Eastward of the capital of Diora Castle town, stood the iron cage that protected the innocent villagers of the kingdom from the vilest of criminals...
The BIRD CAGE
This iron-plated prison held the largest amount of dangerous individuals, from petty thieves to evil cultists.
The majority of the enemies taken down by Remi and co were held here, including Clide, Audrey, the beast gang, etc.
However, those were only the prisoners on the surface level.
Down below the prison was a different story.
The lower level of the birdcage hosted criminals worse than those on the surface; these were war Criminals, serial killers, and mass murderers.
These individuals were detained there and would most likely never see the light of day ever again, every single one of them, or so they thought...
Two high-ranking silver knights descended the massive stairway to the lower level, passing by cages and cells with individuals yelling at them.
"Ah, a woman?!", "Damn it's been years since I last saw a woman!", "Come here pretty lady, come check out my rod!" The prisoners taunted the female knight who passed by.
The woman had bright blue armor on and short chin-length red hair; her hourglass figure was quite appealing to the eye, and on her thin waist was a small black dagger; she also had a blue sash that identified her as a member of the blue dew guild.
Next to her was a man with a feminine face; he sported dark blue armor, and a whip was attached to his belt; he had long black hair that flowed down to his waist, his emerald eyes were pretty, and he had a blue sash as well.
The two were elites of the Blue Dew guild and we were assigned to bring out a certain prisoner from the lower levels
"Ariana ignore them, just keep an eye out for her..." The feminine man stated, addressing the red-haired girl.
"I've got it, Aster, but still, just being down here makes me want to vomit," Ariana answered the man now known as Aster.
They passed by numerous iron cells until they stopped at a particular one guarded by rough-looking men in red loincloths.
The cell was made of strange black steel that glittered with tiny purple stones within them.
Inside the cell was a masked individual; their arms were bound by the same type of black metal as the cage.
"Ara... I didn't think David would ask for my help so soon," a female voice came from the masked individual.
"How did you?!!" Ariana was dumbfounded about how the prisoner knew their intentions, but Aster was unfazed.
"Yes, Sir David has allowed you to be released for the time being to train certain knights in the ways of magic," Aster spoke out.
"Of course, all of the idiots in this wretched shit hole could never reach the understanding of magic like I could," she stated smugly.
"However I sense these knights or at least one In particular that is special," she continued.
Aster and Ariana freeze, not wanting to give any more info out.
"Oh my! Your silence answers me clearly. Let me out already; I can't wait to see him," she said, banging her chained hands against the cage.
"Grrrrrr, so annoying!", "The craziest woman in the kingdom," the buff guards said, annoyed by her antics.
"Something tells me we're going to regret this" Ariana stated.
"Yeah, me too, but if a platinum rank can allow her release, who are we to say otherwise," Aster said while bringing out a very strange horizontal key, readying to open the black cell, all while the prisoner was giggling.
Sangaser training Grounds
In a Colosseum-like building made from seastone, Remi, Debora, and Alex were training their hardest to master their unstable Magic.
"Hyahhhh! Ahhhhh! Rahhhhhh!" Remi was flailing his sword around, pissed off at something; he then remembers a particular scene from that morning.
*Flashback*
Remi was confronted by the other members of the Wrath party about an upcoming mission.
Edward stood up to the angry guy and said, "Sir, it's okay even if you can't use magic; Genny and I can do the magic support while you go full physical offense," he said kindly.
"Yeah, that's right, we're heading to the beach to investigate Terence's shores for any scriptures the cultists could be after," Genevieve stated. "It could be fun (and you can see me in a swimsuit,)" she continued, but only whispered the last part.
"Yeah, let's go; we haven't gone on a big mission like this in ages!" Valerie added.
"Let's go go goooooooooo!" Sofia yelled while running around in a circle.
"Yeah, we don't know what we'll see down there, we could use the demonic backup," Zion smiled.
"As if!" Remi yelled. He couldn't contain his frustration towards his lack of control; most of his friends could use magic, but not him; it was frustrating; he didn't want to always rely on Wruk's power since the last time he did, it cost him a month of no control over his life.
Remi felt more of a burden than an asset to Edward and the others.
"Go on; I'll keep training until I master this bloody fire magic!" He shouted looking at his right hand
Being turned down saddened the group, but they respected his decision and went to the beach along with some silver-rank knights, namely Ali, Eliza, and the new bronze-rank knights, as well as Princess Nova and Charlie, leaving behind Alex and Deborah, who also wanted to train.
*Flashback ends*
Deborah was kicking the air relentlessly.
Alex was punching the air as well.
Some ice and rock particles could be seen forming on their body parts, and for Remi, who was swinging his sword, some smoke and sparks of flames started to appear along the trail he struck in the air.
