Chapter 26

It was like hell at work. Their boss had made the plan to gain even more popularity for the club and therefore decided to invite special acts once a month.

So in addition to the annoying customers, they now also had to listen to the jowl of the band that their boss had chosen.

Unfortunately, he had made a terrible choice this time and all three didn't enjoy the music at all.

The guests apparently did, because the mood was good and they ordered a lot of drinks.

Which led to the fact that Jisung and Hyunjin were insanely busy, while Minho and Jeongin ran through the area and collected empty glasses.

And even if time so reasonably quickly, they had so little time to chat and joke around.

When Hyunjin finally leaned against him at some point when it finally got a little quieter, they realized that their shift soon would be over.

Yawning, Hyunjin wrapped his arms around him and pressed his lips on the younger's neck.

"Jinnie don't do that," Jisung giggled, but still leaned against the older one.

"I want to go home to my bed," Hyunjin murmured and gently stroked Jisung's belly before he detached himself from him and leaned against the bar next to him.

"You can soon. Is Lix coming to pick you up?"

"No, he texted earlier that he is tired and would like to go to sleep. Minho drives me home," said Hyunjin and had to smile when Minho appeared in front of them as if he had summoned him and looked pretty miserable.

"What's going on?" Jisung asked chuckling.

"Oh, honestly I hate all of this. These evenings are so exhausting.. people are drunk and rude!"

Yawning, he leaned against the bar and rubbed his hands over his face.

Compassionate, Jisung put a hand on his arm and was just about to say something when he saw something in the corner of his eye that made him pause in amazement.

"Well, it looks like at least one of us is having fun," he said quietly and grinned all over his face.

When Hyunjin and Minho looked at him without understanding, he pointed inconspicuously in the direction of Jeongin, who stood a bit away from them against the bar - a few centimeters away from him the brown-haired who had given his number to him quite a while ago.

"That can't be true... now the chick will also have a boyfriend before I do," Minho said horrified and stared at the two.

It looked like the brown-haired wanted to kiss Jeongin, but didn't seem sure if that was a good idea.

Fascinated, all three observe how Jeongin's gaze wandered to the lips of the other and he visibly gave himself a jerk and finally pressed his lips briefly on those of the brown-haired.

Hyunjin and Jisung yelled and whistled, thought Minho shook his head theatrically and wiped away imaginary tears.

"Well Min, maybe it's just because of your personality. Others seem to be able to catch someone at work," said Hyunjin smirking and dodged Minho's fist laughing.

"You can walk home later, you brat," Minho snorted and disappeared back into the crowd.

Horrified, Hyunjin stared after him and then looked at Jisung.

"It's your own fault Jinnie. I always tell you not to upset him," Jisung said with a grin and shrugged his shoulders.

"But it takes forever to walk home," Hyunjin sobbed theatrically and threw himself into Jisung's arm.

"Maybe Channie will have mercy and drives you home," Jisung said still grinning, pushed Hyunjin away and then took care of the guests who just came to the bar.

The rest of their shift went relatively uneventful.

Most of the guests were so drunk that no one really bought something to drink anymore and apart from that it was already so late that the club slowly emptied.

So they started cleaning the bar in order to leave right away when their shift was over.

When the lights in the club finally were turned on, they were all already so tired that they could have fallen asleep standing.

After they got the ok from their boss, they could finally leave and went into the lounge to get their stuff.

"Should I also take you with us, or will Chan pick you up?" Minho asked yawning and hung his bag over his shoulder.

"Actually, he wanted to pick me up, but he didn't text anything. He probably waited outside," said Jisung, intertwined his fingers with Hyunjin's and together they followed Minho to the employee parking lot.

But Chan wasn't there.

Confused, Jisung turned around himself to make sure that Chan hadn't parked somewhere further away.

But he wasn't there.

With a dull feeling in his stomach, he took his phone out of his pocket and dialed Chan's number.

