The next day, 4:00 AM

 He woke up to see the most beautiful face..his ladylove..who was sleeping soundly, hugging him tight. Nothing can be better than this, he thought. He slowly came out of her grip and got ready to leave for the airport. When he came out of the washroom, she was ready with a sweet smile to bid him bye and wish him luck. 

Iss muskurahat ko kabhi jaane mat dijiyega, He said, while caressing her cheeks lovingly..

Jab tak aap hain, yeh muskurahat kahi nahi jayegi, she replied smiling..

He kissed her forehead and took Maa and Ammi's blessings after breakfast and then left for Delhi. Maa had some different feelings while bidding him bye, but shook them off.

Ammi- Beta Haseena, tu thodi der aur soja, kal der raat tak jagi thi na..(noticing her sleepy yet teary eyes)

She hummed and went back to the room. But after lying down, sleep was far away from her eyes. She did stand strong in front of him, but a distance of thousands of kilometres from him that too for 6 months was not something she expected the very next day of her wedding. She finally sat up and engaged herself in some official work of thana, which was pending due to her marriage leave. 

Anubhav was in the flight, staring at her picture, 

AS- Kaise hain aap itni khubsurat..(caressing her face on the screen)

AS- humein aaj bhi yaad hai, jab humne pehli baar aapko dekha tha,uss boondi singh ke ghar ke saamne, tab hamare hriday mein pratham baar kisi stree ke prati koi bhaavna jagrit hui thi..aapka wo vichlit chehra, jab hum flirt kar rahe the aapke saath..sab acche se yaad hai. Tab gyat nahi tha ki hum aapko apni patni banakar layenge ek din..par dekhiye, aapne woh jaadu bhi kar diya humpar..

He slept with the thoughts of his ladylove till he landed in Delhi.

IB Headquarters, New Delhi.

He entered his cabin and saw Neeti standing there with a smile.

Neeti- Jai Hind Sir!

AS- Jai Hind, kya kya pending hai? (sitting on the chair)

Neeti- Sir dekhiye, filhal 2 bade missions ko anjaam dena hai. Mission Kaal aur ek top secret mission, jo baba se related hai. Mission Kaal ke liye Agents gaye hain, unse positive news milne ki poori umeed hai. Agar nahi bhi kar paye, toh I'll tackle with it. Toh I guess apko iss mission pe hi kaam karna chahiye..aur kuch project papers sign karne hain..(forwarding the paper and a file with TOP SECRET written on it) I'll take you leave.(she went)

Anubhav signed those papers and then opened that file. The first page showed a name, seeing which his eyes turned red.

Ajay Bakshi.

He turned the page to see the details regarding the mission. His first step was to find the location of Ajay, as he literally left no trace after committing sins. He remembered the words written in his Baba's diary, "Bakshi ko mat Bakshna, Officer"..he remembered, in his childhood, when he said that he wanted to be a police officer, Baba always called him officer after that. He turned a few pages, when his phone rang. Not the personal one, the one he used for very secretive calls. The caller ID showed, Agent Lucia. He was shocked, as Agent L. had last called him 1 year back, telling him that Bakshi was lurking  around Haseena, during Mission Behrupiya. She always gave the right information with appropriate proofs.Anubhav picked up the call.

Ag L.- Humein tumse pyaar kitna, yeh hum nahi jaante..Magar jee nahi sakte, tumhare bina...(singing)

AS looked at his phone and then kept it again on his ear. The call was cut immediately.

Anubhav was now super confused, not understanding what to interpret.

At home, Lucknow. 

Muh-Dikhayi ceremony was about to begin.

Maa- bohot pyari lag rahi hai meri bacchi..(taking balaye)

Haseena- Thank you Maa..(smiling)

Ammi was correcting her pallu..

-Her Saree-

All the ladies came and she served them snacks..

L1- Bohot khubsurat hai aapki bahu, Samiksha ji..(Blessing her)

L2- wakayi..aur khana bhi accha bana leti hai..aapki toh life set hai behen ji..

L3- haan, ab din bhar bahu aapke pair dabayegi..khana khilayegi..

Maa- Humne ghar par bahu layi hai, Naukarani nahi...(sugar coated smile)

L1- Par yeh sab toh har bahu ka farz hota haina...

L2- Haan, ab kahan ye naukri wagera karegi..haina beti?

Haseena- Aap hamare bade hain, isliye izzat se keh rahe hain..hum bahu ke saare farz nibhayenge par vardi toh hum marne ke baad bhi nahi utarenge.. Aur bahu se zyada iss ghar ki beti jaise rakha hai humein Maa ne..aur humein garv hai iss baat par..ab apke befizool sawal ho gaye ho toh khana enjoy kijiye..(smiling)

All the ladies shut their mouth up, Maa and Haseena smiled at each other..Ammi remained like a spectator throughout, she felt blessed as her daughter got another mother in the form of Maa..

After the guests left, the home's landline rang..Haseena picked it up..

Haseena- Hello?

Anubhav- Kaisi hain aap?

Haseena- Anubhav!(she shouted, Maa and Ammi also came near her listening his name)

Haseena- Hum theek hain, aap kaise hain? kuch khaya piya ya nahi?

Anubhav- Humne kha liya..jaldi se Maa ko phone dijiye na..yaha network bhot kharab hai..

She gave the phone to Maa..

Maa- Pahunch gaya na dhang se?

Anubhav- Haan maa, pahunch gaye theek se..aapse ek prashn tha..

Maa- haan bol na

Anubhav- Baba ka pasandeeda geet kya tha? Jo wo aapke liye gaate the?

Maa- Kyun puch raha hai?(confused)

Anubhav- Bataiye na maa jaldi

Maa- Humein tumse pyaar kitna..

Anubhav was now sure, that the agent was hinting about baba...he was immersed in thoughts thinking whether his baba was Alive or Dead?
