~Star's POV

I kissed Marco! Sure it was on the cheek but I still kissed him like what the waricorn!! What if he hates me forever now? "No he won't hate you" my heart said. "He'll hate you" my head said.Ughhhh why can't my heart and my head ever agree!!! "Star?" Marco's voice came from outside my room.

I didn't answer I just went over to my door and sat down. "Star? Please open the door" he pled wanting to see me. "Why does he want to see me? I kissed him! It's awkward!" I thought tilting my head. Marco sighed and I could hear his hand lightly press on the door. "Are you mad at me?" Marco said through the door, he sounded so.. heartbroken...

It made me sad to hear him like this but I couldn't seem to choke out any words or sounds. Marco sighed again but this time in defeat and sorrow. "At least come and eat lunch" He said trying his hardest to make me come out and I could hear his hand come off the door.

I feel bad for not opening the door for him but I just couldn't, it was like I was frozen in time and space and could only hear him talking,breathing and his movements. After he left and went downstairs I could seem to move again.

So I opened the door and quietly made my way downstairs and peeked through the railing to see Marco on the couch staring at the ceiling with a blank expression on his face but it was obvious he was thinking about a lot of stuff at once that he didn't know what to feel.

I went all the way down the stairs this time and Marco looked over and a giant smile appeared on his face instantly. "Star!" He said happily coming over to hug me and I put out my arms allowing him to. "Why'd you lock yourself in your room all day?" He said concerned as he released me from the hug and held my hands instead,which caused us both to blush and as soon as he noticed he did this he let go of my hands.

"I-I felt guilty and awkward about kissing your c-cheek and I was worried you'd be mad at me so I didn't come out" I replied stuttering and kinda emotional about talking about my well.. emotions.

"I could never be mad at you! And even I do get mad I couldn't stay mad at you for long even if I tried!" He responded seriously but in a sort of happy tone. "Really?" I asked not being able to believe that he didn't care and actually really, really seemed to mean it. "Really!" He said with a small smile and a silent laugh. "You are too kind and upbeat and energetic and fun to stay mad at!" Marco complemented me and I couldn't help but smile at this, he's so adorable! "Thanks Marco" I said still smiling.

~Marco's POV

I can't believe Star thought I'D be mad at her! She's to upbeat to stay mad at! And plus she's my best friend, I love her weirdness although it took a while to get used to it im happy she's my friend. I don't know what I'd do if she wasn't in my life anymore... "what happens when she goes back to Mewni? Will she be able to visit? Will we never be able to see or even talk to each other again?" I thought as my smile started to fade as I looked at her beautiful blue eyes I just got lost in them... so pretty... so kind...
