Being an idol, standing infront of the camera is no joke.

When you are infront of the camera, all eyes are on you. Those eyes miss nothing. Those eyes don't ignore a single detail. Even a single facial movement, a twitch of fingers gets scrutinized, theorized and whatnot.

That's why most entertainers keep their personal and professional life, facades different. When you are standing on the stage, it's not about the performer. It's all about the viewers, the fans. And the performers duty is to give their fans happiness.

Sometimes, some people misinterpret their loyal gestures for their fans as real love. These fans think the idols, performers are their. If the idol isn't single, the fans don't stick around. They want to see single men and women singing about love to feed off their fantasies.

Thus, the contract of no dating. If the news of an idol dating gets out, not only that one person but everyone related to them is hated, threatened, until they can't do anything but break. No one can live in this pressure forever. No one deserves to live in fear for loving someone genuinely.

With that thought in mind, Seokjin put a smile on his face, hiding the darkness, sadness and hurt, and went up on the stage to perform. He was an idol in that moment. He was Jin of BTS, not Kim Seokjin. His feelings didn't matter, his fans who supported them and got them this far, mattered. It was all for them.

Kim Seokjin could cry all day for losing his love but Jin would laugh his famous laugh to make his fans forget their sadness.

"We should talk to him." Jimin said chewing on his lips furiously. They had just returned home after recording for their stage. Everyone was quite tired but their worry for Seokjin didn't let them rest.

Even Yoongi sat straight, his eyes distant but thoughtful and his fists clenched tightly, making his veins pop out even more on his pale hands.

Seokjin hadn't been himself for the last few days. The break up was taking a toll on him. While he smiled infront of everyone, the boys knew, he still cried behind closed doors. The boys were worried for their eldest hyung who not only gave them energy but also kept them together like glue.

"He won't say anything even if we make him talk. Let him be." Namjoon said, rubbing his tired eyes. "It's just his way to cope. He'll talk when he wants to."

"We know that, Namjoon," Hoseok piqued in, passing everyone some snacks. "But he needs to speak. None of us know what exactly happened between him and Sehee. We have to know if we want to help him get over-"

"There's no need to try and make me talk." Seokjin's booming voice interrupted Hoseok. All members turned towards the eldest as he smiled at them slightly, drying his wet hair simultaneously.

"I'm completely fine." Seokjin continued, walking into the living room. "It's hard to forget her but she had a valid reason to end our relationship. I guess, it was for the best. She's a free woman and I have no right to drag her in my life when I can't even promise her safety. So, I'm good. Don't stress yourself over me. Go and get some sleep."

The members agreed with Seokjin. They knew he was right and Sehee was right too for not wanting to be involved in their complicated lives. But, was falling in love such a crime? Were they not human?

Alas, they had chosen this life themselves, to achieve their dreams and with success came sacrifice. This was their sacrifice for fulfilling their dreams.

Taehyung suddenly hugged Seokjin, surprising him. "Hyung, it's okay to cry and talk about it with us. Do it whenever you feel okay but know we are here for you."

Seokjin sighed, pulling away from Taehyung and smiled, a big, bright smile. "I know that and the only thing you can do right now is not worry about me get some sleep. I'll be fine." Because I know why she really did it, he thought to himself, hugging each and every member, Jungkook clinging to him a little longer than others. He was a very sensitive person afterall, especially when it came to his hyungs.

"Where are you going out at this hour?" Seokjin asked, eyeing Yoongi even as he continued hugging Jungkook. At his question five other sets of eyes turn toward Yoongi, who was busy putting on a coat and his mask.

"Out." With a single word, Yoongi left.

A/N:

Whew! That was a little heavy but I really, really  wanted to include this.

With all the hate going around towards everyone, I tried to put myself in their shoes and tried to figure out how they must really feel about it all. Of course, this might be like scratching the surface but seriously, idols are human too and they deserve to keep their friendships and fall in love.

Thank you for reading!!
