7- Hooked after the first time

Victoria sat at the table drinking a cup of coffee, while Dalton made the two something to eat, smiling while she thought about what she, and Dalton had just shared. It felt good to finally make love to someone who took pride in making the other happy, before satisfying their own needs. She enjoyed every bit of him, and how he was able to satisfy her, and was feeling hungry for more. She looked over his way, and wondered why he was the way he was with her at work, was it his way of trying to get her attention, or was it his way of wanting to get to know her, and just liked messing with her.

He looked over at her, and smiled seeing a smile on her face. Since he took over the clinic, not once did he ever see a smile come across her face, and thought she had a beautiful smile. He walked over to her, and curled his finger under her chin, lifting her head. "You should smile like that more often, it's a good look on you, and you do have one beautiful smile." he says, leaning down, and kissing her.

"Thanks." she said quietly, when he released his grip from her chin.

"Being you're here, and there's nobody around to interrupt us, I was thinking maybe we can talk about what you're going through with your ex, maybe I can help. It also would be nice to know why you've looked so gloomy since I took over the clinic, and why you've hated me from the start." he smirked.

She sighed, and somewhat smiled "OK... just for the record. I don't hate you, I just despised you." she giggled a little, reaching out to touch him. "I'm kidding, I don't despise you, I just thought you were an asshole, one who only cared about himself, and wanted to be that prick of a boss that likes controlling their employees."

"Maybe you know this, maybe you don't... and I can see the previous owners didn't care, and maybe never explained this to you, but you do know the more files you get billed out, the more money you make. Most places have quotas you need to make, and I was just encouraging you to get them done so you could make money... besides the fact I was only messing with you, I saw how worked up you would get, and decided to have some fun with you." he winked.

He walked back over to the stove, got their plates ready, and walked over to the table. The moment he set a plate in front of her, she heard her phone ringing in the other room, and looked at him, excusing herself.

She went in the other room, saw it was Tiara, and answered the phone. She sat on the bed talking quietly to her, and looked over at the nightstand to see the time. "Give me a couple hours, I have to find something to wear." she says quietly.

Are you home right now? Tiara asked, worried she was around a nutjob, and a loose cannon that could blow up at any second.

"No, I'm not..." she says, tightening her lips back, waiting for her to ask where she was, and she did. "I'll call you when I'm done getting ready. Don't worry, I'm safe." she tells her, not wanting to tell her exactly where she was.

She hung up with Tiara, and headed back over to the table. Sitting down, she looked at the plate he made her, and twisted her lips. "Grilled cheese?"

He stopped eating his sandwich, and looked at her. "Sorry, I don't have much food around here, do you not like grilled cheese?" he asked with his mouth full of food, and trying not to spit anything out while speaking.

"I do, but it doesn't like me... I'm lactose intolerant." she says, sighing.

"I'm sorry..." hmm... "I can find something else to make." he says, standing up.

She reached over, stopping him from trying to find her something else to eat. "It's alright, I don't need you to make me anything else. I'll eat it."

He shook his head, knowing it wasn't a good idea. "I don't want you getting sick, I know what it does when you eat something you shouldn't, and I know how painful the symptoms can be."

She shrugged her shoulder, picked up one of the sandwiches, and looked at it before taking a bite. "I'll just stop at the drugstore after I leave here, and buy some lactaid."

He reached for the sandwich, taking it from her hand before she took a bite, and grabbed her plate. He walked back into the kitchen, and set the plate down on the counter, then looked in the fridge, looking for something else to make her. Thinking I really need to do some grocery shopping, as he looked up and down the empty shelves. "Dalton, really I'm alright. Tiara wants to go out, and I need to leave to find something to wear. I can always stop somewhere to eat."

He shut the fridge, feeling guilty he didn't have anything to make her, and leaned against the counter. "Damn, I'm sorry I have nothing here for you. I'm not used to having anyone over, and usually eat out myself."

"You know, that's not good to eat out all the time." she says smiling, surprised to hear him say he eats out most of the time.

