Splinter sat on the couch, trying to breathe steadily. Slash gave him a bowl of soup.

"I'm sorry, Master Splinter. When I attacked, I could see everything that was happening, but I couldn't control my actions. Please, forgive me," Slash apologized.

Splinter put a hand on his shoulder and said, "There is nothing to forgive, my friend. This was Shredder's doing. Your mind was not your own."

"Those worms must have programmed you two like sleeper agents," Donnie replied.

"Indeed, it was dreadful. My thanks to all of you for saving us," Rockwell responded.

"All I know is that those worms were nasty, and it's awesome to have you guys back," Mikey told them, putting an arm around Raph.

"Thanks, little brother, but we owe it all to Leo and Jamie," Raph insisted.

"Well, what would we do without you? Every team needs an impulsive, loudmouthed, super-violent hothead, right?" Leo chuckled a little.

Raph started to growl and approach his brother. Leo started to get a little scared until Raph smiled and hugged him.

"You're the best, bro," Raph said.

"Okay, all right. All right," Leo smiled.