But he waited in vain for Chan to answer the call.

It was only when Hyunjin wrapped his arm around his hip that he noticed that Minho and Hyunjin were still standing next to him and watching him waiting.

"Should I drive you home?" Minho asked.

"Yes, that would be... No.. I don't have a key to Chan's apartment at all... and I don't know if I want to sleep in Changbin's apartment..." he murmured and leaned against Hyunjin with a sigh.

He felt terrible.

"Good, then Minho will drive you to Chan's studio. Probably the two just forgot the time and are still working," Hyunjin said yawning and pulled Jisung with him to Minho's car.

"As long as you can tell the way, I'm happy to do so."

And so they sat in the car shortly afterwards. Hyunjin had sat down in the back seat with Jisung and wrapped his arms around the younger one.

Tired, Jisung had leaned against him and tried not to panic, but his thoughts were racing and he imagined various horror scenarios of what could have happened.

When Minho was parked in front of the building, Jisung got out with trembling hands. "Can you wait a moment until I know if he's still here?"

Minho nodded yawning. "Sure."

But as easy as Jisung had imagined it was not at all to get into the building.

When he finally managed to persuade the gatekeeper to let him in and an annoyed, sleepy employee approached him, his knees began to tremble.

It made sense that not everyone was allowed to simply walk into the building.

But when he had given the employee his name, he nodded without asking for further explanation, led him to the elevator and over some corridors until they finally stopped in front of a door.

Jisung, hesitantly knocked on the door and entered before he could change his mind.

It was almost dark in the room, apart from the light of the computer. And it was also quiet.

Confused, Jisung looked around and froze.

Chan and Changbin were sleeping on the sofa behind the large desk. Cuddled closely together and Changbin had clearly pushed his arm under Chan's shirt.

Jisung's heart raced and he felt tears gather in his eyes.

Without drawing any attention to himself in any way, he turned around and left.

The employee wasn't there anymore, but Jisung remembered the way and so he ran back to the elevator and stood sobbing in front of Minho's car shortly afterwards.

Confused, Hyunjin got out of the car and pulled him into his arm. "What's going on?"

But Jisung only shook his head and pressed himself against the older.

For a moment they stood like that and Jisung tried to calm down, but there were only more and more tears running down his face.

Sobbing, he finally dropped back into the back seat and Hyunjin sat down next to him in confusion.

"To my house...?" he looked at Jisung questioningly and when he nodded, Minho drove off.

Jisung had leaned against Hyunjin and his sobs slowly became quieter. Which was somehow also thanks to that Hyunjin was gently caressing his back.

He wanted to know what was going on, but he didn't want to push Jisung either and so he was just there for him and gave him closeness and refuge.

In Jisung's head, on the other hand, the pure chaos was loose. He once again had the feeling of behaving absolutely stupidly. Because he also slept in a bed with Hyunjin and cuddled with him. But Chan knew about it and he didn't do it secretly.

On the other hand, he had already slept in a bed with Changbin, even though Hyunjin had been lying between them.

He absolutely didn't know what to do or think.

But he felt incredibly lonely and empty. He didn't even have his own retreat where he could be without having to see one of the two.

And so it happened that he lay next to Hyunjin in bed and cuddled up to him because he didn't know what else to do.

He could have slept on the sofa, but he felt so lonely that he knew he wouldn't be able to fall asleep alone.

Felix had woken up when they had laid down in bed next to him, but he hadn't asked what was going on. He had just kissed them both, turned to the side and continued to sleep.

Actually, Jisung wanted to talk to Hyunjin about what he had seen, but he was incredibly tired and sad.

That was why he just snuggled closer to him and closed his eyes.

"Sleep well babe.. tomorrow the world will look different," Hyunjin muttered and kissed Jisung gently before he also closed his eyes.

"You too Jinnie.. Thank you forget letting me sleep here," Jisung whispered.

It took a while, but finally he finally fell asleep in the arms of the elder.