"I know, but when I eat out, it's usually only salads, or soup. By the time I get home, it's usually too late to make myself anything. Hence, why I have something here to make quick when I decide to eat at home, like grilled cheese." he snickers. He looked back over to her, and looked at her curiously. "Where are you and Tiara heading?"

"If you're wanting to come along, it might not be a good idea. She's leaving her husband behind, and I'm not so sure I want her to know what happened between us."

He pushed himself away from the counter, smiling as he walked toward her. "You know, there's a way around that. I'll just so happen to be where you're planning on going, and will act surprised seeing you two there." he winked. He reached for her hand, and helped her up, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I'm assuming you two are going to a bar, in which would be a perfect place to be running into you, and it would look unplanned. What do you say?"

She furrowed her eyebrows, wondering if he was one of those men who were controlling. "Why would you want to go where we are, can't two women just hang out without any men following us around?"

"Of course, you can. But I'm not ready to let this beautiful woman out of my sight, I'm not finished with her yet. I'll even pay for your drinks tonight... that is, if that's what you two are up to?" he says, smiling while gazing into her eyes. Hoping she'll give in, and tell him where they're heading.

"Fine, we're going to Heartbreakers... and, you're not paying for my drinks. I can pay for my own."

He looked at her surprised, and couldn't help widening his eyes, hearing where they were going. "Heartbreakers? That's a strip club."

"I know..." she giggled "It'll be perfect, then it really would be a shocker to see you there." He released his arm from around her, and scratched the back of his head, thinking maybe he shouldn't go. "What's the matter? Do you not want to hang out at a strip club?" she asked, smiling wide, thinking the look on his face is priceless. "Isn't that a place where guys like to hang out?"

"It's not that, the question I have is, why on earth would you go hang out at a female strip joint?"

"Because, it'll be a place where we wouldn't have to worry about any men bothering us. They'll be too busy watching the strippers." she giggled.

He liked hearing her say that, and felt it could be true, but could also bite them in the ass, and figured he better go to keep an eye on the two. He leaned forward, and placed a soft kiss on her lips "I'll be there."

"I better get going, I still have to go find something to wear, and to get some food in my stomach."

She left Dalton's, still thinking about how the two made love, and the more she thought about it, the butterflies came out in full force, and tickled her insides like crazy, causing her inner core to throb uncontrollably. She was craving for more, and felt like turning around to go jump his bones. While driving, she couldn't help but think about him, remembering all his facial and body features, how he kisses her, and remembering every second of how he moved inside her, putting her into a magical trance, and deep into thought, that when she came out of it, she realized she drove home to her apartment. Sighing, and wondering what she was thinking to drive home, instead of stopping at a store to buy herself something to wear.

She stared at the keys in her hand, then looked over to her building, dreading the thought of Brayden being there. Well I'm here, I might as well go in... she said under her breath.

While getting out of her car, she looked around to see if she could see Brayden's car parked in the lot, not seeing it, she felt relieved, and quickly headed into the apartment building. She walked into her apartment, and made a sound of relief seeing he was gone. Wanting to get out as fast as she could, she sprinted to her room, and over to her closet. The moment she entered her room, she could see he was in her room digging around, and when she opened her closet door, she knew for sure he was in there digging around. Fucker...she groaned.

She quickly rummaged through her clothes, and found an outfit to wear. After having sex earlier, she wanted to take a shower, but was afraid Brayden would come home while she was in there, and cause problems. She grabbed another set of clothes, shoes, some toiletries, and headed out. She didn't know where she was going to get ready, all she wanted to do was get out of there.

"Victoria, Victoria...about time you come home."

She stopped, and turned her head toward the dining room, and felt her stomach drop to her knees when she saw him standing there. He had a devilish look on his face, and looked like he was up to no good. "Brayden... I thought you were gone." she said nervously.

"And where do you think you're going?" he asked, as he walked toward her.

"None of your business." she says, walking fast to the door. "I'm leaving..."

Rushing to the door, he pushed the door shut just as she opened it, blocking her from leaving. "Brayden, I need you to step away from the door, and if you don't, I'm going to get the cops involved.

He looked at the clothes in her arms, and raised his eyebrows "Looks like you're going out on a date... it's the doctor isn't it."

