A smiling Rex Crozzo looked at the sunset while his body start to disappear into nothingness.

"So this is it, huh?" He whispered with a sigh while looking at the sword he used stabbed on the ground. He reached for the tattered coat he wore and draped it around the guard. "Full cascade is the limit... I hope the next keeper of memories document this well..."

His left arm was gone and his body had long since turned to flames, only a part of his torso and right arm still remained whole for now. "What a drag." He said with a smile before he reached in for a knife under his belt and cut open a portal to the sea of quanta.

"How cheeky... This is my last words, huh?" He said with a smile as he fell deeper, his body turned to a bundle of bright flames, illuminating a part of the sea before the flames died down.
