ELIANA's family arrived at 3 p.m. because there was traffic. They also took the babies with them because there was no one to look after them. Eliana's father and mother will only stay inside the car so they can watch over the cats who are just behaving.

Eliana was wearing a cap and shades so she could not be recognized. She didn't want to wear it, but Jay forced her. Every time they get stopped at the gasoline station or restaurant, they hear Ran and Eliana's names.

Maybe because of curiosity, Eliana's followers boosted on social media, especially on the writing platform Watt. They even commented on After Our Universe Collided which is still ongoing. It tells the story of Ran and Eliana so they are sure that Eliana is referring to Ran by using the real name itself which those chapters were true.

Until they arrived in Pasay around 9 p.m. There is traffic and a lot of people in the Arena. Fortunately, Eliana got through inside without recognizing her. Shiela was carrying Ryujin Nippon posters as well as Nixie. Eliana was holding Ran's jersey t-shirt.

"So many people!" Jay said.

"Yes, Jay because it's the finals," Eliana said as she spelled out the bleachers where they would sit.

Eliana saw Anrie with Ran's mother and her siblings, Kanta, Kaito, and Rikky. It's a good thing she didn't see them. She has no intention of showing them yet.

Later there was a scream, a sign that Ryujin Nippon and Poland entered the court. The Philippines looked like Ryujin Nippon's home court because of the large number of people watching it. The good thing is the last host country is the Philippines because the Filipinos have respect for the players. Many people say that the best fans in the world are the Filipinos.

Eliana remembered that Poland had defeated Japan several times in 2023. Poland was also the host country at that time, so many Polska were cheering for Poland. Maybe because of the pressure and Nishida not being able to play, they lost. Only in the VNL can Japan not lose to Poland.

Especially when some Polska were disrespectful during plays because there was a booing effect. Only this year, the format of the VNL has been changed as the country will no longer host the participants in the finals.

Eliana's heart beat fast the moment she saw Ran. The young man looked around as if looking for someone, hoping to see her.

He went to the bleachers where Anrie was. Maybe he was looking for Eliana.

"Are you going to show up?" Jay asked. "I guess he's looking for you."

"I'll show up later," Eliana said. "He'll see me later, that's for sure. He has sharp eyes."

After the warm-ups, the coin toss began. Poland will serve first and Ryujin Nippon will receive. Eliana notices Ran's focus on the game as if down but still keeping up.

Eliana removed the shades and cap while raising the jersey she was holding. "He can't give up, it's for his dream," Eliana said to herself. That's why, he suddenly caught the camera.

"Eliana!" Anrie commented and looked around to find Eliana.

The crowd rioted because of that and Ran looks at the big screen. His eyes enlightened, as if his eyes sparked, and smiled widely. "Damn, Eli . . . I know you won't disappoint me," Ran said to himself.

His game became lively and no longer down like a while ago.

"Looks like Ran has seen you," Shiela said. "It's good to bring his mood."

Every member of Ryujin Nippon played flawlessly and showed their full skill and passion for playing volleyball.

When they reached the 4th set, due to Ran's exaggerated play when he spiked, his foot snagged on the net causing him to fall and hurt like what happened before.

Eliana stood up and looked at Ran being guided by Team Japan medics.

Eliana's face turned to the big screen again with worry. Ran saw that and he looked in Eliana's direction. He raised his hand with a thumbs up. He mouthed, "It's okay."

Eliana frowned and said, "Baka!"

Shiela laughed because of that. "Chill, Ate Gurl!"

"He's annoying! Because of his exaggeration in the game, he got injured again. That Baka!" Eliana looked peeved, but deep inside she was worried.

"Sus! Problematic girlfriend!" Jay teased.

Because of what happened to Ran, someone backed him up to his place. Eliana was nervous because Ran might be in trouble and she couldn't come there. She just prays that everything will be alright.

They reached the 5th set, Ran entered again, and this time he was okay. Eliana knew that Ran was still suffering from back pain so she continued to pray.

Ran looked in Eliana's direction and he winked. That wink was as if an arrow had hit Eliana's heart, so her face turned red and her chest heaved.

"Ran winked! Do you see that?" the fan asked just behind them.

"Of course, Eliana is here! You're assuming!"

After the start of the game, Ran Takahashi started again. It's like nothing happened to him when he played. And after a long match point, they won against Poland.

Ryujin Nippon won the gold medal. The crowd cheered because of that and screams could be heard all over the arena.

On Ran's part, he ended the game, he suddenly thought of what Eliana had said. "The team you may face would be unbeatable now, but always remember that one day, one team will lose their match and beat them because they have seen not to be humble enough at the top. The right thing to do is to be humble always, Ran. I knew you! You're so boastful keep humbleness!"

"Every time she spoke, she assured that there is a sense."

After that, they were awarded and Ran Takahashi was MVP. After the awarding ceremony, many people still approached Ryujin Nippon to take pictures, especially Ran, but Ran passed this time and approached Eliana and gave her the trophy. "This is for you, my dear Eli," Ran said, and suddenly Betelgeuse by Yuuri was played.

The crowd cheered because of that. The camera then focused on the two of them and was seen on the big screen. Many people saw the two of them so they could witness Ran's surprise.

"I'm shy," Eliana said as she took the young man's trophy. "Damn, Baka-hashi! What's your trip?"

Ran took the microphone and said, "You remember the day you told me that if you had a first kiss, that person is sure that he will marry you and wants to preserve yourself until the day you marry." Ran held Eliana's hand and looked at her directly to her eyes.

Eliana heard her heart beating and she felt a tear forming in the corner of her eye. "W-What do you mean?"

Ran knelt in front of Eliana and took out the ring. "I want to be part of your every morning and night. The sunshine that I'll always look for in every darkness. I will not grow as a person without your presence," Ran said. "I will be marrying you, my dear Eli. I want to be with you for the rest of my life," Ran added, which is why the crowd screams. "Anata ga inai jinsei wa kangaerarenai." (Translation: I can't imagine my life without you.) Support from the crowd poured in for the two.  "Sekai ichi shiawase na otoko ni shite kuremasuka, Eli?" (Translation: Will you make me the happiest man in the world?)

Eliana smiled widely, her dimples appeared which was the reason why the young man fell in love with her even more. Undoubtedly said, "Hai!" Eliana was very happy because Ran could see that the girl's eyes were also smiling with happiness. "Zutto issho ni itai!"

Ran put the ring on Eliana, stood up, and hugged her while saying, "I love you, aishiteru, ti amo, mahal kita Eliana."

Those magic words soothe Eliana's ears and said, "I already know the truth and that truth is . . ." Eliana smiled even wider and said, "Mahal na mahal din kita, Ran."

Ran loosened his grip and gently pressed her lips to the girl's. "I love you, Eli," Ran said. "You may be first to fall in love with me but I fall harder at the end of the day."