She laughed, and tried shoving him away from the door, only for him to push her to the ground. "There's no way I'm letting you go out on a date tonight..."

She closed her eyes, and breathed in deep, trying to keep her cool. "I'm not going out on a fucking date, I'm going out with Tiara, you fucking asshole." she yelled, while getting herself up off the ground. "Don't you ever put your hands on me again." She kneeled, and picked up her shoes that had fallen out of her fingertips, and stood up, staring him down. If she had access to her phone, she'd call emergency right away, and have him arrested.

Realizing what he done, he ran his hands through his hair, and took a deep breath "I didn't mean to shove you to the ground, I was only trying to get you to stop shoving me away from the door. I wish you'd talk to me, and see if we can fix this relationship."

"There's nothing to talk about, and nothing to fix. Everything I've had to say, I already talked to you about. There's no fixing our relationship, and if you refuse to leave, then I'll be forced to do something you won't like... your choice."

He stepped away from the door, crossing his arms, and turning his back to her. "Just leave." he growled. Last thing he wanted was for her to get the cops involved, and knew all it took was for her to be holding her phone, and tapping the emergency call button.

She moved to the door, keeping her eyes on him, and opened the door, rushing out. When she got to her car, she sped out of there, and drove to a nearby gas station. Her hands, and feet were shaking so bad, she had a hard time driving, and needed to pull over to calm herself down. She then called Tiara to see if it would be OK to go there to shower, and explained to her what happened when she tried leaving her apartment.

Tiara opened the door, and shook her head at her as she stepped back for Victoria to walk in. "What were you thinking going there knowing he would be there?"

"Can we talk about that later? I really, really could use a shower, and didn't know where else to go."

"Where on earth did you stay where you couldn't shower anyway?"

"My car." she said ashamed. She felt bad lying to her, but felt it would look bad if she told her she slept at Dalton's. She knew her all too well, and didn't need her in her ear telling her how bad it would look if anyone were to find out she was having an affair with their boss.

"Oh Victoria, I'm so sorry. I should have asked if you needed a place to sleep before I left. I was so tired, and wasn't thinking." she says, feeling guilty.

"It's alright, I'm here, and I'm fine... now, if I could just use your shower, I'd feel even better."

She walked her to the bathroom, and handed her a towel. "Don't be afraid to use whatever I have in the shower."

"Thanks, I'll be fine. I was able to grab my things."

Meanwhile: Dalton showered, and changed into blue jeans, and a shirt that showed off his muscular chest, and arms. Hoping it would catch Victoria's eyes. He had to shake his head, when he thought of where he was going, and couldn't believe it was at the strip joint, one of the last places he ever wanted to show his face.

He walked into the joint, and headed over to the bar figuring that would most likely be where the girls would be sitting. He discretely looked around, hoping nobody he knew was there. The last thing he needed was for a patient to recognize him, and didn't want them thinking he couldn't get enough seeing women's anatomies.

He ordered his drink, and when the bartender came back with his drink, he gave him his credit card. "There should be a couple beautiful girls coming, one with dark curly hair, and the other has long blonde hair, with some of the brightest blue eyes you'll ever see. Whatever they order, it's all on me."

"Very well." He grabbed his card, and placed it next to the till.

Dalton sat at the bar, sipping on his scotch, waiting for the woman he couldn't stop thinking about, arrive. The place was loud, but as he took another sip of his drink, he heard two girls giggling near him, recognizing them as Tiara, and Victoria.

He turned his head to the side, and smiled when he saw her. They sat a couple seats down from him, and watched the bartender walk toward them. He got the attention of the bartender, and motioned to him, that those were the girls he was referring to.

The bartender took their order, made their drinks, and as he set their drinks in front of them, he informed them their drinks were paid for.

"What? By who?" Tiara asked surprised.

He turned his head, and pointed over to Dalton. "By that man sitting right over there."

Victoria turned her head, and Tiara leaned over her to see who he was pointing at, and was surprised to see who it was, her eyes widened, and her mouth dropped. "Doctor Jones?"

He looked at them, smiled, and waved, then winked while lifting his drink "Cheers."

Hope you enjoyed the chapter!🤞🤞
