South of Castle Town
King's Rock

This was a special area near the royal castle, it was part garden part alter, gathered here today was the Goblin king of the Diora kingdom Seth, and his right-hand man Victor, both stayed at the highest point, even his daughter and two sons were here Unala, Stefan and Bon(he was incredibly fat and munching on a chicken drumstick wearing a green trade shirt)

while standing about 20 meters away from them were the guild masters, David the leader of the black moons dressed in black armor with a blue scarf around his neck,
Emeka the leader of the blue dews, wearing his iconic white suit and claymore around his waist,
Chimamanda the leader of the red embers, with her red hair braided like snakes wearing a fiery dress and silver breastplate,
Sadly, the guild master of the purple spores was absent, leaving only the three masters this time.

King Seth stood up and said, "Following tradition, once every 3 months, a test is given to 12 bronze rank knights; if they pass, they'll move on to silver rank, which will entitle them to more accolades," he said in a raspy-like voice.

Victor steps up as well, "As the King had mentioned before, three knights from the four guilds are here today to solve a demon-related Mission," he said as he raised his hand forward.

12 individual then came from behind their area behind the rocks.
All of whom have reached level 30 in strength

Knights from the Red Embers guild

1. Eliza ( with Drake, the baby Dragon, on her shoulder).
2. Alex, (who was surprising the urge to smile.)
3. Marcus (a middle-aged man with a short beard wearing bronze armor).

Knights from the Blue Dews guild

1. Ali (who had done more missions than anyone who came from the other world with Remi).
2. Deborah (who's Afro was smoking for some reason).
3.Monica (a young woman with a black ponytail hairstyle wearing a pink cloth and holding a katana)

Knights from the purple spores

1. Amaka(she also came with Remi and the others from Earth, but she didn't interact with him at all; her expression was static, and she wore her purple wizard cloak and big hats hiding her braided brown hair).
2. Reginald (a short young man who wearing a dark blue wizard cloak).
3. Regina (Reginald's twin sister wore the same thing as him but had short black hair.

And finally the knights of the black moons.
1.Remi(the main protagonist, looking as pissed as usual)
2. Edward (the chubby sidekick  just happy to have reached this level)
3. Genevieve (the spoilt heiress, what has caused headaches for Remi and Co)

These 12 knights would be tasked with solving a problem most likely demon-related

David sighed and said, "You brats better not embarrass me," in a nonchalant tone.

"Yah yah captain!" Remi yelled back

"I'm so happy to get this opportunity (Mom I made it) 'sob' " Edward said wiping his tears away

"Oh please, I've proven to my father I'm even Platinum rank material, I'll keep on rising, on my way to be the Amazon monarch!" Genevieve said and started moving her hands in the air.

"Heheheheh! What a bunch of weirdos you've got there, Davido," Emeka laughed at his fellow guild master.

"Indeed, I wish they were as disciplined as my kids" Chimamanda pointed to her own knights.

"Sighhhh! I just own up to my past mistakes; karma's a bitch" David said.

"We're taking the demon hunting test with a demon?"Marcus remarked.

"Hehehe Talk about ironic" Monica mocked

"Hey Remi's an okay knight," Eliza said defensively

"Not as good as I am, but his decent," Ali said as a compliment to himself.

*Enough talk the location of the demon activity is separated into two so you'll be split up into groups" Victor said

They drew colored straws to see which group they belonged to.

As expected Marcus and Regina weren't as excited to be teamed up with Remi.

The two teams then went on their way

"Be careful out there Alex, Remi!" Eliza said like a worried mother.

"Don't miss my presence too much" Genevieve said as she moved her blonde hair back

"Try not to be useless Alex and Remi" Ali gloated again

"Do your best" Deborah simply said.

"We're wasting time," Amaka said

"I agree," Reginald added, trying to win over Amaka's favor (simp).

"Tsk, let's just do this!" Remi put his fist together

"I won't lose!" Edward raised his hands up

"Hohohoho I'm getting fired up!" Alex laughed

The other 3 remained silent.

"Alright, everyone goes and brings back the result; if anything goes wrong, come back here and report it understood!" Victor yelled

"Got it!!!!" They all yelled and went to their respective positions.

