I try. I try really hard. Am I really such a bad person? I never thought I would do that to Melissa, or anyone.

It all makes sense now. I understand why she hates me so much. I even hate me. I really have fallen to my lowest point.

If I thought losing him was the worst thing. Apparently it's not. It was just the beginning of my life shattering into a million pieces.

How do I make it right after so long? I don't think she would forgive me ever, and quite frankly I don't think I would forgive me either.

That was really a bitch move, and I would never do that in my right mind. I knew there had to be a reason for her hating me. I just thought it couldn't be that bad, but man was I wrong.

I had betrayed her long before she ever started hating me. I want to make it right between us. I don't know how I can I messed up really bad.

"Earth to Chloe!" a voice shouted snapping me out of my thoughts. I recognised it as Penny.

We had already left the diner, and came to Penny's apartment. I took a shower to get the milkshake off of my body and hair. I took everything that happened in. I couldn't shake the one thing that seem to be bothering me the most.

Why did she keep this a secret this long?

"CHOLE?!?" Penny shouted.

"What's wrong Penny?" I asked concerned of why she was yelling.

"I should be asking you that!" she says half screams.

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"Chloe how could you do that?" she asks and I wonder what she is talking about because a lot just happened. She can be talking about a number of things.

"Can you be more specific?" I ask.

"Why did you get drunk? Why would you ruin your friendship?" She asked.

Does she honestly not know? Of course she doesn't. She was never close to him like I was. I definitely didn't want to ruin my friendship with Melissa, but I did.

I'm trying to make things better. For all the people I have hurt or did wrong. Truth be told, I think everyone is better with out me.

Me, a girl with many problems that no one can solve except for her. Her life is falling apart. Maybe it's time to give up and let it completely shatter. After all who would miss her.

"Can you not see I'm trying? All I've been doing is trying. You know what, I'm done." I say losing all the patience I had and got up and walked to the front door to exit.

"Chloe, your not alone. I'm here for you whenever you need me. I know it may not seem like it, but I am." She says and me being the person I am I walked out the door slamming it shut and run.

I ran, and ran like I was being chased from my past. No matter how long ago it was, it always catches up to you.

My face was stained with tears. My vision was blurry and I can't really see where I'm going.

I didn't want to stop, so I kept going. That was until I ran into someone.

"Ouch!" the person yelled and it sounded like it was a guy. The voice sounded a little bit familiar.

I closed my eyes and wiped my face, so I could see a little clearer. I open my eyes and see that same face I was meet with once before, but where the hell am I?

"Hey." he says.

"Hi." I say nervously. I really don't feel like talking to anyone right now. Especially someone like him.

I know your not supposed to judge a book by it's cover, but hey people do that anyway.

To say he was cute would be a understatement. His appearance was breathtaking, maybe that's just because I was just running like someone who was trying to win a race.

He has a light tan, curly brown hair bright brown eyes and his lips. He's lips are light pink and looked very kissable. Wait, what the hell am I thinking.

"Are you okay?" he asks and I just stand there figuring out a way to answer that question.

"No, I'm really not." I say being truthful.

"What's wrong?" He asks probably genuinely curious.

"I don't even know you. Plus you probably don't want to know me." I state.

"I think I would like to know more about you, so let me introduce myself. I'm James."

"Chloe." I say and begin to look around taking in all my surroundings.

"You have no idea where you are huh?" he asks looking at me intently.

"Not a clue." I say.

There are many trees around this place. I never seen this place, and I'm starting to wonder what exactly is this place.

"What is this place?" I ask letting my curiosity take over.

"It's a small restaurant full of delicious food." he says and as if right on cue my stomach makes an awful sound.

"Sorry, I guess I'm just really hungry. " I say embarrassed.

"It's fine. Would you like to join me?" He asks looking at me and then to the direction of what I suppose is the restaurant.

"Um, sure why not." I say and we begin to walk into the restaurant.

I wonder does he come here a lot.

"Hey James! Will it be the usual?" A young woman looks like she could be in here twenties says.

I guess that answers my question.

"Uh, yeah Sarah. Oh, but make it two." He says to the lady and then she finally looks over to me and smiled. The thing is her smile actually looked genuine.

"Hi there, I'm Sarah." she says holding out her hand.

"Chloe." I say taking her hand in mine.

"Pleasure to meet you Chloe." She says.

"Pleasure is all mine." I say as she begins to make her way to the kitchen.

He walks over to a booth and I follow him. We take a seat and wait in our food. I wonder what it was because I didn't even order it he did.
