Serena's POV

"And please welcome, the Kalos Queen, Serena!" Yells a loud voice through the speakers. I step into the light, blinking. It's just like Aria said. The thrill and exciting music and movements, it's a blast! I look out at the crowds, and I see Shauna and her Ivysaur. She waves wildly, not caring about the attention she could get. I smile, and give a small wave back, before starting my performance.
The upbeat music starts, and I begin dancing, and skipping around.

"Okay, Braixen, use Flamethrower, and Sylveon, use Moonblast!" I instruct, and they obey, leaving a shimmering shower of sparkles trickling down on the audience. They gasp with delight, and, best of all, they smile. That's why I wanted to do this in the first place. The day I achieved "A smile gives others strength" I came up harder -and stronger- than before, and became Kalos Queen. The upbeat music continues.

"Alright! Pancham, use Dark Pulse! And Braixen, use Ember, then Sylveon, use Swift!" I shout, and Sylveon jumps on my shoulder, ready to pounce and use her move. Braixen twirls her flaming twig gracefully, and breathes a hot swirl of air up high. The complicated, but well rehearsed routine is working out fine, and no matter what or where the performance is, I always get nervous.

When I became Kalos Queen, Aria, or Ari, as I like to nickname her, gave me some pointers.

*Flashback*

"I'll be okay, right, Ari?" I ask, worridly. This is my first performance, and I'm a nervous wreck!
"You'll be fine, trust me!" She reassures me. Then we hear the man shouting the introduction.
"Now, go and knock 'em dead!" She yells as I walk away, and into the spotlight on stage. I am instantly blinded by a shining stage light. I blink, dazed. It's amazing. My breathing slows, and I take it in. This is what I came here for. To have fun and to make others happy too...

*End of flashback*

"Okay, Pancham!" I say, and extend my arm and he grabs hold of it.
"Now use Stone-Edge, and you two, take it away!" I command my Pokemon, who nod and spring into the finale sequence. Sylveon picks up Braixen with her ribbons, who throws her stick up in the air for me to catch. I grab hold of it, and start dancing a different routine to earlier. The contrast works, as I found out from other performances. I twirl it round, my honey blonde hair flying, and my signature pink and red dress moves to the beat, while my blue pearl necklace sways. Out of the corner of my eye, I see my partners dance, happy to do this. They would die if we stopped performing, I'll bet. Then Pancham uses his move, and Braixen and Sylveon jump up on them, making them explode with shimmering sparkles. Sylveon, uses her last move, "Sylveon, lets wrap this up with Fairy Wind!" I say, and instantly Braixen and Pancham both grab onto my hands, and we are propelled up. It's a great way to finish! I think to myself, as we land on our feet. They do their last twirls, and bow low to signal the finish.
"And we're all done!" I say to the audience, who erupts with applause. In all the crowds, I see a blond boy with glasses, and somebody, his sister, clapping with him. Next to them, I see a dark haired boy in blue jeans and a red and blue jacket, and a Pokeball cap. I know those three...

"Speech, speech!" A member of the audience shouts. Suddenly, I remember who they are.

"Thank you all so much, it really means a lot! But, all these performances wouldn't be possible without my three friends in the audience, right there!" I point them out, and people turn to look. I smile and wave at them, so happy to see them. They see me and wave back, Bonnie looking especially ecstatic. They must've thought I wouldn't spot them, because they looked pretty surprised when I said my speech. I hope we can catch up after this, as its been so long since we last saw each other. Hmm, about 3 years, I think! Damn, time flies.
