As Raph hugged Leo, he noticed Jamie, hugging her knees and her head down in the corner. He put Leo down and told him he'd be right back. He approached Jamie and sat down beside her.

"You okay?" he wondered, getting her attention.

She lifted her head to show that she was crying. She wiped her tears quickly.

"Yeah. I'm fine," she said, trying to smile, but Raph knew her better than that.

"Jamie, seriously. What's wrong?" he asked, putting an arm around her.

She sighed and answered, "I can't quit thinking of what you said when the brain worm was inside you."

Raph looked at her, puzzled. He didn't know what he said, but it made it worse that whatever it was, it really got to the girl he loves.

"What did I say?" he asked, seeing Jamie tense a little, then begged, "Please Jamie, I need to know so I can make it right."

She thought about it for a minute then nodded.

"You said 'Did you really think I could love a nobody like you?'" Jamie told him.

Raph was shocked then realized, "But you do know that it was the brain worm talking, right?"

"Yeah, I knew. But what made it personal was that I used to feel like that. Even with my powers, I still felt like an outcast. I couldn't talk about that with anyone, not even April since I didn't know she had the same powers. Then I met you guys and I finally felt like I belonged. I guess that when you said that, I got scared that we wouldn't get you back," Jamie explained.

Raph hugged her as she sobbed into his shoulder. He tried to calm her down best he could and when she did, they faced each other.

"I would never leave you like that. When I heard your voice, it brought me back. I was able to fight off the mind control because of you. My life isn't complete without you. I hope you believe me when I tell you that," Raph said.

Jamie smiled and caressed his cheek. She leaned in and kissed him. He joined in quickly and when they needed to breathe, they parted and let their foreheads rest on each other.

"I believe and love you, Hamato Raphael," she smiled.

He returned it and said, "I love you too, Hamato Jamie."

She giggled and kissed him once more. Then they said their goodbyes to the Mutanimals then they all went to bed.
