love you", but continued to sleep.

This time it only took a short moment until Jisung was able to fall asleep, snuggled tightly to the older.

When the alarm clock rang early, they both would have preferred to sleep for a little longer, but they had to get up.

And although they actually only had to take care that they had packed their luggage in time, stress broke out right in the morning.

Hyunjin and Felix were late, which meant that Jisung in particular was on the verge of losing his temper and then they couldn't find the key to the rental car, which led to Jisung crawling through the whole apartment to find it.

"We shouldn't leave you unsupervised for even a second," Felix chuckled after watching Jisung for a moment.

"Thank God you're back," Jisung gasped and let Hyunjin, who had pushed himself past Felix, pulled him up. With a happy smile on his lips, Jisung wrapped his arms around the elder and snuggled up to him

But the relief that the two were back lasted only a moment

And then it got hectic again.

"Have you finished packing your stuff yet?" Chan asked, watching Jisung and Hyunjin smiling.

"We... uhm no?", Felix confessed and rubbed his hand over his neck.

"Okay, then we'll look for the key and you go pack your things! And even if my dad is going to send someone who takes care of everything, maybe we should clean up a bit," Chan remarked and at the same time put his hand in the sofa crack to find the damn key.

The other three just nodded and then went away in different directions.

Sighing, Chan looked behind them and pulled a coin from the sofa crack.

It was Hyunjin who finally found the key when he packed the things out of the bathroom.

Which led to general relief and ensured that everyone relaxed again.

Chan had already cleaned up a large part of the apartment while searching, which was why there wasn't really much to do afterwards.

Their suitcases were packed at the front door and they didn't know what they should do for the two hours they had left.

"Can we go for a last walk on the beach again?" Jisung finally asked quietly, leaning against Chan.

"Sure, why not. My dad's chauffeur will be here in about two hours." Smiling, Chan reached for Jisung's hand and pulled him with him.

Hyunjin raised his eyebrows grinning and exchanged a look with Felix, but they followed the two. It was very clear to see how much the two felt for each other and even if it amused them a bit, they both knew that they had behaved exactly the same way at the beginning of their relationship.

It was a rather cloudy day, with light drizzle, but that couldn't stop them from trudging through the sand side by side.

It was as if the weather wanted to make it easier for them to fly away. In bright sunshine, it would certainly be harder for them to leave.

But so they let their faces rain wet, glad that they all had rain coats with them.

The wind had also increased and the waves splashed more violently than usual on the beach, yet it all felt somehow idyllic.

When they returned to the holiday apartment shortly before six, a somewhat depressed mood made itself felt.

The departure could no longer be delayed and shortly after them the elegant car of Chan's father stopped in front of the apartment. Which only made it clearer to them that their time here was over.

With a quiet sigh, Chan took it to store the suitcases in the trunk, although the chauffeur wanted to take over.

When they all sat in the car and drove off, Chan saw Jisung waving goodbye to the apartment inconspicuously.

With a sad smile on his lips, Chan resolved to bring him here again as soon as possible. Or maybe show him other parts of the world.

Because although Jisung had lived in Malaysia with his family for a while, he hadn't really seen much, while Chan's parents had often flown around the world with him and visited foreign places.

Without saying anything, he reached for Jisung's hand and smiled at him as the younger turned to him. "I love you," he whispered, gently caressing the back of Jisung's hand with his finger.

"I love you too," Jisung whispered, intertwining his fingers with Chans.

Fortunately, the trip to the airport didn't took long.

Once there, Hyunjin stared up at the dark sky worriedly. "Well, hopefully we don't have too much turbulence," he muttered, pinching his lips together.

Felix reached for his hand and squeezed it compassionately, while Chan turned to his father's chauffeur. "Thank you for everything!" he said, bowing slightly.

Even before they could turn around to leave, the older man stopped Chan and reached into the inside of his jacket. "Best regards from your mother."

Confused, Chan took the envelope and put it in his pocket.

Shortly afterwards, they squeezed through the crowds at the airport to hand over their suitcases in time. But since Chan had booked fast check in, at least they didn't have to queue to check in their suitcases.

They spent the waiting time in the duty-free shops and although they had already bought some souvenirs, Hyunjin and Jisung in particular couldn't help of buying some cute, little things.

Without hesitation, Chan paid for everything the two had chosen. Even though he sometimes saw his father's money as a curse, he appreciated it most of the time.

Shortly afterwards, they were one of the first to enter the plane and Jisung was incredibly glad that Chan had booked first class.

Because even if Chan's bed or the one in the holiday apartment were definitely more comfortable, they could at least lie down comfortably.

And even though he didn't know exactly why, he had the feeling that Hyunjin might be sleeping next to him again, which would definitely not have been possible with seats.

They sat for a while and talked, but somehow they were all quite tired and decided to go to sleep soon after.