Unala had a grim expression (something's off) she thought to herself.

West, lake Astrus
Following the path laid by the blue lake, the 6 knights see something like an abandoned warehouse,

"Something tells me that place doesn't have crackers," Marcus remarked.

"I've not gotten magic yet, but I feel something dark within," Monica said.

"You aren't wrong; something's in there," Regina made notice.

"But it's too weak to tell if it's an enemy or Ally" Edward added

"Hey Remi, why don't you check it out? If it's a monster and chews on you, you'll still be okay, right?" Alex said minded.

"you say it as if I don't feel the pain of getting eaten! Sighhhhhhhh, whatever..." Remi enters; however, Edward follows behind him into the warehouse.

Inside the abandoned building are numerous cobwebs, dust unlike any other place, and broken glass.

"This reminds me of the scary stories my mom used to tell me, a hunted woodland mansion with monsters," Edward said while cowering behind Remi.

"Woodland mansion? That sounds like a place I wouldn't want to visit," Remi said as he continued deeper into the building.

'Crack!' "munch munch munch!" They hear a bottle break followed by severe chewing.
The duo goes to check out the sound and sees a black-cloaked creature eating out of a brown box containing bottled beans.

"Ed, what the hell is that?" Remi said feeling an ominous aura from the creature

Its entire body was black like charcoal, and its limbs were as thin as sticks, but what was really freaky were its skeletal wings and bony tail
Its attention was drawn to Remi, and it moved its skull-like face and made a somewhat smiling expression.

"It's......a chimera.....but how their all supposed to be dead?!" Edward muttered.

Remi moves closer to the creature who continues to eat despite him holding a sword.

Remi touches the black back of the chimera; it feels bony and gives him chills.

"Sir!, be careful! Those things were used by Alchemists to gather humans during the old wars, they are humans transfigured by demonic magic into mixed abnormalities!" Edward explained.

"So they were human once..... It asts so docile......" Remi continued to stroke the creature feeling somewhat of a kindred spirit As he too was human once.

"Sir, nothing can be done for it; the only thing left is to put it out of its mise...." Edward said in a sad tone but was cut off.

"No!......" Remi's rage flared up, "There has to be something we can do?!" He yelled.

"Sir..." Edward could see it in his friend's eyes he didn't know what to say to comfort him.

"Hey, you guys, someone weird is outside asking for... What the hell is that?!!" Alex came after them and yelled in surprise.

"Scriiiiiiiiii!" The chimera also yelled similarly, spilling some beans from its mouth.

"Careful don't startle it! What's this about a weird person sir Alex?" Edward asked.

Outside
Regina, Monica, and Marcus were taken aback by seeing a chimera latch onto Remi's left leg like a cat.

"What?!, Haven't you guys seen a cat before?!" Remi said jokingly, but they all looked at him like a madman.

"Oh yes, that's what I was looking for!" a strange voice alerts Remi and Edward.

It was a fine young woman wearing a black and white maid uniform; her long black hair reached her hip and swayed with the wind, and she wore thick glasses, too.

"Um, who are you miss?" Edward asked politely.

"Oh, pardon me, my name is Homus," the woman bowed.
"That creature belongs to my master; we've been tracking it for months now. Could you hand it over?" she asked nicely.

"Look here, Lady, firstly, we'll be taking that thing back to the king for our test, then you can settle whatever you want with it," Marcus said.

"Skriiiii...." The chimera continued to cling to Remi, and hiss at Homus.
Remi also didn't like the vibe she gave off.

"Oh dear adventurers, can't you just make this easy and leave it to me?" the woman put a hand on her cheek. "I'd hate to use force".

"Is that a threat?! You dare threaten us, knights?!" Marcus put his meaty hand on Homus's shoulder, however...

"Don't touch me you Savage" {spiral!}
Homus said disgusted as the hand on her shoulder began to make a horrible noise
'crickkkk!'
"Gah!" Marcus fell backwards realizing what had just happened.

"My arm..... my arm!" Marcus cried as his right arm was now broken and shaped in a spiral manner (@).

"The hell?!" Alex shouted.