The 3 knights were progressing in mana control, but extremely slowly; that's why David had instructed the next event to take place.
'Step! Step! Step!' loud noises could be heard from a mile away from the training grounds, alerting Remi and the others; however, they couldn't react in time.
"Woooooooooowwwww!" Remi screams as he is taken off guard and pinned down by an incredibly fast assailant.
"Guy!" "Remi!" Alex and Deborah shout as the person on top of Remi's mask is removed by their speedy movements.
The assailant was a woman with wild red hair and a beautiful face; her expression as she lays on top of the wrath demon was that of pure ecstasy.
"I knew it; even though you died, your spirit is still present inside, Nicholas!" The woman said referring to Remi with a strange name.
"What the...... Kuuu," Remi's head starts to hurt as a strange entity starts to crawl through the cracks.
"It's this woman; she was with my previous host, interesting as she can still feel his soul within me," Wruk states, amazed by the woman's sensory ability.
"Soul...." Remi says holding his forehead.
"Hey get away from him!" The red-haired knight from before Ariana shouts as She and Aster enter the Colosseum.
"Are you trying to get between Nick and me? Do you have a death wish?!" The woman shouted while releasing murderous intent.
"Tch," Ariana hissed as she got into a defensive stance.
"Can someone please explain what's going on!" Alex shouts getting everyone's attention.
"Sorry, Sir David asked us to get you a teacher to help you master your magic. However, we didn't count on how crazy she was," Aster said apologetically.
"You expect this crazy lady to teach us to control Mana? She can barely control herself!" Debora shouted.
"Somebody get her off me!" Remi shouts, still suffering from major headaches from Wruk's forced appearance.
"Nicky, come on, let's go somewhere more private; it's been so long since I last saw the sun," she said in a babyish tone that creeps Remi out some more.
"Maybe a demonstration will convince you {light magic, glitter star!}" Aster raises his right hand; light energy forms a Star-shaped bomb and flung it at the red-haired prisoner.
"Really what a cockbloker!" The woman put her left hand forward and stopped the magic attack in its track. 'Twaaaaaaak!'.
Remi and Co couldn't believe their eyes as the magic attack was completely canceled out by the woman who looked pissed off by the guards.
"Who the hell...", "Is she?!" Alex and Deborah said respectively.
Ariana then spoke out, "That's Argent Rennet, former platinum Rank knight of Diore, and companion to the previous Demon knight of Wrath, Nicholas Stone," she finished.
"Platinum rank?!" Alex screamed.
"Wait, companion? She was involved with the guy who almost destroyed the kingdom?" Deborah reasoned the situation.
"What! Did... You help him...." Remi was cut off.
"Kill people, fight against the villagers? Yes! Yes, I did; I loved him after all," Argent stuck out her tongue.
"You... You expect me to learn from someone like ahhhhhh!" Remi is stomped on the shoulder by Argent and screams in pain.
"You're a lot louder than Nicky; I'm the best magic sensor in this fucked up world; if you truly want to master Ignition magic, then you better be a good boy," She rubbed his head.
Remi was shocked "Ignition....magic?" Was this the type of magic he was gifted?
"She might be crazy, but her powers are legit; she is one of the five users of Arcane magic in this world; only five people can have one at a time," Ariana explained.
"Arc V: Complete Cancel, the ability to sense and cancel out any magical attack, her relationship with mana is out of the world," Aster explained.
"Meaning I can determine each and every magic I sense, even you two dingdongs Ice dancer magic and
Earth mail magic kinda unique for bloody normies, I can work with this," Argent stated.
"She'.... Good," Alex admitted kinda scared of the crazed woman.
Deborah was contemplating, "But she's bad, right?" She wondered.
"I hate it, the idea of you helping me, but... If I want to get stronger, so strong that I won't need to use the power of wrath" Remi spoke out.
"Ara.... You don't want to be like Nicky? Well, let's see how long you can keep saying that now then, let's go!" She shouts.
"Wait, go where?!" Remi, Deborah, and Alex asked.

MOUNT COLUMBUS
One of the tallest mountains in the world of Mineus, not so far from Sangaser, Aster and Ariana were standing guard at the bottom but at the summit.
"Hurrrrahhhhhhhh!", "Gaaaaaaaaaah!", "Kyaaaaaaah!" Remi, Alex, and Deborah were screaming in pain over the pressure they were currently under; the mountain had a strange quality unlike the others; the gravity here was a lot more than anywhere else on the planet.
The three knights were finding it hard to even stand on their two legs. However, Argent just laughed at them, "Hahahahahahahaha! So David really thinks you guys are so important to actually call me? Hahaha, let's see if they can stand my hell training" Argent smiled.
