Unlike before the car ride was awkward. Chloe didn't say anything she just looked out the window probably tired. Heaven looked worried because she would keep looking at me the back out the window when she noticed I seen her. 

"Sorry, for the inconvenience I didn't think any of this would happen." I say to Chloe once we make it to the apartment.

"It's okay, I just hope Penny doesn't mind." she says getting out of the car along with my sister and I. 

"You don't have to this." I tell her going to get my things out of the trunk feeling a bit down.

"J, stay out here for a minute. I'm going to walk Heaven up, and I'll come back so we can talk." she says walking up the steps not even waiting for any type of agreement.

The street lights were on since it was no longer light out. I watched as Heaven and Chloe went up the steps to make sure nothing happened. Once I seen them go in I pop the trunk to my car. I really wish all this wasn't happening right now, but sadly it is. 

I didn't need to put all this pressure on Chloe, she doesn't deserve it. She deserves someone who doesn't make her life harder than it already is. I grab my things out of the trunk, and close it. I don't look up I just stand there looking at my feet thinking of what my mom just said about me. 

What if she is right? Maybe I wasn't meant to be here. I was a mistake, that's probably what I will always be. 

"Babe?" I hear Chloe ask so I look up to see her eyes that were full of concern.

"What did you want to talk about?" I ask her clearing my throat a bit feeling tears forming in my eyes. 

"What happened when you were in your Mom's house?" she asks coming closer to me.

"I'm guessing she drank too much, and ended up calling me a worthless piece of shit." I mumble and see her jaw clench. 

"You believe her?" she asks standing right in front of me.

"I think so." I say putting my head down as a tear escapes my eye.

"She's wrong, look at me." she says so I look up to felt her hand come to my face wiping the wet substance on my face.

"I know she's your mom, but listen to me James. You're an amazing guy, and you are meant to be here just as much as the rest of us. Things are rough right now I get it babe, but you have to hold on not for me but for yourself. There are countless of times where I wanted to just give up because I didn't feel like I belonged here, but guess what J I'm still here. You have a purpose in this world, and you have people that love you. You mean so much to us all, so James you are anything but worthless." she says as a few tears shed from her and my face. 

"Are you one of those people?" I ask wiping my tears along with hers.

"Huh?" she asks looking up at me with raised eyebrows.

"If you can huh you can hear." I tell her and she laughs then lightly pushes me back.

"So do you?" I ask her curiously. 

I know we have only dating for a short period of time, but my feelings for her are growing stronger everyday. I think I'm falling in love with her.

"Too soon, but I care about you a lot." she says and I pull her into a hug and kiss her head.

"Thank you; I really needed to hear that." I tell her as she wraps her arms around my torso.

"I was just telling you the truth." she says  as she starts wiggling out of my grip.

"What you doing little lady?" I ask not taking my eyes off of her.

"I'm sleepy, and we have school tomorrow." she says and I nod grabbing her hand.

"Come on let's go get some sleep princess." I say walking us to the staircase to get in the apartment.

"I let Heaven sleep on the couch, so I hope the floor is okay." she says as we near the apartment door.

"Yeah it's fine." I tell her as she knocks on the door.

Chloe's Pov:

Penny opens the door for us. I still have to tell her about meeting our uncle.

"Hey James." she says allowing us to walk the front door.

"Hey, sorry for just showing up to your house like this." James says setting his things down on the floor.

"It's fine, but I need to steal my sister for a minute." she says grabbing my arm leading me to her room.

"What Penn?" I ask once we make it in her room.

"Next time tell me okay, but I wanted to ask you was everything alright." she says standing with her arms crossed over her chest.

"I'm not entirely sure." I tell her honestly.

I need to tell her about running into our uncle, and that he wants to talk to us all.

"What happened today?" she asks looking a bit puzzled.

"Well this morning James dropped me  off at the diner to meet Melissa. Before she even got there I seen our uncle." I tell her and she looks at me waiting for me to continue.

"What did you do?" she asks with anticipation.

"I went up to him, and asked him was he following me. He said no, but I don't believe that. Anyway he told me that he had something to tell us." I say leaning against the wall.

"What does he have to tell us?" she asks and I shrug.

"He said he wanted to tell Mom, you and me at the same time." I tell her.

"When?" she asks with a puzzled facial expression.

"We just have to tell him when we all are free." I tell her.

"How would we do that?" she asks still a bit confused.

"I got his number, so we just need to set a date." I say as she sits on her bed.

"Well I'm free tomorrow at six." she says grabbing her phone as I get off the wall to get some clothes.

"We need to tell Mom." I say glancing at her.

"Already done," she says placing her phone down.

"Okay, well I'll tell him later on." I tell her grabbing the clothes.

"You should get to bed." she says as I change into the pajamas I got.

"You should too got a big day tomorrow. " I say thinking about what could he possibly have to tell us.

"Night sis, I love you." she says putting on the tv.

"I love you too." I say throwing my clothes in the hamper and leaving out the door.

I walk into the living room to see a sleeping Heaven, and James in gym shorts and a t-shirt laying on a blanket that was placed on the ground.

"She's not mad is she?" James asks once he sees me.

"Nope." I say going to get more blankets.

"Oh okay that's good." he says getting up off the ground.

I place a fluffy blanket on the floor to make it a bit more comfortable, and then throw some pillows on it.

I grab a blanket for me, and hand up one too. I turned on the tv, and got settled on the pallet I made.

"You okay?" James asks laying down next to me.

"Yeah, I'm just exhausted." I tell him looking at The power puff girls fight.

"Okay, goodnight beautiful." he says and I look at him.

"Cuddle?" I ask nervously.

"Thought you'd never ask." he says smiling as he put his arms around me.

I would never admit this, but this is exactly where I wanted to be. After a few minutes of watching tv we both fell into darkness.