"She's a hostile! Ready your weapons!" Monica ordered as she got into a battle stance.

"Reginald, we've spotted a threat, requesting back up!...... Reginald!" Regina shouted as she spoke to the crystal ball on her staff.

"Guys they aren't responding!" Regina shouted worried.
All of them looked scared the unknown woman was definitely a level 50 or higher from the aura she was releasing.

"Sir!" Edward's eyes were full of worry.

Homus bent down to the level of Marcus and touched his chest 'Tap'

"Grrr' graaaaa!! 'twisssssstttt!" Marcus screamed as his whole body spun around like a tread until only a red pebble remained which the evil woman picked up from the sand.

"Huhuhuhu, If you're trying to reach those lv 30 adventures, my salamanders have made quick work of them," Homus laughed.

"you don't mean....." Alex struggled.

"Miss Eliza, Genevieve......" Edward muttered.

"You bastard!" Remi shouted will all his might, the chimera still clinging to him.

Astrus Villa (20 minutes ago)
An unholy battle was taking place, the beautiful clay houses around were either destroyed or on fire.

"Huf Huf Huf," Ali stood holding up his katana, his white cloth and turban torn and dirtied with mud.

He faced a giant lizard creature with shiny red scales.
"Hisssssss" the creature made this sound almost in a mocking manner.

"I freaking hate lizards! [Zaki sword slash!] Ali's body sped up, and he dashed past the lizard, leaving 3 distinct wounds on its left arm.

"Hissssaa!" The lizard stood up enraged, revealing its transparent belly, which contained an orange wisp of fire.

'share!' the lizard shoots out a ball of fire that explodes, sending Ali flying backward and crashing into a clay house. 'Bammmm!'

"Kaaah!" Ali spat out in pain.
He stood up only to see his other comrades defeated.

Two lizards are seen holding both Eliza and Deborah in their claws.

"Let them go!" He shouted however

'Gulp,' 'Gulp,' the lizards swallowed the two women whole in front of him.

"..........die!" Ali yelled in anger and stood up However.

"Graaaa," the lizard he was currently fighting took advantage of his rage and charged at him 'gulp'... Ali was swallowed as well.

Four lizards came back together each having one of the bronze knights that came to the village in their bellies.

"Hey, you salamander bastards! You let the villagers escape but you captured the other worlders instead?!" Genevieve stood on top of a dead salamander corpse and questioned the rest.

"Who's commanding you monsters?!" The Amazon said gathering light energy in her hand.

"Chhhha!, chaaaaa!, charrrrr!, cshhhha!" All 4 salamanders shot out fireballs at Genevieve "Boom!!!"

{Light magic silk cacoon}! Genevieve protected herself in a dome of light treads woven together, however.

As the smoke cleared the salamanders were nowhere to be seen
"God damnit!" Genevieve cursed as she kicked the salamander corpse.

Amaka then emerges from one of the destroyed buildings unharmed.
"Sighhhh.... What a terrible situation," she said, pissed off.

Back to Lake Astrus (present time)
"Now, if the rest of you run away and leave that chimera behind, I won't turn you into philosopher stone," Homus said calmly.

"Philosopher stones?" Edward muttered again (does this woman have connections to the ancient Alchemists) he pondered.

"Why are you so interested in it!" Remi yells.

"That's one of my master's early pets; he misses it, so I'm here to take it back," Homus says nonchalantly.

(I can't even tell if she's lying or not) Remi hissed.

"Enough talk." [final strike] Monica rushes with her katana in stabbing motion; however...

{Spiral} As soon as the blade makes with her skin,  it curves into a circle and barely leaves a mark.

"What! Kuhh!" Monica says before her face is grabbed by Homus and slam to the ground 'bammm!'.

Homus then stabs her fingers in between Monica's breasts "guwahhh!" She screams before 'twisttttt!' her whole body curves and changes into a red stone.

"2 down! Who else wants to turn into a mineral" Homus asked smiling.

"Wahhhhh!" Without hesitation, Regina runs away screaming.

"Smart girl, what about you 3 boys?" Homus folds her hands.

"Ed, take the chimera back to captain David" Remi said as he moved forward.
The chimera hesitantly let go of Remi's leg

"What? You can't be serious sir?" Edward retorted.

"You're getting the chance to escape, and you're complaining?" Alex said, annoyed. "If I was in your shoes right now, I'd be long gone," he spat.

"You two? You intend to fight her?" Edward said surprised she was far stronger than they were.

"Just giving you enough time to run away and call for help, my instincts are crying out! Saying I'll regret letting this bitch get the chimera" Remi took out his Abara sword.

"Sir..... I can't abandon you!" Edward began to cry.

"You aren't; I'll be right behind you when we lose this lady," Remi lied.

"What are you still waiting for!" Alex yelled.

Edward bit his lip, grabbed the chimera, and ran in the same direction as Regina.

"As if!" Homus tried to chase after them but.

[Abara sword style! Heavy slam!] 'bammmmm!' Remi used his wrath to create increase the slash radius of the sword causing the group in front of Homus to break from impact.

"Where are you looking?" Remi took a stance.

"Your opponents are right here!" Alex pulled out his iron mace.

"Huhuhu, I wonder what color of stone you'll turn out to be 'lick' " Homus licked her lips.

"You do have a plan right?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, you act as bait while I cut her in half," Remi said jokingly.

"What sort of plan is that?! Whatever" Alex shouted ticked off by Remi's lame strategy.

"Let's go!" The two boys charged at the woman.
"Take this", "Hurahh!" They tried to strike her with their weapons, but she evaded them effortlessly.

[Morning Star!] Alex used a mace skill to speed up his attack and lightly wounded her shoulder

"Tsk {spiral}" Homus backs off  and touches the wound which closes up and curves.

"Disgusting" Alex takes note of how the wound didn't heal up.

[Abara swords style wing beat] Remi swiftly aimed at her leg; however, her leg swirled, and she dodged it. She then tried to touch him.

(Shit!) Remi yelled in his mind.

"Oh no you don't hahhh!" Alex nobly takes the blow instead 'twisssssstttt!'
Before Remi's eyes, his friend's body is twisted into a swirl, and his wrath flares up.

"Rahhhhhhhhhhhh!" Remi swings his blade at Homus's neck in hopes of decapitating her, however.

Homus taps the Sandy floor{spiral} with her foot, and suddenly, the ground spins in a circle, knocking Remi off balance and causing him to drop his sword. "Guwah!" he hits the floor hard.

"Show me the color of your soul!" Homus yelled as she was about to touch Remi however.

{Air wall!} A cyan-colored barrier stopped Homus.
Remi and she turned to see Edward standing alone.

"You idiot! What are doing here?! The chimer....." Remi's rant was cut off by.

"It's long gone, it bolted away from me when I got far enough! But that's not the point! I can't let you fight alone you're my friend!" Edward yelled back

"Tsk! Once again, that chimera has evaded, you brat! Forget turning you into a stone I'll just kill you!" Homus roars and charges at Edward.

"Nooo!" Remi gets up and races towards them.

{Air wall} Edward shields himself with another wall of air, however.

{Spiral} Homus touches the shield, and it swirls and then breaks down.
"No way....." Edward says in fear as his defense is broken.

"Move!" Remi pushes his friend out of the way.

"Sir!!!" Edward watches on as a palm makes contact with Remi's ribcage.

"Ghhhh graaaaa!" Remi's whole body swirls into a bright blue stone which Homus collects and admires.

"Ahhh, almost like a sapphire pretty!" Homus smiles with a blush on her face.

"Give him back! Right now!" Edward in tears, brought out his dagger.

"Be gone trash..." Homus gets ready to kill Edward before she's stopped.
("Homus, return now!) A demonic voice echoes in her head

"Yes, master!" Homus stops and starts to move almost robotically.

"Hey!" Edward charged her but...

{Spiral eruption!}  The ground underneath Edward explodes sending him backwards as Homus leaves the area...

Valerie the Hobbit is sitting on the receptionist's table along with a bitchy Basil
"I wonder how long those guys will take," the young girl says, unaware of the tragic fate her friends are in.

The silver test takes a turn for the worse
